    Thoughts on this WC draft (numbers in brackets are my purchase price)?

    Plan would be to switch one of the cheapie defenders & Ozil -> Baines & Ramsey/Lallana in a few weeks.

    Szczesny(5.7), Davis
    Terry(6.0), Clyne(4.4), Ward(4.0), Chester(3.9), Rat
    Hazard, Ozil(9.9), Silva, Januzaj, Gnabry
    Aguero, Sturridge(9.1), Suarez (11.1)

      Personally i dont like the cheap backline - can you downgrade Szsceny (Mannone) and get Mertesacker or Koscielny?

        Yeah, I could switch Szcz/Clyne -> Boruc/Kos, but it'd cost me 0.2m more due to my cheaper purchase price. Kos is more likely to get BPs, but I think I'd rather start Szcz every week than Boruc. Rotating 4 cheapies can give decent fixtures most weeks.

          Yeah cool - can't argue with that.

          Rotate Januzaj and Gnabry through the midfield then?

            Yeah, at least for the next 3-4 weeks. If both start then fixtures are great - FUL, CAR, CPL, FUL. I'd only really be counting on Gnabry to start this week though as Januzaj has decent fixture for the 3 afterwards. Problem would be if neither played, but given Januzaj's form I think that's unlikely at the moment.

            Then once Ramsey is back fit I'd be looking at Ozil/Januzaj -> Ramsey/Lallana switch.

          Am I crazy for liking Sagna better than Kosc? I have Kosc on my team due to bonus points potential and a cheaper cost at the time, but Sagna is just far more dangerous attacking, imo.

            Definitely KOS over Sagna imo. Kos is more likely to get BPs than Sagna is to get assists.

      I say gnabry is a big risk but he is cheap and januzaj should play most games so I guess it is OK.

      If you intend to bring lallana in a few weeks, bear in mind his price is likely to continue to rise given his position in the dreamteam.

        Yeah, he looks a great pick but sun, ARS aren't the best fixtures for his next 2 games. Hoping to get 0.2m of his rises this week on my WC to at least limit the damage!

        Gnabry/Januzaj looks a great combo for the next 4 weeks. It's a risk though, as if neither starts I'd be looking to a weak bench. Like you said though, Januzaj at least should play most games given his form so it's a calculated risk.

      It's ok, although it looks like you have included Janu at the expense of a better 3rd defender which seems odd as he'll be on the bench with your set-up.
      How long is Tremmel gonna hold his spot?

    Time to get rid of Terry? MUN and mcy in the next 3 and he hasn't really been performing over the last 8 weeks - 4 shots, 0 goals, 0 assists and only 1 BP from the 4 CHE cleanies.

      I think the key words there are "4 chelsea cleanies"

      Mourinho has got them well oiled now. He generally becomes more of a goal threat when they need a goal (many of his goals are equalisers or winners when they get a bit gung ho) but this means when he doesn't get a CS he becomes more threatening - a nice compromise from an FPL perspective!

      I personally am keeping him and have had him since 6.0 too.

            Kos and Coleman look great shouts, especially if you got them cheap.

            I'm still a little wary of Azpil's gametime once Ivanovic is back. Cole has been playing very well of late.

      Swap keepers to Boruc/K.D to free up cash.
      I'd move Yaya to Hazard as Aguero should be back on pens and you have Negrado as City cover.

    This is my current team, not sure who I should be looking at ditching and who I should bring in (aguero is obvious but not sure about anyone else)

    Howard
    Sagna - Chester - Ward
    Silva - Oscar - Eriksen - Ozil
    Lukaku - Adebayor - Suarez(c)

    ------ Sterling - Ridgewell - B. Turner

    Is love to take a punt on Navas and fit Baines in some how. Suggestions?

    Any ideas to improve this WC team?
    1.6m in the bank.

    Boruc (Kelvin Davis)
    Baines, Koscielny, Kolarov, Ward (Chester)
    Hazard, SIlva, Ramsey (Ki, Colback)
    Aguero, Suarez, Jrod

      Is Ramsey fit? Your mid is pretty light given you are relying on him to start and you have jrod. Low team value?

    How about this for an uber defence?

    Bardsley, Clyne, Parr, Chester, Hudson - combined cost of 20.6m.

    Fixtures over the next 8 for the chosen 3 would be:

    GW22: STO, HUL, SOT
    GW23: HUL, STO, NEW
    GW24: NOR, ful, car
    GW25: STO, WBA, HUL
    GW26: AVL, hul, whu
    GW27: HUL, whu, TOT
    GW28: WBA, swa, avl
    GW29: FUL, STO, cpl

      I like the idea of going super cheap at the back, I''m bookmarking this.

      It'll be hard to separate from Coleman though...

        Yeah, the fixtures look nice, but Coleman and also quite a few oter premium defenders will really start to perform this second half of the season I believe. Will be hard to resist them then.

      Nice. I bought Coleman at 5mil though so couldn't comprehend selling him. 4 of those + Coleman maybe could be nice.

      If team value is high, though, it may not be necessary particularly with the likes of lallana, Ramsey, eriksen and cabaye offering alternatives to big hitting mids

    Best £3.9m defender other than Chester? Is it Hudson, Baker or Whitaker, or have I missed a hidden gem?

      Hudson might be a gem if Solskjær gives him the spot, too much uncertainty for my likings though. Same goes for Baker and Whitaker.

      Chester is still the pick of the bunch out of those four.

      Chester is no longer 3.9m. He rose last night.

      Probably Hudson now, although I can't see many Cardiff CSs.

    Anyone here who went for 4-3-3 on their WCs? Or are thinking of going 4-3-3? I know Absinthe and ENR are a bit interested. PPG for defenders is pretty good against those in the mid at the same price bracket.

    Mannone Daniels
    Coleman Merts Williams Chester Fonte
    Hazard Silva Gerrard Wilshere Cabaye
    Saurez Sturridge Lukaku

    Has already did a -4 this week should I go for a WC for this team or wait next week

    Daniels --> Boruc
    Merts --> Kosc
    Williams --> Kolarov
    Gerrard --> Erikson
    Cabaye --> Sidwell
    Lukaku --> Aguero

    What you guys think

      If team value is low, yes. But with a team value around 110, it is pretty hard to utilise the cash with a 4-3-3, especially given the likes of Chester, boruc and clyne offer such good value. To avoid them completely seems a shame

    If you have already drawn a plan for a WC team, why wait until next week?

    As I see it if you wait your team will cost more but waiting means you can assess injuries? I am not convinced I would get anyone in who has just been signed as this transfer window is so hit and miss.

      That's exactly the reason I don't want to start looking at a WC team.

      I do not want to go out of my way to get 1 permutation of team because I've had my eyes fixed on it. We are likely to have more info next week, more obstacles, and we'll be a little bit wiser.

      There's 2 reasons why I am holding on.

      1) my team looks good enough for this week and the amount of changes I made wouldn't be worth it with how the fixtures are lined up. City, Liverpool and Arsenal have home bankers

      2) waiting to see if there are any big transfers

        The later the better because will be more info available, even if Aguero starts against Cardiff, there are so many players that could cover him with Arsenal Liverpool both great home fixtures.
        Im gonna hold transfer for this week so can have 2 player punt when know gw23 lineups then wc gw24

      If you're happy with your current team I see the upside in waiting. The landscape could be different in 2 weeks and those who waited would be the the best spot to take advantage of that. If 1 hit could have fixed my problems I would have held off
