        BAE, Enrique, Vorm.. time to jump off em.. and when Mclean's 4.5 i dont see how ppl goin for sess over him with their bad fixtures.. you can bench mclean and play a very strong 11,, not true with sess.. with fixtures turnin i'll say sess's time is up.. apart from the goal Mclean was FAR more threatenin than sess yestrday

          I have been watching McClean to understand the hype - yep he looks extremely settled on the left wing now and very nailed on. Not a flash in the pan. A Sess > McClean downgrade may fund Ba in this week. But that's a gamble in itself.

        if not for that horrible bit of markin he would have been on 2.. had a very quiet last two games(EPL and FA).. i think with the fixtures stiffenin you doin the right thing.. in a few weeks there'll be a whole new crop of go to midfielders.. should'nt get attachjed

      If Sess stays up front I may keep for foreseeable future.

      Dempsey seems to have good run until April.

      What they do without Zamora may mean he also plays OOP aswell. Also means there is probably only Murphy ahead on penalties aswell now.

    On my WC would welcome some thoughts:

    Schwarzer / Sorenson

    Taiwo / Kompany / Kelly / ShawX / Simpson

    Moses / SWP / Bale / Dempsey / Silva

    RVP / Aguero / Ba

    My thinking behind this lot:

    Gk’s – good rotation, realise schwarzer is injured at the mo but don’t need him for GW24

    Def – only worry is having kelly and shawX means I’m doubling up on stoke and fulham defence but think it could work well

    Mids – don’t want the fab 5 due to playing 3-4-3, with cisse and zamora think SWP’s output will increase and QPR have good fixtures

    Fwds – pretty standard

        thought kelly was pretty nailed on now, and at 3.9 I think he's worth it - not sure on bridge as sunderlands fixtures aren't great and stoke have 3 home games coming up

    Bale scored the same amount as my whole team last week.
    I went five at the back 2 in midfield this week. I had a decent score pre-bonus.
    But I did not have all the bonuses from the flavour of the months midfield, I think there is a lesson in there somewhere!
    That Baines out Kompany in transfer is my main gripe this week, by far.
    Also, I wish I was clever enough to play Sinclair instead of Sturridge as many others seemed to do.
    When the scores are updated it will be a "threading water" gameweek for me.

      I don't recall a large number of people having the foresight to pick Sinclair - but kudos to those who did. There was precedent, Swansea are well known for being extremely strong at home. It just takes extra guts to include the big teams in this pattern.

      Hummed and haaaed whether to sell Walters or Sinclair for Sess last weekend, went Walters glad I did! Made 0.4m in a week on Sess and of course super Scotty notched, I had a hunch he might against his old team! 🙂

      Now had him since the gameweek 2 wildcard when I ditched Taarabt, think I'll keep him for the duration now...

    Hi newbie here, been reading your posts for a while and decided to join today.

    Dilemma I have is I want to bring in Kompany but which of my current defenders should I sell:-

    BAE / Enrique / JEvans / Simpson / Caulker

    Have £2.6M in the bank so can buy Kompany for any of these but when looking at the fixtures I'm not sure who should be sold.

    I remember the time when ppl in my minileague laughed at me for ownin Sess, choosin larsson etc over him, and i watched every game of his and thought he had potential.. after a not so flatterin first 15 weeks i let go though.. then the fireworks began and they've all taken him and pretend like he's their discovery.. i love the guy, but i aint goin back to him now 🙁

      its the same for me , but in case of Demba Ba. I had him in my original team (GW1) i even had him last season (West Ham) for a few weeks, but at the beginning of the season he was coming of the bench, getting early sub etc... so i sold him. next thing you know he start scoring, everyone in my leauge have bought him. now when they get rid couse of ACON and already used their WC ill bring him in first!

    Hard to imagine getting 83 points when you get 6 from 3 forwards to take me to top 40k, but I'll take it 😛 Now I just need to decide what to do with one transfer. Here's my team, any help would be appreciated

    1 FT, 3.5 in bank

    Krul, Vorm
    Cahill, JE, Simpson, Naylor, Huth
    Bale, Silva, Sess, Dempsey, Dyer
    RVP, Fletcher, Dzeko

    -Stick with Dzeko for a while or swap for Aguero and wipe out my extra funds?
    -Bring in Ba for Fletcher and/or swap Huth for a cheaper player/City defender?
    -Stick with Cahill or swap him out?

    The WC helped me tremendously with Sess and Dempsey, but I also seem to have a lot of dead weight now as well, so I'm trying to figure out whether to purge and take a hit or to slowly fix all of it.

      Great score. Cahill, Evans and Fletcher seem to be your weaker players. Based on starting places and fixtures. You could transfer Fletcher out and get Cisse, if you have the money. Or Cahill out Taiwo in. Taiwo is a dead ball specialist apparently.

      I'd say the only two things you should consider are no Huth (tough in-form teams/top 7 teams coming up) or Sturridge, but I'm guessing you have a soft spot/gut feeling on Sturridge so you don't really want to consider a replacement. If you didn't have three Newcastle players already, I'd say you might take a punt on Cisse and Ba 🙂

    With Krul being the keeper I definitely stick with for WC, do you think I should stick with Vorm (had him since day dot), or transfer Vorm out for Mig, banking 0.3 in the process?

    A: Stick with Krul / Vorm pairing as it's better for the shorter term and I could then always do Vorm > Linda, once he's back: VILLA NORWICH WOLVES SUNDERLAND Arsenal/City NORWICH

    B: Transfer Vorm out for Mig, as Sunderland have improved a lot under MON and it'll mean at least a home game every GW: VILLA ARSENAL WOLVES SUNDERLAND LIVERPOOL/Arsenal NORWICH

      Possibly, not many attractive options as far as a cheaper third striker goes, especially with Ba only just coming back.

        That's my thinking. Using wildcard and I'm not sure which way to go. Ba is class and definitely going to be the popular choice but Cisse isn't afraid to score either. QPR weren't overly impressive but I think Zamora will add a significant goal threat and Wolves are in a lot of trouble

    2 keeper peno saves on my bench in consecutive gameweeks...

    Goes nicely with my other trio of benched penalty saves this season... Ruddy (GW2), Foster (GW13) and Vorm (GW15).

    That's 5 in all thus far. I'm sorry, I can't seem to let this go. 🙁

      There have been a hell of a lot of pens missed this season, it is just unlucky. There's no way you can ever plan for that sort of thing
