There’s no getting away from it, Granville and I are nothing short of bitter middle aged, middle of the table Fantasy managers. This week’s ScoutCast is a vitriol-filled slab of double Gameweek failure, inspired by Yaya Toure’s relentless point scoring and our stubborn reluctance to recruit his talents.

Of course, in between skinning our sour grapes, Granville and I dabble with the podcast regulars, whilst responding to another round of community posers including a lookey-likey query that smiles kindly on my co-host and has me recounting the tale of my very own office doppleganger.

      I've got Smalling, Mirallas, Sterling and Silva all with question marks and yet - weirdly for a hit addict like myself - I'm going to save my FT!

      Silva > Nasri is tempting though. Good opportunity to swap horses if you were thinking about it anyway.

          Dunno. I'll see what the news is on Silva. If he's confirmed out for long then I'll probably do that. If it's just this week I'll hold onto Silva and ride my luck this week. Good pick though, and I always love Nasri. I started last season with him and he went ballistic for the first 2/3 weeks.

              I've got Silva and Yaya right now. I *think* I'm planning on Aguero, or at least laying the groundwork to make it possible to get him if he looks like a good call.

              If I finally decide not to get Kun, I'll get Demichellis instead.

      depends on your bench..if you have weak defensive replacement Change Evra...if not then Sterling to Eriksen..and wait on the Silva news..he was the best player against United I am sure Pellegrini would want him to start.

      If we get news on Aguero , this will be a huge help .
      We can shift funds around a little to suit , Pelle is normally good at press conf , so hopefully he will clear up silva / Aguero news

          Would rather have a dead 4th and play 4-3-3 myself. More value in defenders right now.

          Yaya, Hazard & Gerrard pick themselves to pick a 4th everyones just trying to find the best option.

          Where as I'm sure that there are more than 3 defenders you would want in your team every week!

    Most people seems to think Barkley won´t start.. but why? I agree he´s not 100% sure starter ofc, but I think its a pretty good chance. Yes I know RM has said he dont want to play him too much, but he have done it before.. GW 1-20 he started 17 games.. even at a tight schedule like 22/12, 26/12, 29/12 and 1/1 -14 he started all games. (GW 17-20)
    He´s obv in good form and surely have lots of confidence.. just the right time to play a young player and not bench him?

    With a slight risk of him being benched my move is a no brainer... Sterling -> Barkley this GW and save him for the DGW.

    It's interesting to see that the BBC has an article about who will win the league and not one of the experts predict Liverpool will finish higher than third.

    I tend to agree that City and Chelsea are more likely to win it, but why then does the BBC continually try and get Rodgers and the Liverpool players to talk up their chances of winning it when their own experts don't really believe they can win it?
