The ScoutCast – Episode Eighty Three – Kids

The latest episode, created mid-afternoon today, was not recorded amidst a playground, although, at times, the background noise and smutty innuendo would suggest as much.

While the fruit of our loins play merrily in adjacent rooms, Granville and I retire to find some quiet and systematically pull apart another week of Fantasy football with all the usual regulars thrown in. Granville has a 22-point lead to show for his efforts, while I’m doing all I can to remain calm after what can best be described as a false start. The green arrows are coming. Surely they’re coming?

I only have Hazard and no City. If Hazard doesn't deliver against Norwich, then he'll be gone too. Not too fussed on not having cover from either at the moment, but will look to work in Aguero at some point.

Chelsea I can understand people not needing coverage for, Norwich at home is a great fixture. But Man City coverage? Must have I think. Their fixtures for the next 6 weeks are brilliant.

      Cheers lads,
just trying to decide which is more pressing,
go for Bale and keep Fletcher
or go for Defoe and keep Hazard,
its just for this GW as the WC will be activated after 11.30 tmr

He obviously has a 'system' he sticks to.

I played a prediction game a couple of years ago and quickly realised I was best off not trying to guess draws and just pick one of the teams to win. I did go for teams scoring more than 2 goals though 🙂

(I won the game by some distance, draws are for chumps 😉 )

If only he would realise that his 'system' doesn't work. It performs worse than chance, given that the celebrities are always ahead of him.

There will always be celebrities ahead of him as it is virtually impossible to maintain an average that competes with a celebrity having an excellent week. A fairer analysis is how often he wins his head to head.

As with all averages, celebrities having excellent weeks will be balanced out by celebrities having bad weeks.

But he doesn't do very well in his head to heads either. He loses more than he wins, I think.

Can't see it in that everything has gone through Cazorla and he's been brilliant, if not quite delivering the FPL returns you expect from an attacking midfielder.

But you're right in that Ramsey - and Wiltshire - may mean earlier substitutions and rotation around CL games.

I'm thinking of shipping for Bale or Mata

As Cazorla is always playing in the hole where he is most influential i cant see this being to the detriment of his potential even with Ramsey being back on 'form'. Personally ramsey is a shocker and always misses sitters, he gets way too much props for 1 good game for every 10 bad.

Bale or since u got Gerrard you could go for him. He'll have a party when Suarez wins a penalty

So far managed to resist having any Southampton players in my FPL team. May consider Lambert for this GW but feels so wrong! #AdkinsScum

No real change - Harper would have been playing anyway.

With Suarez scoring yesterday also, are people willing to believe that he is going to consistently produce results? Suarez has been a frustrating In FPL terms for last two seasons. Maybe he will be explosive this season?

Being Liverpools only striker, i can honestly see it happening, no risk of rotation at all and finally proving he is a finisher. Not being bias as a liverpool fan either haha

As expected, the Terry/Ferdinand report reinforces my opinion that both players are absolute muppets.
