The Weekend Team News

Jose Enrique requires a late fitness test ahead of Liverpool’s home clash with Villa, though Brendan Rodgers reveals the left-back will return next week at the latest. Gareth Bale remains “very unlikely” to feature for Spurs against Swansea this Sunday according to Andre Villas-Boas. Nemanja Vidic is back in the United squad but Jonny Evans misses out with a hamstring injury for the visit of Sunderland.

Robert Mancini reckons Vincent Kompany has “a 2% chance” of shrugging off a groin problem in time for City’s trip to Newcastle. Olivier Giroud is back for Arsenal, though Arsene Wenger remains uncertain over Theo Walcott’s chances of making it for Monday’s trip to Reading.

Kevin Mirallas could be out for a few weeks after suffering a recurrence of his hamstring injury, Ben Foster returns to training ahead of West Brom’s Hawthorns showdown with West Ham, while Julio Cesar is “fit and available” for QPR’s London derby with Fulham.

We’ve collected all this in our team news section and added our current predicted lineups for the weekend ahead. You can keep in touch with the very latest via our twitter feed as always.

My plan was Fletcher, Sess and Mata > Giroud, Walcott and a mid under 6.9m, but I have so many doubts like Bale and Ridgewell, and Walcott is a doubt, what transfers do I do?

    Teams linked by the way

    Thanks

I was thinking that, but I preferred his attacking potential over all of the other Arsenal mids, and he's a bit of a punt, should I go Santi?

      You're not alone.

I have Enrique & Bale and if we believe Sterling is being dropped to the bench, I have 3 players taking up my bench.

It's a tough GW for deciding transfers, that's for sure.

Giroud is unreliable so I'd say Tevez. Start Begovich, you will be sure to get at least some point via saves if he doesn't manage to keep a clean sheet.

Fletcher to Holt doesn't ring to right to me..if he was being kept for more than one week then fine but after this week fixtures are poor so using 2 transfers for it is suspect. Especially over x-mas when transfers will be needed more than ever....Could you shift him to Defoe? Or Long? those huys you could leave in there and would justify the hit if you really wanted to shift both this week..

hmm...I'd prob avoid the hit and just do option B so.

Could hold onto Fletcher for two week - Southampton could be profitable..Fletcher scored 7 of his 11 goals last season away from home and has already scored more away from home this season too...then just shift him to Berbs?

Fletcher could easily score more than Holt over next two games and would save 4 points??

Can't decide on a 6.5 Midfielder. What does everyone think?

Snoddy has form but i can sense it will be someone else to take the points at carrow road this weekend.

    Morrison has not got form.

Duff has two away games so cautious about that.

Already have suarez so sterling out of the picture

Why do you say Sterling out of the picture just because you have Suarez, it makes no sense, I have never really understood why people hate having several players from the same team. Liverpool's fixtures would justify having both of them (I have both).

If you've kept Baines for the last few GWs the there's no reason to get rid of him now.
Maybe Migs -> Szczesny in case Foster doesn't play or Shorey -> Sagna because Reading are fecked in terms of CS potential and Sagna has ust as much attacking potential as Shorey, if not more.
I like the prospects of Long and Berba, but I think Ramirez is dead weight. The only problem is, the only good replacements you could afford are already in your team. I would suggest a trade to Sterling and jump on the Chelsea train next week.

If it was up to me I would do Migs -> Szczesny.

Fletcher has been involved in over half of sunderlands goals

7 goals and 2 assists of 17 goals

If this continues for the rest of the season he will get 15 - 20 goals + some assists

i think after some thought he is a better long term pick than berb who yes plays well in most games but its not turning in to points

    Flethcher is clinical

True .. Until Ruiz comes back

Sunderland midfield is still lacking that creativity and control

I m just think of taking a hit as I don' have 11 players to play this week -
Nastasic or Clichy - on a long term ?

Also Defoe + Silva OR Ba + Dempsey (might move to Bale once he is back)

what do u say., Guys ??

You definitely don't want Ba with his upcoming fixtures. I'd go with Defoe + Silva. Nobody can predict Man City's long term players. After all, Mancini did decide to play Balotelli instead of Tevez in the derby.

Sorry, I missed a point here. Actually I already have Ba. I m just thinking whether I should keep him until next week against QPR or just take a hit for Defoe. and get Dempsey for this week to fill in for Spurs.
