We just won’t let it lie. Having rinsed through the idea in this week’s Digest, the prospect of dropping this new breed of “in the hole” midfielders into a new Fantasy position gets another airing in this week’s ‘Cast. Granville agrees but we still somehow manage to argue about it.

Around that particular hot topic, there’s our usual brand of regulars, plus a preview of the two sides that lie in wait for us in the Fantasy Football Scout Cup and the latest on Ed’s team and his work on the new comments system. “Mr Ghostship” had a bad week – could it be all the attention has piled the pressure on his big coding shoulders?

      If it doesn't turn the rest of your team to utter sh*te, then go fir it. United have good fixtures coming up. However, RVP is enough for me as you can only captain one of them and RVP delivers more consistently.

    I've just logged on, haven't listened to the scoutcast yet. I have read the very interesting debate on the previous page and also the debate sparked by Paul in his Digest GW10 article regarding AMs/ DMs and all that jazz. It's all good stuff and merits the column inches it's getting, don't get me wrong.

    I'm sort of in the boring "sit on the fence category" myself. If FPL wants to go down this road, let them do it. They will want to gather more players into their game by making it more attractive, perhaps...so be it. We all adapted to the second wild card and we will all adapt, again, if these sort of muted changes do occur.

    My main hope is that Mark et al, at FFS won't drive an agenda forward without the the clear majority of FFS posters behind them. If a clear majority of people are for (or against) these proposed changes..that's fine. But I wouldn't want FFS to lobby FPL about these changes unless they (FFS) have a clear indication that the community agrees with them, one way or another.

    On another first world problem, I have lost my Sky remote control. We have three of the bloody things in the house and of course the other two don't work on the telly I want it to work on.

        Exactly the same here. That said, Villa don't normally get spanked at home, so I fancy a 0-2 or 1-2 scoreline in that game. Interesting to see what O'Neill does with Sunderland this week after coming out and saying they need to be more attacking. A gung-ho approach could make it a field day for Everton.

    Putting fixtures and yellow cards a side for now, is Tosey's big 3 up front really a bad idea? In the scoutcast it was widely discussed how Fellaini, Michu & Nolan offer fantastic value in midfield, this can enable a big 3 up front. Whats scary for me (being top 10k with the template team) is that it goes against the Mata, Caz, Bale, Ba, Berb players I own. I think its a very strong and scary differential especially as CL is all but wrapped up.

      I think selling one of Bale or Berbs is a good idea. (Either for Mata or Tevez) I don't think its worth getting both in for a hit however. The difficult question is which one to do this week?

    Good night all. Hopefully Ba gets the all clear from Pardew tomoro. If he's fit, Ive got a luverly team for GW11 and saving the FT. If he's out, it's a Guthrie -> Maloney switch.

    Ok can't decide & will no doubt pick the wrong option!!! RVP is coming in.... which combo is preferred:

    A. Bale & Pog/Rodreguez (Southhampton)

    or

    B. Suarez & Maloney

    If A which striker? Pog doesn't look nailed now nor Rod...

        Cheers Eddie. Feel bad losing Bale but only way to get RVP & he doesn't have the best fixtures.

          I'm keeping Bale though... If there is a way you can shoehorn RVP in without losing him, and without considering Pog to fill a striker spot, then do that.
