The ScoutCast – Episode Ninety Six – Changes

As we close on a century of episodes it was time to freshen things up and bring new voices to accompany my drone and that of grumpy Granville. In this weeks’ episode, we draft in both “Professor” Chris Atkinson and his “Rate My Team” computer, plus long-time community member and contributor, Jonty, for a new ScoutCast regular.

Don’t worry, the usual format remains intact although, having recorded this just minutes after last night’s whistles, Granville escapes the usual mini-league grilling. Not surprisingly, there’s plenty of “Granny’s miffed” to endure, plus “All Aboard” and the weekend preview. That’s’ rounded off by the “Full Jonty” a brand new feature that will bring you, the community, into our weekly ramblings.

      i'd nelsen in my GW 1 team and got widely ridiculed.

      think samba could do well though. harry only cares about harry, so i reckon he'd take 0-0s all the way, still get relegated but not look bad in the process. anything else is a bonus.

        I think he could be reasonably good. Probably one of the better players they could actually get on so short notice etc. But Samba for me is rather average and might not be as committed as Nelsen is.

        Nelsen would've been a QPR legend, but they would've needed both him and Samba to have a reasonably solid defence.

        Before Samba left Blackburn they had one of the very worst goals against record of the Premier League.
