We turn to the Scout Picks and Differntials for inspiration as we look to get one over Paddy Power. Two of the top three midfielders in the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) game get our backing and we also put our faith in a born-again Fantasy talent now plying his trade on Humberside:

Our first match of interest is the KC encounter between Hull and West Brom tomorrow afternoon. Paddy are offering massive 50/1 for Nikica Jelavic to score two or more and the Tigers to keep a clean sheet – decent odds, given that very scenario occurred as recently as Gameweek 27 away to Cardiff. The Croatian has notched three times in his last five, whilst Steve Bruce’s side have kept out their opponents twice over that period and we’re willing to part company with £3 for this one.

On to the Etihad next, where Man City entertain basement-dwellers Fulham. This time around, Paddy are prepared to offer 16/5 on Yaya Toure to score and the hosts to register a clean sheet. The Ivorian has scored in three of his last five home appearances, and with Manuel Pellegrini’s side racking up three consecutive clean sheets, we’re willing to make this our bet of the week and hand Paddy £4 of our kitty.

Our final £3 goes on Liverpool’s trip to Cardiff. Paddy are offering 13/2 on Steven Gerrard to score and the Merseysiders to keep out Ole Gunner Solskjaer’s strugglers. The Reds skipper has scored four times in his last three road trips alone, and with Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge wreaking havoc up top, there’s always the likelihood of another spot-kick falling his way. Liverpool have registered back-to-back shut-outs, whilst their hosts have failed to score in six of Solskjaer’s 10 games in charge.

      No. Mainly because it would mean benching (or selling) one of Hazard or Ivan. For a start it wouldn't be worth a hit for a defender especially if it means benching Ivan.

      Benching Hazard might be the best bet as I anticipate a cagy affair in the Chelsea Arsenal game, there is a lot riding on it especially certain managers ego's. A or B would probably be the ones to go for but its just as viable to resist especially if you think Lallana is a better long term bet than his replacement.

        Yes, I think (c) could be ruled out as Ivan always look dangerous in the game.

        Nolan has been rated highly for this DGW with his home form. It made him very interesting acquisition for this DGW even with -4pts hit. But his fixtures will be bad after this DGW. I'm not sure if it's worth to sell him out right after this GW.

        It has been frustrating to own Lallana lately. He was subbed early and earned me 1 point so many times. But he has NEW, mci, CAR to come. His potential still ok.

      That defense is threadbare. Dummett may not get two games in the dgw and may be on the bench again after it with lousy fixtures to boot. You need playing defenders if you're going that cheap.

          AJ is the better long term bet though I'm sticking with Nolan. I banged Sissoko down to Livermore at 4.7 No glamour but it allows me to be strong elsewhere. Either way you have to do something

      Do you think Chelsea will get a clean sheet in a fairly cagy affair? if you do, then I'd go for Terry as he'd more than likely acquire a few bp's as well.

      However the flip side is that Dummett will get two bites at the cherry. However I wouldn't expect more than one clean sheet and I'd say he's less likely to get attacking returns over two GW's than Terry's one.

        True his team is not bad considering, but not too many more weeks to play WC. In truth, with a WC he'd be shipping out Snoddy, Lallana, Mata, Fonte and that's it, poss change collins/ward.

        He arguably should but not the best idea to start doing your WC at 4am Sat morning!
