Saturday Dugout Discussion

We’ve only about two hours of Premier League football today, but with 14 teams in action it may well prove eventful. The Dugout Discussion opens it’s doors as team news from today’s seven games roll in…

Chelsea XI: Cech, Ivanovic, Luiz, Terry, Cole, Mikel, Lampard, Sturridge, Mata, Kalou, Torres.

Everton XI: Howard, Hibbert, Jagielka, Heitinga, Baines, Osman, Gibson, Fellaini, Pienaar, Cahill, Jelavic.

West Brom XI: Foster, Jones, McAuley, Olsson, Ridgewell, Brunt, Andrews, Scharner, Tchoyi, Long, Odemwingie.

Tony Hibbert and Phil Jagielka come in for Everton, replacing Phil Neville and Johnny Heitinga.

Norwich XI: Ruddy, Ward, Whitbread, Ryan Bennett, Martin, Naughton, Fox, Surman, Howson, Hoolahan, Morison.

Danny Murphy and Bryan Ruiz return to the starting line-up for Martin Jol’s Fulham, whilst Norwich look set to play five at the back.

Man City XI: Hart, Richards, Toure, Kompany, Kolarov, Milner, De Jong, Toure Yaya, Silva, Balotelli, Dzeko.

Sunderland XI: Mignolet, Bardsley, Turner, Kilgallon, Colback, Larsson, Gardner, Cattermole, McClean, Sessegnon, Bendtner.

Vincent Kompany is back for Roberto Mancini’s side, and Matt Kilgallon and Jack Colback come in for the Black Cats.

QPR XI: Kenny, Onuoha, Ferdinand, Hill, Taiwo, Barton, Diakite, Derry, Taarabt, Mackie, Zamora.

Arsenal XI: Szczesny, Sagna, Koscielny, Vermaelen, Gibbs, Song, Arteta, Ramsey, Walcott, Rosicky, van Persie.

Laurent Koscielny is fit for the Gooners, and Aaron Ramsey replaces Gervinho. The hosts are without the suspended Djibril Cisse, and in comes Joey Barton.

Wigan XI: Al Habsi, Alcaraz, Caldwell, Figueroa, Boyce, McCarthy, McArthur, Beausejour, Moses, Di Santo, Maloney.

Stoke XI: Begovic, Wilkinson, Shawcross, Huth, Wilson, Pennant, Whitehead, Whelan, Etherington, Crouch, Walters.

Victor Moses is passed fit and starts for the home side, and Jermain Pennant in for Cameron Jerome is the only change for Stoke.

Bolton XI: Bogdan, Ricketts, Ream, Wheater, Alonso, Miyaichi, Mark Davies, Reo-Coker, Petrov, Klasnic, Ngog.

Rooney not a bad alternative. QPR was always going to be a tough one. I went Rooney (C) anyway as recommended... http://www.nevercaptainnickybutt.com/2012/03/a-fantasy-managers-dilemma-rvp-or-rooney-for-the-c-armband.html

ha not even close. Silva has taken a beating and had an ankle problem for the last 2 months. RVP had a huge chance against Aston Villa he missed and a huge one saved today by Kenny. Could easily have 2 in 2.

All in all-a shocker so far.

I knew Arsenal would flop-all the talk of them being unbeaten in the last seven was only setting them up for a fall.

Once again I find myself having to rely on Utd to bail me out of the gameweek.

On a positive note-the main man Fernando scored so the race for 3rd is well and truly on!
