The Big Numbers – Gameweek 27

With tomorrow night’s Upton Park clash to come, our ICT Index rankings are currently dominated by two Spanish playmakers as both Santi Cazorla and David Silva lead the way off the back of their match-winning contributions. With two-goal strikers Romelu Lukaku and Arouna Kone also pressing for recognition, our rankings reflect a Gameweek where the differential came good, leaving established Fantasy favourites falling short.

Our members can examine the numbers behind the Gameweek in full via the members area tables and match dashboards and, as always, we’ve picked out a selection of stats that have caught our eye…

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    Leagues Update

FPL Open : last qualifying spot @ 18,915th

    Elite 64 : last qualifying spot @ 1,177th

Millionaire Club : 35 is the current safety score, plenty in trouble needing Bale to save them.

I'm around 1,500000, what score do you think i'd need from Bale + Dawson to stay in? or is that a hard question

Leading the Millionaire Club & could be out this week, love it.

You would want at least 40 as autosubs & the last game will lift the average.

here would be mine off the top of my head
      1. Don't take -8 hits
      2. When in doubt captain RVP
      3. invest in offense over defense
      4. cheapie rotation > expensive keeper
      5. don't kneejerk except during first GWs (more price rises)
      6. scores > value
      7. make transfers as late as possible
      8. think ahead, but don't map out specific transfer plans
      9. those plans will never work out
      10. it's a marathon, not a spring

Sure yeah, you hit the jackpot there. But just saying oh well one time I got a hat-trick after a hit doesn't mean they are always a great idea.

no of course not. sometimes they're a bad idea. but I wouldn't advise against hits. you just need to be cautious with which hits you take.

gaz - repost from last page:

obviously it’s all a matter of perspective on how you define good county but I tend to think it is. it is a big country though so it’s a bit different depending where you are.

I’d definitely consider applying for a green card if you’re interested. what sort of work do you do? and any idea where in the country you might want to move to?

can also talk to TorresMagic about the U.S. from an outside perspective as he might move out here.

you want to live in the actual big city or are decent sized suburbs okay?

Seattle could be the place then. it's a pretty big city (not as big as LA or Chicago or NYC but still pretty big) and you can find reasonable priced housing, especially compared to the types of cities I mentioned before. people aren't judgmental, pretty nice in general (people say we have some of the nicest drivers)

weather is pretty moderate. temp usually ranges from 40-80F. usually around 40-50 from october through aprilish then it warms up over the summer. rains a fair bit but you get used to it as it's not heavy rain, its typically just a light drizzle

what sort of field do you work in? just out of curiosity

The dilemma is I have Ruiz, nani and rvp

    4.1 bank

    A) Ruiz > lambert

    B) nani > Michu/hazard

    C) rvp > aguero

    D) save

Who should be out for this week (pick one)?
    1. Onuoha - no more in starting lineup
    2. Pearce - no more in starting lineup
    3. Pucheon - no more in starting lineup
    4. RVP - possible blank for 2 weeks

6 is a fat lie! I transfered out Puncheon and Sturidge for Sissoko and Lambert this GW, and it paid off instantly. If I could add to your list, never take a hit for a defender DGWs inclusive. My mini league rivals took point hits to get in Enrique and Johnson last DGW and I still outscored them. Clean sheets are nothing but a gamble in this biz. It could easily be 4 points for 1 or 0.

But a hit for a DGW defender if it's in your long-term plans and to upgrade another player the following GW if it gives you extra funds is sometimes a beautiful thing.

Midfield looks good, you have at least three starters in defense, so perhaps you need to bring in Cisse for RVP for Newcastle cover for the next two weeks anyways. Then swap Rooney for RVP when he returns if you fancy.
