Having indulged in the numbers behind the top ten individuals in Defence and Midfield, we end our series of articles for members by examining the top performers over the Christmas period amongst the forwards.
Just as Steven Gerrard dominated in the midfielders bracket over the Christmas period, Luis Suarez reigned supreme amongst the strikers. With five goals and two assists making him the most profitable forward on show, surpassing even Robin Van Persie’s FPL returns in the same window.
Do it next week when Suarez plays Norwich at Anfield, the team he loves to score against. A lot.

i suppose having 2.2 in the bank will be handy 🙂 my midfield is mata, michu, fellaini, bale and walcott so i cant really upgrade anything there.. and my defence has luiz and gibbs and i rotate shaw, demel and cuellar
I have decided to bench Walcott. Here's why:
Michu can score against anyone and he's playing a team that always concedes. He's actually undroppable;
Fellaini is at home, is always involved, and the Swansea defence hasn't been great;
Walcott is playing City who have improved defensively, he isn't guaranteed to play upfront, and, well, that's it. Actually, i'm no longer sure. Damn.
I still don't know. I think Michu and Walcott have very similar potential this week. I'm actually edging toward Walcott.

I really cant understand why there is no love for ruiz so cheap nailed on plus he hasent been getting many goals but he has had the chances and some decent goal keeping has stopped him.

He's a great 1st sub with a big midfield.
I calculated his PPG yesterday at over 5...impressive consistency. The question is, do you have the balls to have him as one of your front 3? If you aren't going to play him consistently, then it's not worth the extra $ over Pog.
It is 4.8 according to FPL. And:
Berbatov (with Ruiz [8 games]) 7.25
There is lots. I just think there are better options to fill that striker slot with,
Guess people are put off that he's OOP in reverse, as he basically plays in midfield. I think he's a good 3rd striker, if you're taking the 3-5-2 route... But then you'll miss all his points anyway
Is the rumor about Aguero being back in a week or two true?
I am on my WC and have brough in Dzeko as my third striker. I am playing 5 in midfield so Dzeko wont be in my starting XI unless I have injuries or a really good fixture.
Is worth bringing in Sturridge? or another Striker around the £7.3 M mark instead
