Eliteserien Fantasy- A New Game From the Developers of FPL

Did you think your summer would be dull without fantasy football? Fear not. The developers of Fantasy Premier League have launched a brand new game called Eliteserien Fantasy.

The game will feature the Norwegian top divison. The site is currently only in Norwegian but it is fairly easy to register and use if you are used to FPL.

The concept and rules are the same as FPL, the only differences being no chips and there’s a  ‘man in the stand’  for bonus points.

The season will have 30 Gameweeks between April and November. A third of the season will be played during the off-season in FPL so this game could soften the summer blow for Fantasy Footy junkies.

Already 58 players have  joined the FFS league, including FPL legend Ville Rönkä. The league code is: 3769-1041

In this article I will take a look at the 16 teams and the players to keep an eye on.

Rosenborg

Having won ‘the double’ two seasons in a row, there is no doubt who is the gigantic fish in this pond. Both league titles have been comfortable with a tally of 69 points, an average of staggering 2.3 points per game. The Rosenborg domination is set to continue with the acquisition of Nicklas Bendtner (12.5). Not only is the insane Dane the most expensive player in the game, he currently also sits in over half the teams.

Mixed results and a few injuries during the pre season, there remains uncertainty around the form of their key players. Rosenborg meet Brann in a face off between last year’s top two teams on March 29. This may give us some answers, or pose more questions as it will be the first of four games Rosenborg play in 10 days. This fixture congestion could be a good reason to overlook the pricey Bendtner for now.

Top 3 targets: Mike Jensen (10.5 MID), Fredrik Midtsjo (8.5 MID), Nicklas Bendtner (12.5 FWD)

Brann

After a shock relegation despite being title contenders in 2014, Brann bounced straight back up the following year. They used that momentum and enjoyed a successful return to the top division, eventually finishing second. Brann’s excellent defence is expected to do well this season as well, especially as Piotr Leciejewski (5.5) might be the best goalkeeper in the league. Early investment in Brann players could pay dividends as their opening few fixtures seem favourable.

Top 3 targets: Fredrik Haugen (9.0 MID), Vito Wormgoor (5.5 DEF), Torgeir Børven (9.0 FWD)

Odd

Starting last season with six consecutive clean sheets, Odd laid the foundations for what turned out to be a third place finish and Europa League qualification. The last 24 games only saw three additional clean sheets but Odd will nonetheless provide excellent defensive options. Espen Ruud (6.5) might prove to be the most essential player in the game. To go along with his nine clean sheets, the right back also managed five goals and eight assists last season.

Top 3 targets: Espen Ruud (6.5 DEF), Fredrik Nordkvelle (9.0 MID), Sondre Rossbach (5.5 GK)

Haugesund

Expect the unexpected when Haugesund are playing. One season they battle for the Europa League places, the next they fight for survival. Given they finished fourth last season, this year their assets may be best avoided! Defensively Haugesund are not much to write home about. Their midfielders have to bear the burden if they are to replicate last year’s form.

Top 3 targets: Haris Hajradinovic (7.5 MID), Erik Huseklepp (8.5 MID), Ibrahim Shuaibu (5.0 FWD)

Molde

Ole Gunnar Solskjær’s second period as Molde manager has failed to reach the heights of his first stint at the club thus far. Back then he led Molde to back-to-back titles, whilst his latest reign has resulted in 6th and 5th placed finishes. With a wealth of options in every position, picking the right Molde players could be a minefield. Solskjær’s preferred tactic seems to be resting players from time to time. Heavy investment in Molde’s assets is probably best avoided to start with.

Top 3 targets: Bjorn Sigurdarson (9.0 FWD), Sander Svendsen (8.5 MID), Mattias Mostrom (6.5 MID)

Sarpsborg

A stable mid table team for the last couple of seasons, Sarpsborg normally go about their business quietly. They do not concede many but they do not score that many either. In fact, their most prolific attacker finished 40th in terms of attacking returns last season. Big things are therefore expected of the attacking minded Krepin Diatta (6.0), an easy on the eye Senegalese U20 international who arrived last month. A Sarpsborg defender could be a must have as they managed 13 clean sheets in the last campaign, with nine of them coming on home soil.

Top 3 targets: Krepin Diatta (6.0 MID), Sigurd Rosted (5.5 DEF), Jonas Lindberg (5.5 FWD)

Strømsgodset

After being a top side since the beginning of the decade, Strømsgodset found themselves finishing mid table last season. They produce fluent attacking play and are a joy to watch, especially at home. Jonathan Parr (6.0) provides us with a potential OOP option. Listed as a defender, the former Crystal Palace and Ipswich left back played a lot on the left wing last autumn. The signing of the experienced left back Stian Ringstad (5.5) could mean a permanent shift to the wing for Parr.

Top 3 targets: Jonathan Parr (6.0 DEF), Marcus Pedersen (10.5 FWD), Lars Vilsvik (6.0 DEF)

Viking

There is not much buzz around Viking at the moment. Kwesi Appiah (7.0) has been signed on loan from Crystal Palace. Despite only being 26, this will be the striker’s sixteenth club in his senior career. Whether he can settle in and finally make it count remains to be seen. With an unfavourable set of fixtures to start the season, overlooking Viking options for the opening might be the best solution.

Top 3 targets: Kwesi Appiah (7.0 FWD), Julian Ryerson (4.5 DEF) Samuel Adegbenro (7.5 MID)

Aalesund

Highest goalscorer from last season still in the league this term is Mos (8.5). He will undoubtably be key this year as well but he is not the only threat Aalesund pose. Most of their goals in the pre season have come from set pieces. Centre back Mantyla has scored three goals without even starting a game but it is another centre back stealing the limelight. Daniel Gretarsson (5.0) has also scored three goals from his four starts this winter. However, Aalesund do concede a lot of goals so any defensive investment has to be purely because of their set piece threat.

Top 3 targets: Mos (8.5 FWD), Edwin Gyasi (7.5 MID), Daniel Gretarsson (5.0 DEF)

Vålerenga

Being the only representation from the capital, Vålerenga have failed to live up to expectations for a good few years. This season they have hired the services of former Celtic manager Ronny Deila. An attacking minded leader, Deila made his name at Strømsgodset where he took the team to league glory in 2013. After years of struggle to get permission and finances to build their own stadium on their side of the city, Vålerenga will finally be moving to their new home mid season. This will likely give them a solid boost throughout the season.

Top 3 targets: Ghayas Zahid (10.5 MID), Mohammed Abdellaoue (9.5 FWD), Markus Nakkim (5.0 DEF)

Sogndal

Gilbert Koomson (7.5) was the only assister in the league to reach double figures last season. However, that is a steep price tag for a player in a team that most likely will be in for a relegation battle. Sogndal had a good defence last season but the latest results in pre season do not exactly look encouraging. Still, if they can replicate some of that defensive form then they have several decent budget options in their team.

Top 3 targets: Matias Dyngeland (4.5 GK), Bjørn Utvik (4.5 DEF), Gilbert Koomson (7.5 MID)

Lillestrøm

Celebrating their 100 years anniversary, Lillestrøm will be hoping they avoid the dogfight this time around. They were dead and buried with five games to play but managed to survive by collecting 11 points from those games. Most of the players are very generously priced, probably reflected by last year’s finish. Lillestrøm should be competing for a place in the upper half of the table. If they manage to do that then there are a few potential bargains in their squad. Daniel Fernandes (4.0) has impressed in pre season, if he can nail done a starting spot then that provides us with an excellent budget goalkeeper.

Top 3 targets: Daniel Fernandes (4.0 GK), Bajram Ajeti (6.5 FWD), Chigozie Udoji (6.0 MID)

Tromsø

Defensively Tromsø are not a good unit. The onus will be on their attacking play. People will recognise Morten Gamst Pedersen (5.5) from his time at Blackburn. After struggling with injuries last season, the set piece specialist is set to claim a place in the centre of midfield. Some calmness in the middle of the park may be exactly what Tromsø need as their passing accuracy of 68.7 % was the worst in the league.

Top 3 targets: Aron Sigurdarson (6.5 MID), Sloboan Vuk (7.0 FWD), Morten Gamst Pedersen (5.5 MID)

Stabæk

Stabæk were favourites to go down in 2015 but thanks to the heroics of Bob Bradley they managed to finish third. During that summer they lost top scorer Adama Diomande to Hull, whilst Bradley left before the 2016 season. Stabæk barely recovered from those losses and somehow just about managed to survive. They are in for another tough season but they do have a couple of cheap prospects to keep an eye on.

Top 3 targets: Moussa Njie (5.5 MID), Luc Kassi (6.0 MID), Hanche-Olsen (4.5 DEF)

Kristiansund

Thirteen years after the club was formed, Kristiansund won the second tier and gained promotion to the top division for the first time. The promotion campaign was thanks to a good defence and a red hot striker. Daouda Bamba (6.5) scored 20 and assisted twice in 28 games. The Ivorian is young and fearless, and is sure to be amongst the goals also in this league.

Top 3 targets: Daouda Bamba (6.5 FWD), Aliou Coly (4.5 DEF), Sean McDermott (4.0 GK)

Sandefjord

Also gaining promotion prior to this season, Sandefjord are favourites to go straight back down. Genuine fantasy options are therefore far and few between, however they might provide a couple of bench fodder options. Seven defeats and no clean sheets in nine pre season games tells they are in for a very rough ride.

Top 3 targets: Erik Mjelde (6.0 MID), Andre Sødlund (4.5 MID), Flamur Kastrati (6.0 FWD)

Danielsen is penalty taker for Viking and have freekicks and corners, but have a tendency to pick up cards and plays in central midfield. Sigurdarson (Tromsø) probably better value, for instance.

Midfield is spectacular, but keep in mind that Helland is quite injury prone. Maybe too much with both Helland and Mitdsjø, but could work out well. Could Dyngeland instead of McDermott be an option? Both him and Coly is playing for a team that will concede a lot. Same goes for Ryerson and Moe, so perhaps Amundsen (LSK) for one of them? Attack is good. Pedersen a little bit pricey but is a good option.

      Good luck

    What would you prioritise?

    A) Nordkvelle (no other Odd attacker)
    B) Zahid (already have Moa)

    Currently on A

Zahid for GW1, since Nordkvelle is playing away vs. Rosenborg

B would have got more G/A points 3 years in a row.

Yeh, only diference you'll find is the lack of chips (and how bonus points are given).

You'll want to be johnny-on-the-spot with your transfers though, price changes will be more prominent with so many fewer managers in play.

Thanks. Don't really like the chips anyway. Back in the day...
Good point on transfers/managers. Will be interesting to see how they deal with that.

Bonus points given by experts, so a little bit more random in a way, but that means also that it could be players that normally don´t get points in FPL has a better chance, for example a player in the mould of Kanté has better chance of getting points. Let´s say a defensive midfielder is absolutely dominating a game but is lacking goal involvement as in assist or goal he could very well collect 3 bonus point. And we often see that a forward who doesn´t do anything besides scoring, gets bonus, that isn´t necessary been given. Hope that it clearing it up a little

The teams in Eliteserien have their trainings open for the public, so the lineups isn't as secret prior to the gameweek as it is in the Premier League.

A few lineups I've managed to pick up from people that have been at the training and from people with knowledge within the clubs (of course there might be changes, but unlikely IMO)

            Molde

            Linde
            Remmer - Gregersen - Gabrielsen - K. Rindarøy
            Strand - Hestad - Sarr - Brustad
            Svendsen - Sigurdarson

            Odd

            Rossbach
            Ruud - Hagen - Semb - Grøgaard
Berg - Oldrup Jensen - Nordkvelle
            Zekhnini - Occean - Riski

            Lillestrøm

            Fernandes
Megalvis - Kind Bendiksen - Amundsen - Haakestad
            Knudzon - Matthew - Krogstad - Rafn
            Ajeti - Malec

            Kristiansund

McDermott, Coly, Bamba (only 3 you would want from that team) all starting. Stokke starting as well. Lekaj likely to be benched, Sørli (4.5) might get a start.

Will post if I find more info.

Erton and Diatta have got permission to play this weekend as well, but not likely to start I think.

Do you think 4-4-2 is viable Niemi? I looked at the spreadsheet and defenders were scoring very well, plenty of goals and assists from them.

Yes, but basically everyone at Molde is prone to rotation. I'm taking the risk though with Svendsen.

Megalvis probably the best pick. 6g3a from 28 matches last year and 2g5a from 30 matches in 2015. Not in Eliteserien though, but in OBOS ligaen (second tier).

Haakenstad came from the third tier in Norway, so I don't have a lot of stats on him. Apparently scored 4 goals last year, but I don't know in how many matches (and number of assists).

Both unproven in Eliteserien, but supposedly attacking full backs. Not sure how attacking Lillestrøm will allow their full backs to be.

Amundsen stays back at corners I've heard, while Mikalsen (5.0) goes up.

Yeah I read your previous comments, so had a look into them. Problem for me is doubling-up with Fernandes, otherwise could make okish rotation with another cheap def (to use money elsewhere, like on a mid playing upfront).

Yeah, I'm not doubling up as I have Fernandes as well. Might get one of them later if they prove they are actually able to keep a clean sheet.

Look above for the Molde xi and Toivio. One of the few players I know. Great on free kicks, but defensively being a bit shaky recently and hasn't played much for Molde in pre-season. Gytkjaer is the brother of last season's top scorer, only popular in the game because of that. Granli won't play. No idea about the bench also.

Going with 3 Odd and 1 Rosenborg looks like madness, but if the upset will happen, it's week 1. Long term 3 Odd could be great, but 1 RBK not so much.

Cheers, I appreciate it a lot. I changed to Fernandes.

Which Rosenborg attacker should I get? Bendtner may be rotated and I heard Helland had been injured a lot in pre season...

Midstjo is the value pick. How much goal involvement he'll have remains to be seen. Bendtner will score loads if he stays fit. Helland is capable of hat tricks (last year cup final), but both have question marks above to them right now. A lot of wildcards will be played by those who have only gone Midstjo and Hedestand when RBK start really firing if there is no easy route through transfers.

Probably the only one. Defensive midfielder for a team predicted to end up at the bottom.

Sørli for Kristiansund might start, but not nailed. Kristiansund also predicted to go down, but at least Sørli is a winger.

Nothing too bad that sticks out. Vilsvik is preferred to Parr due to him having more competition and not being very likely to be OOP. Also benching Koomson who is on all set pieces is not ideal.

Tempted by Riski at 7.0. Apparently he's been looking very good in pre-season and could be back at his best. 3 goals in 6 games (possibly some assists too and "man of the match" awards by fans/bloggers). He was producing very good numbers a couple of years ago.

                  2012 - 10g4a in 26 for Hønefoss (13th in the table)
                  2013 - 10g6a in 29 for Hønefoss (16th and relegated)
                  2014 - 8g5a in 29 for Rosenborg
                  2015 - 1g1a in 16 (only 8 starts) for Rosenborg
Loaned to Djurgården in Sweden (11 games, 7 starts, 1g3a) and didn't do well. Loaned to Dundee United and only got 1 start.
Sold to Odd last summer and got 0g1a in 14 (12 starts). Didn't look good.

Downside: He is a starter, but could face some competition from Diouf (who's also been decent in pre-season) and Zekhnini (maybe even Agdestein). Only room for two of them in the starting XI.

Very much a confidence player. When he's not on it he'll miss a lot of big chances and gets dropped. If he plays well and gets regular game time he's a bargain. Think we can wait and see on him.

Olsen Solberg playing for the worst team (most likely). Ryerson not in the starting XI, but might be OOP if he get a game. I'd say Megalvis at Lillestrøm, Utvik at Sogndal, Norbye at Tromsø and Coly at Kristiansund all better picks. I'd chose Megalvis, but you probably have Fernandes as a GK so you have to decide if a double up is something you want.

Some good options at FK Haugesund. I've been talking about Shuaibu for a while and after looking into FK Haugesunds preseason he has scored 4 goals and at least 1 assist (it's barely mentioned who assisted the goals) in 5 or 6 starts. Hajradinovic and Huseklepp has scored 3 goals each, probably around the same number of starts. Huseklepp has played both as a winger and striker. If he can nail down a starting spot as a striker he could prove to be good value, 8.5 as a winger is too much IMO. Hajradinovic at 7.5 could also be great.

Too bad their fixtures are pretty bad to start with. I'm going with Shuaibu only as he's great value at 5.0.

Hajradinovic has barely been mentioned, but is as good of a pick as Koomson and Adegbenro at the same price. Apparently been on good form in preseason. Very good long shots, dangerous from free kicks as well.

It's good that you're bringing different names up. When most of us are not very knowledgeable about Eliteserien it can easily lead to the same players being recommended to everyone.

Don't know why Hajradinovic is being overlooked really. Only 4.3% owned compared to 10.6% Koomson and 13.3% Adegbenro

Hajradinovic - 4g7a in 27 last year. 7g3a in 19 and 6g4a in 24 in Slovakian (?) league, so he certainly is a point scoring player.

Adegbenro - 3g1a in 28 last year. 5g6a in 24. Expected to get his big break through this year and get sold in the summer. Lots of doubts about Viking though.

Koomson - 3g10a in 28 last year. Played in Thai League before that, apparently scored 14 goals in 50 matches. No clue on assists and how good the league is.

True, but Eliteserien can be a bit random at times and it's even more a case of form over fixtures than in FPL IMO. It also doesn't stop people from buying Adegbenro and he has worse stats from the previous years (although he is kind of hyped and expected to do better this year).

Good team. Svendsen looks to be starting this week at least, but Ole loves to rotate his team so keep an eye on him. I'd personally do Helland > Midtsjo. The former is injury prone and Midtsjo is a cheaper alternative and a good pick anyway. Then use that cash to upgrade Svendsen?

I don't think so. Attacking coverage is probably not as important in a game like this where defenders can easily outscore midfielders and strikers. Not that I'm a huge believer in coverage anyway...

While it is true that defenders are more capable of outscoring many attacking players in this league due to the dominance of some teams and the attacking potential on offer, the stats are slightly skewed as attacking players who have played well in other seasons have been sold during the summer window, leaving the defenders to keep going. But don't get me wrong, defenders are up there in this league. I just feel like I need one of Odd's attackers as their one of the dominant teams, it seems a logical strategy.

I think defender outscoring many attacking players comes down to this:

                        1. Many teams have attacking full backs and full backs on set pieces.
                        2. Good attacking players are often sold during the summer.
                        3. Lack of big names and dominant players
                        4. Some of the best teams rotate their team a lot, especially the attacking players
                        5. 2016 was an off year for attackers. Previous years I don't think many defenders (besides Ruud and Vilsvik) would have outscored the best attacking players. (I'M NOT 100% SURE ON THIS)

Not that important. 6 teams scored the same amount or more goals than Odd last year (out of 15). Nordkvelle and Occean expensive, Zeknini a tad expensive as well (but could be worth it). Monitor Riski (and maybe Diouf). I'm not getting any, but will probably bring someone in after a couple of gameweeks.

Good team overall. 352, right? I've highlighted my thoughts on Svendsen somewhere above. Is Skaasheim nailed? Maybe consider another defender instead of Lunstrom for 5.5? Could be a good pick as he's very attacking but they are an attack minded team so you'd be banking on them improving their defence. But like I said, could be worth it.

                      McDermott/Komsoon/Skaasheim/Moe

Not sure about Skaasheim, but he is cheap (4,0) and he played their last game on the RB. Agree with you about Lundstrøm, He is in my team because of his attacking qualities. Been really impressive in Vålerengas pre season. Svendsen is a bit of a risk but he is OOP and will surely start tomorrow as a striker.

Fair points. I wouldn't want to bench Koomson when he's on pens and all set-pieces and you might not have an alternative to bench

Skaasheim won´t get games. Do Krogstad to Njie and take Utvik in for Skaasheim. Lundstrøm not worth the price, find money for Vilsvik, (9 goalpoints last season).

Small comparison of mids' G & A season points stats (just Eliteserien data - where player has 2 seasons I've averaged otherwise just 1).

                    1) Njie: PPkr 6.36, PPG 0.29
                    2) Koomson: PPkr 6.00, PPG 0.21
                    3) Zahid: PPkr 5.14, PPG 0.18
                    4) Svendsen: PPkr 4.76, PPG 0.19
                    5) Sigurdarson: PPkr 4.62, PPG 0.19

Doesn't account for any cs points, but does that order of value for money feel roughly right?

                        * PPG is actually PPG/Price. And Sigurdarson's should be 0.24

Sigurdarson started 12 matches and subbed in 12 times. Svendsen started 14 matches and subbed in 12 times. The other players started pretty much every match they played in. Sigurdarson should start pretty much every match this year if he's injury free, Svendsen could be rotated often depending on form.

Thanks. I'm basically trying to decide whether I can lose Zahid for Svendsen OOP if I have Moa. Also improves defence a lot (Vilsvik) so may just do it and hope.

Some help here would be much appreciated.

                          Dyngeland Fernandez
                          Ruud Wormgoor Ryerson Norbye Granli

Bnedtner Abdellaoue Lindberg (due to price, no idea if he is any good)

                          1 million in the bank.

                          Thoughts?

                            - Do Helland > Midtsjo and then upgrade Mostrom/Njie.
Helland is injury prone and Midtsjo is a good option in his own right. Wouldn't want Mostrom as Ole loves to rotate his players so avoid them for now.
                            - Granli > Moe, he's more nailed and the same team and price
                            - Ryerson isn;t 100% nailed and has bad fixtures anyway. Utvik plays for a solid defence and has good fixtures to start with

Granli out for Moe, who is the one in the Stabæk team who plays, also on some set pieces, Kristiansen for Wormgoor, he´s on set pieces aswell, Lindberg out for maybe Shuaibu and improve the midfield

I looked into previous 3 years.

In 2016 3 defenders got more than 10 goal points - Ruud, Stølås and Svensson (Vilsvik on 9). 21 midfielders and attacker got more than 10 goal points.

In 2015 4 defenders got more than 10 goal points - Ruud, Vilsvik, Flo and Danielsen (4 penalty goals). 41 attackers and midfielders got at least 10 goal points.

In 2014 2 defenders got more than 10 goal points - Flo and Kronberg (but he a lot as a winger as well) - 38 attackers and midfielders got at least 10 goal points.

To me it seems like the biggest difference is 2016 was an off year for attackers and midfielders. I'd say get Vilsvik, Ruud and Hedenstad as we expect good attacking returns from them and possibly a good chuck of clean sheets. It's viable to play 4 at the back when you got at least 3 defender who are expected to get good attacking returns in the top teams. Lundstrøm might be the perfect 4th defender if you are willing to invest.

I've currently got Utvik as my 4th defender. Happy enough for his price and their decently solid defence.

He is good enough as a 4th defender, but I'd prefer playing 3-4-3 or 3-5-2 instead of 4 at the back with Utvik playing every week.

He is 1.82 (6"0) so I wouldn't say he's a big man. I'm not saying he's a bad pick, just wouldn't play him week in week out. If I remember right you have Shuaibu? You can play him most weeks IMO (as long as he keeps his place).

Really, I was thinking to play Utvik most weeks and rotate for Shuaibu whenever Utvik has a bad fixture. I though Shuaibu was unlikely enough to score that I could keep him on bench?

FK Haugesund always score goals and if he's starting he'll score I'm pretty sure. Only Rosenborh and Molde scored more goals last year (Molde scored 1 more)

Albeck expected to start, but not nailed so keep an eye. My thoughts on Svendsen are highlighted above somewhere. Riski is a risky pick 😉 as they have tough initial fixtures. Granli to Moe as he's more nailed and the same price. Everything else looks fine

That's not true. He's a starter right now and he's been great in preseason. According to Fagermo he is first choice winger now, ahead of Zekhnini and Diouf.

He was on the bench all season last year. Zekhini is one of the stars in the league, Riski could easily be replaced if he has a bad game

No, they bought him in the summer (midseason) and he played most matches. Competing with Diouf and (and maybe Agdestein, but he's a striker).

Brann going to do better defensively than Sarpsborg this season apparently. Sarpsborg overachieved last season is what I heard and don't look like replicating their form from last season

I would go for Kristiansen at Brann for the same price, offensive and he´s on corners, where Brann are really strong

Tempted to bench Ruud for Njie or Shuiabu. Only match the whole season where I would consider benching Ruud.

Odd 6.5 to keep a clean sheet.
                          Njie 3.5 to score.

But they play against Rosenborg. No other team has lower odds to win in gameweek 1 than Rosenborg (or higher odds than Odd).

Rosenborg is a cocky team and they often forget to defend at home. Odd could easily get 1 or 2 goals here.

                            A) Nordkvelle (no other Odd attackers)
                            B) Zahid (have Moa)

Consensus the last time I posted was B

One of Moa or Zahid is enough. Personlly I have Moa. I think your good to go with Ruud from Odd. Maybe one more. How is the rest of your midfield?

Current midfield is: Nordkvelle - Midtsjo - Koomson - Sigurdarson - (Valles). I'm leaning towards doubling up with Zahid and Moa as they are one of the best attacking teams, Odd are average in attack, the GW1 fixture and I can easily downgrade Zahid if it doesn't work. Thoughts?

                                Other questions:
                                - Is Valles nailed? Who at 4.5 is?
                                - Is Sigurdarson on pens for Tromso?

Odd are not average in attack, they are also on of the best. Valles looks nailed, but he plays for maybe the worst team in the league. Sigurdarson is on pens.

Apparently 6 teams out of 15 scored more than Odd. Is Nordkvelle not expensive for that?

Nordkvelle is a bit expensive. I would downgrade him to someone like Njie and do Valles to Gyasi

I think my midfield would lack 'big-hitter' status if I did those moves. I think I'll do Nordkvelle to Zahid, doubling up with Moa. I appreciate your help though 🙂

Where do you have your information from? Your saying Riski isn't a starter (but he is starting tomorrow) and was benched for the whole last season (but he started 12 out of 14 after they bought him).

                            Sigurdason (Tromsø) or Koomson?

Sigurdason is pretty offensive and that saves me 1.0.

Koomson definetly. He´s on all set pieces, and Sogndals biggest strenght is on set pieces. He also did well last season, 10 assist 3 goals, compared to Sigurdarson who most of the time was injured or on the bench

Not imo. Svendsen will be rotated, apparently Ole likes to do that. Vilsvik is a great pick though. But Utvik plays for one of the better defences and Zahid is one of the near essential players, if not essential

I have Moa. Together they block other improvement, and not comfortable with so much tied up in one team (not Rosenborg) who I frankly know nothing about beyond a few days stats and great advice. Will worry about next game next game.

                                  1. I think. Is Sorli nailed?

Sorli looks nailed for now, but one or two bad games and he´s out

Last season's stats say Koomson, but Sigurdarson's are skewed by fewer minutes which may change comparison if extrapolate out for more games.

Yup, Koomson looks better on stats, but Sigurdason is such a bargain at 6.5 IMO..

Sigurdarson hasn´t proved much in league games though, which Koomson has

I like Furubotn on Sogndal, captain and offensive player, but if you have Koomson it could be too much
