The Weekend Team News

Jose Enrique requires a late fitness test ahead of Liverpool’s home clash with Villa, though Brendan Rodgers reveals the left-back will return next week at the latest. Gareth Bale remains “very unlikely” to feature for Spurs against Swansea this Sunday according to Andre Villas-Boas. Nemanja Vidic is back in the United squad but Jonny Evans misses out with a hamstring injury for the visit of Sunderland.

Robert Mancini reckons Vincent Kompany has “a 2% chance” of shrugging off a groin problem in time for City’s trip to Newcastle. Olivier Giroud is back for Arsenal, though Arsene Wenger remains uncertain over Theo Walcott’s chances of making it for Monday’s trip to Reading.

Kevin Mirallas could be out for a few weeks after suffering a recurrence of his hamstring injury, Ben Foster returns to training ahead of West Brom’s Hawthorns showdown with West Ham, while Julio Cesar is “fit and available” for QPR’s London derby with Fulham.

We’ve collected all this in our team news section and added our current predicted lineups for the weekend ahead. You can keep in touch with the very latest via our twitter feed as always.

    A)Fletcher or B)Fellaini for first sub? Can see this being quite important as have Enrique and Bale, can't see both starting!

                  Yes there is. How many times have Reading failed to score at home? How many times have Arsenal kept a clean sheet in recent away games?

                  Stoke are good defensively but something's got to give sometime and Everton a lays score.

    Evening gents 🙂 Hope ye are all well! My dilemma is as follows, drop a line for me! Defence is in tatters: Enrique, Ridgewell, Clyne, Cuellar!

    A) Sessegnon -> Silva

    B) Fletcher -> Berba

    C) Fletcher -> Holt (Holt -> Berba in 2 weeks)

    D) Cuellar -> Caulker

    E) Both A & D, 4 point hit..

    it is one of the most difficult transfer decisions of the season for me.

    i have enrique, walcott, fletcher, cuellar to go but all the players i consider instead are injured, doubtful or no match. please help me considering the below situations..
    1) first of all, i think i will do nothing with defenders at the moment
    2) i should do dempsey-> bale once bale recovers
    3) i want to buy at least one of mata or torres for the next gw
    4) i want silva as city cover but if i do walcott->silva now, i wont be able to do 2) and 3) next week
    5) forgetting all above, i was just about to do walcott+fletcher->rooney+morrison for -4 but i just saw that rooney is ill.

    i am totally confused, maybe saving the transfer and making all the plans for gw18 would be better. what do you think?

    team atm:
    jaas
    enrique* cameron shorey
    walcott* dempsey michu fellaini sterling

    Lambert and Sess out, Kaca and Aguero in minus 4. Because anytime you can buy two rotation risks and pay 11 million for the 19th highest scoring forward in the game, you have to do it.
