I see some people are skeptical about the term 'coverage' I understand its all about points and not simply getting a player from each team. But see the example below
Mata, Silva*, Pienaar, Fellaini, Sterling*
RVP, Tevez*, Suarez*
Mata, Bale, Cazorla, Fellaini, Sterling
RVP, Ba, Berbatov
Both teams are roughly the same value but i'd suggest the more balanced side with more 'cover' is the better side. Eggs and Baskets come to mind. So I'd therefore suggest that the concept of 'cover' is legitimateOpen Controls

You forget to add Fell & Piennar. Very few would triple up like this also.
You have a point covering 8 sides unless one/two sides are going really well & have great fixtures.

I can see the point to a degree. If you think 2 players are likely to score similar points at a similar price, then going for the player which you don't have one of their teammates would be the way to go, but that's about the extent of it.

I don't think having Suarez and Sterling is the same as having Tevez and Silva...
Having both Tevez and Silva is kinda ridiculous since they are both very pricey and will probably take points off each other...
If we look at Sterling in isolation and forget for minute that we have Suarez, can you see any better alternative for 5m, who is guaranteed 90mins in an attacking side?
Suarez is a big hitter for me now, and has great fixtures and his scoring well consistently, Sterling is merely a cheap 5th midfielder, not really the same thing IMO...
I look at it like this... front 7 should be all different teams, but the 8th is really the best you can get for that price, and Sterling fits the bill... it doesn't matter that you have Suarez...Open ControlsI agree to an extent that Sterling is not in the same boat as he will be on the bench nearly all the time anyway. However lets put it this way. I wouldn't get another United attacker if I already had RVP. Simply because they may take points off each other. Eg RVP + Valencia or RVP + Walcott. The way I see it, having Silva back in the mid or city increases the chances for points from tevez and aguero. They don't steal points from.each other. Aguero was a must last season when Silva was dictating the show. Would not mind having Silva and tevez/aguero in my team at all after yesterday's performance
