    Think I'll start with Benteke in GW1 with that home fixgture v. Huddersfield, followed by trip to Anfield v. his old team and home v. Swansea.After that, if any striker in the 6.5 - 8M bracket has emerged, I'll be happy to switch to them. » Read

    Burnley away and Soton at home are the subsequent 2, not exactly awful.But the idea is that he can be used as a good placeholder for third striker, someone should emerge in the first 2-3 GWs » Read

    No love for Benteke on here ? His first 3 GWs look like :GW1 : home to Huddersfield, who came through the playoffs with a negative goal difference in the championship. Could be this season's whipping boys.GW2 : away at Liverpool, Benteke's former club, he scored a brace 3 months ago in the corresponding fixture. GW3 : home to Swansea, who had the 4th worst goal difference last season.Yes, Tekkers may be a little overpriced at 8.0 for the season, but he's a great placeholder for your 3rd striker in the first few weeks. Can easily move him to Firmino, Defoe, King, Vardy, Chicarito - whoever emerges in a couple of weeks. » Read

    Good post bringing the numbers up, but agreed with Tim that the best part about Willian is that he's nailed on now » Read

    Look bud if you're posting about some closed league that is open only to people from a particular country, then it's most likely against the T&Cs of this site, if not the spirit of FFS. Also from your comment history it looks like you've posted it four times in the last day or so.Please refrain from posting about this, or alternatively make the league open to all comers. Cheers from a fellow Indian and user of this site who is against discrimination of all kinds. » Read

    Also Chelsea have an easy home fixture v. Burnley in GW1, so would get some cover. I don't want to nudge you in the direction of the template but I feel Willian at 7.0 is good value » Read

    Overall I like it, 9/10 for me. Some thoughts :- Not sure on the Kane+Alli double up, considering that they're moving to a new stadium and might take a while to settle. Would prefer Alli -> Coutinho/Salah/Mane or Gayle -> Firmino + Alli -> 7.0 mid. That way you get some Pool cover.- Is Monreal going to play LCB in Wenger's 3-4-3 with Kolasinac out wide ? In which case I think Monreal may not be good value. Also Arsenal have 2 tough away fixtures at Stoke & Liv. in GW 2 and 3. Would avoid Nacho for now I feel. Can't think of a good replacement though » Read

    Yep I do 🙂 Which is why I said "for a -4", which would mean :KdB + 4.5 striker + 0.5M -> Jesus + 4.5 mid » Read

    Any takers for this 4-4-2 team stacked with wingbacks and established attackers ?Foster Alonso Trippier Bertrand Daniels KdB Coutinho Willian Puncheon Lukaku KaneBench : T.Carroll 4.0 4.5 4.00.5 itB to swap KdB to Jesus for a -4 if he explodes in GW1 Puncheon is a placeholder for an emerging 4.5 in the first couple of weeks » Read

    I'm going for something very similar - think your draft looks good. Maybe one of the Pool options will emerge above other after the first couple of GWs - until then its a guessing game » Read

    Wanted an Arsenal & Palace attacker each, which option is better ?A. Lacazette & Puncheon B. Benteke & RamseyI'm currently leaning towards A because it gives me an extra captaincy options and having Lacazette from the off in case he explodes. But B is tempting too with Benteke being nailed on v. Huddersfield and Ramsey more threatening in Arsenal's 3-4-3Rest of my attack is :KdB Willian Tadic ____ Kane Lukaku ____Bench : T.Carroll » Read
