The key factor for a player to appear in this series is to have a visible (or at least perceived) flaw which we believe is either over-emphasised or could end in the coming weeks. We’ve highlighted Jason Puncheon who lacked guaranteed minutes but has shone since securing his place in the Southampton first team. Leon Osman’s ‘flaw’ is simply being unfashionable in a side full of more exciting options, yet he is nipping at the heels of the more fancied Steven Pienaar and even Nikica Jelavic in total points.

This week’s player has a number of such flaws, though most of them are of no concern to us. Adel Taarabt is the prototypical mercurial talent; equally happy playing the part of a sublime match winner as that of frustrating prospect, doomed to never align his end product with his obvious talent.

        Not so sure about a Mata blank although Rafa is playing more defensive is my concern (plus a slight feeling that he doesn't like Mata.) My biggest concern is Tevez, he can produce returns in most circumstances it's just gametime that is such an issue.

      Both look like good moves, as Suarez and Walcott could both score big.
      However, so could Mata and Tevez.
      If you're looking at the next few weeks rather than just this weekend, then yeah, can't argue with the changes

        Yeah I'm thinking this is a long term switch. I think all can score, my concern is Mata playing in a defensive team that are willing to rest him and Tevez competing with 3 other strikers. It's a toughie. Thanks Leeroyb 😀
