Ghost Ship – a Fantasy Football team picked for the first Gameweek and then left to drift without a crew or rudder for the rest of the season. It would stand to reason that such a vessel would hit the rocks and sink without trace. Sometimes, however, they can navigate an unlikely route to glory.

Tell us about. This latest episode is a timely one given the time of year and it’s a “Ghost Ship” lineup, “managed” by the most unlikely member of the team to be up amongst the top ranks that takes up a good proportion of our time, leaving Granville and myself pondering the meaning of it all.

Around all that, we both manage to find the motivation to bring you the regular topics with the concept of “chasing points” coming under discussion, alongside “all aboard”, the weekend preview and a long tale of Granville’s injury list. Ouch.

        I still think he is not worth the money, but I like to move my Capitancy around. If you prefer having 1 solid option all the time than RVP is probably the way to go.

      I like both of those suggestions actually.

      If I can get Pie or Fellaini in for HBA and keep Rafael.

      I love the Tremmel suggestion, but when I need to upgrade a 4.0 mill GK, there isn't anywhere to go.

      A 9+ strike force isn't essential but it sure helps. It all depends on how consistent your midfielders are.

      That's my current strike force. It really does give you a lot of money to spend elsewhere on your team. However, I have to say I am not happy with Fletcher. Sunderland are doing nothing attacking wise. I am trying to figure out how to switch to Tevez (who is still incredibly good value)

        Yeah def won't bother with Walcott if he doesn't become a starter, instead I could triple up on United and go for Valencia + Young + VP. Valencia + Young is a lot more enticing than Mata + Walters imo.

    Good listen as always. One thing got me thinking is goals at the Hawthorns. Currently got Ridgewell starting and lallana on the bench. Could have Cameron starting, doubling on Stoke but how do I fit Lallana in? Hazard, Cazorla, Morrison, Michu, Rvp, Jelavic or Berba would have to make way. Any ideas or stick with WBA keeping Southampton out?

            No lie in that. It is actually to do with the concentration. If it were say, diluted down to what alcohol is in drinks it'd be much safer, at the moment it's a lot more concentrated and as such can do some awful stuff to regular users (1-5 cases of paranoid schizophrenia are regular users)

Out immune cell in the brain are possibly far too sensitive and trigger an immune response even when one isn't required, it can cause a lot of damage!

      Wicked. I saw that at a film festival in Spain as one of the only English speaking movies they screened and I really liked it. Sam L Jackson, John C Reilly. I tried to buy a copy for a mate's birthday but it was super expensive. I pretty much love all his films though. I could watch There Will Be Blood a hundred times.

    Got completely thrashed a 6-a-side today by a team that actually could pass the ball, play one twos et cetera. My entire team was dead on its feet by 40 minutes of 60 and they scored 21 goals, at least 7 of which nutmegged the defender or keeper.

    I can only begin to imagine how it feels to play Barcelona, United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Swansea...

            You know personally I think stoke are better for cs away to low scoring Norwich than Brom at home to mid table scoring Southampton. I'd play Bego over Foster. The rest looks solid then. Personally I would play Kolarov and see what happens. But that's me going for glory.

      I was in a terrible 5 a side team back along. When the ball was lost people seemed unable to run back and get behind the ball, teamwork is so important in 5-a-side, something we lacked 😀

        Erm that was the exact problem today! Two thought they were bloody Ronaldo and messi and rarely tracked back. It was 3/4 v 1/2 at the back and basically every time they got the ball in our half, they one-twod around the defenders and virtually walked it in.
