The Fantasy Football Scout Survey

With the weekend FA Cup matches providing another break in proceedings, we’re taking this opportunity to launch the Fantasy Football Scout survey.

This is long overdue.

While we’ve gathered some feedback in previous years, it was actually way back in 2010 when we last carried out a full survey of our readership and so much has changed since then.

We’ve tried to keep the 2017 iteration as brief as possible, while canvasing you on your views on the site, your likes and dislikes, your Fantasy Football habits and also a bit of background about you.

This feedback will provide us with a vital first step in shaping the future of the site. We’re currently in the process of restructuring the team and this involves hiring a full-time developer to work with Ed on taking the site forward.

We intend to open this up to our readers, using the survey to help schedule our priorities but coming to you to finalise our list of tasks. Crucially, once we’re underway, we want to report back regularly on progress and the changes to the roadmap.

Your input on this survey is a crucial first step. We hope you’ll take time to answer our questions and, where applicable, leave comments and feedback.

We will likely be leaving the survey open for up to a month and then, hopefully, we will get the opportunity to share the results and how this has impacted on our thinking for future development.

As an added incentive, those who complete the survey in full will have the opportunity to enter a draw to win a £100 Amazon voucher.

      Only negative to the site is it's god awful comments system, been on here since around 07/08 and it's the same confusing system that you had back in the day.

      Come on Mark, sort it out, you must be making a fortune now, no excuse to persist with it, it's impossible to engage in a good discussion, can't be hard to impliment a better system, look at Facebook, so much easier.

      Other than that, no real complaints.

          It's not even just the refresh for me, sometimes you'll reply to someone and it wi end up half way down the page nowhere near the comment you're replying to, very annoying and just makes me go back to Facebook half the time.

    Afternoon all,

    Going to wait until after this weekends fixtures but would appreciate any thoughts on what to do this week. I have 2FT's but i'd like to only use one so that i keep the other rolling over to deal with GW28. I can get 11 out but Holgate is id be looking to do one trasnfer to provide a bit more security of a full team

      I think you're playing it well. Best to wait and if you don't want to ditch Sanchez and Ibra that's probably the best transfer... although you haven't said how much you have in the bank

        Looks grand - keep Sanchez and get Maguire. Why waste two transfers - one taking him out, and one bringing him back, when your team is so strong?

          Isn't that an argument to ditch him though? As the only things I'd change are Pickford/Heaton --> Jaku and Amat --> Maguire... I have 3FT before GW28 and only 2 places I'd realistically spend a transfer so I have one spare... if my team was weak I'd perhaps have more pressing areas to spend the transfer? I could role one FT for GW29 I guess... it's a bit of a conundrum

            Hmm, mine just says "Manual: FFS Social League - Overall - 9th place" as an entry on the Transaction History. It was about 8 mins after I got the £10 credit for "Manual: FFS Social League - Round 4 winner". As I say, the only reason I am sceptical is that I was 9th after round 3 and finished 3rd at the weekend.

                I think it is best 3 from 4 as opposed to an average? My Week 2 score was pretty low (even in a low scoring week), about 160, so with best 3 from 4, I should drop that one.

          Fifa, Pes, Cricket. All sport kind of games, even those which I dont watch like baseball, nba, ufc, F1. Then FUT on regular basis and some small games likes Rapid 70, Su Doku etc etc....

          Mobile is filled with games only, nothing else 😛

      Really want to use Ibra and Sanchez in 27 and hold on to making any big transfers before knowing all FA cup results.
