Moneyball – Jason Puncheon

A successful 2011/12 promotion campaign saw Southampton rack up the goals as Nigel Adkins’ side finished second in the npower Championship. Having found the net 85 times last term, the Saints immediately placed Fantasy managers on alert and on the lookout for new blood for their squads. The most obvious and popular pick was Rickie Lambert who notched 25 goals in the Championship, while Adam Lallana and new arrivals Jay Rodriguez and later Gaston Ramirez have also been touted as potential Fantasy options. Even Morgan Schneiderlin – who had just two goals in almost 150 appearances coming into the season – has received some attention after his goal against Man United in Gameweek three.

    Thoughts on this 4pt hit

    Friedel, Berbatov > Mccarthy, Aguero

I wanted Aguero next week anywa and Friedel is a problem waiting to happen, Reading fans seem to think Mccarthy is number one now so he'll do for 3 weeks until i get Begovic in

Looks good to me, Aguero seems pretty much guaranteed to play this week and Utd have a great record v Spurs.

I suppose Aguero didn't score well away last season, but not sure how much to read into that.

I'm thinking of ditching Friedel to raise funds this w/e as well.

McCarthy will mean you'll have to address keeper situation again though - which you seem happy with.

Think Aguero is a great signing.

I find it wierd that everyone says Aguero is the key man and then says tevez will be rotated all the time, if that is the case then won't Aguero be the one more likely rested throughout the season for the Champions League matches as I thought that would just slightly be the priority. I think these last few gameweeks have muddied the water beacuse of Agueros injured but long term Id have thought tevez will play more premier league than aguero.

    Morning folks

I have 1 FT and £3.3 in the bank.

    What to do?
Was thinking of replacing Tevez? If so, to Suarez or Lambert?

    Foster, Begovic

    Baines, Davies, Demel, Cuellar, Gorkks

Fellaini, Cazorla, Michu, Yaya Toure, Guthrie

    Tevez, RVP, Fletcher

    Thank you

Ah right, I did misunderstand. His goals to games ratio is pretty damn good. I'm not upset that we sold him, didn't really fit into the quick passing, fast counter-attacking style, but he was decent.

I'm confident enough. He only missed 1 game with injury. Jelavic is far better than Anichibe.

Don't fancy it with the CL rotation. Jelly gives great fixtures and no stress.

Hi guys, does this team look right?

    Jaas (Green)
    Baines(C) Kompany Williams (Clyne) (Hangeland)
    Pienaar(VC) Haz Yaya Michu Maloney
    Tevez Torres.(Berbs)

Thinking of taking out Torres. Ba or Suarez? Or any better options?
Is my bench about right, and any other players I should be looking at transferring in?

the tevez nonsense has to stop..all 4 of citys strikers are going to be rotated because of the champions league (manicini knows his job is on the line if they fail to get out of group stage again) while tevez owners might be annoyed tomorrow, aguero owners could be equally frustrated for the sunderland fixture. so shipping tevez out now doesnt make much sense, particularly if its for a hit(also tevez has been citys best player this season, its not like mancini hasnt noticed that)

    Federici
    Cole Cuellar Zab
    Hazard Santi Barfa Michu
    Ba Podolski Tevez

With Berba out, i am definitely losing Tevez. Can't afford to have 2 strikers out.

On my wildcard and I'm 0.2 short of being able to do Berbatov > RVP (yes I had a lot in the bank). If only there was a good cheap midfielder who I could get who's 0.2 cheaper than Sterling......oh wait!
