The ScoutCast – Episode 222 – Intense

There’s no other word for it, this week’s ScoutCast is certainly an “intense” affair, gripped by the troublesome uncertainty served up by the most testing double Gameweek in memory.

Jonty, Andy and Az once again join me as we quickly review our Gameweek 33s, before indulging in the main course – chewing through your queries that dissect the dilemmas served up by the forthcoming fixtures.

The merits of Zlatan, the head-to-head between Negredo and Benteke and a full risk assessment of shedding Sanchez and Sigurdsson – these are all topics to furrow the brow as we indulge in the most passionate of ScoutCasts for some weeks.

This ScoutCast was first beamed live via our YouTube channel on Monday night. Be sure to subscribe to get notice of future live episodes.

If you’re a traditional type, you can acquire the mp3 audio version via this link on the first player below, or take in the full visual experience via the second player below.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    Really thinking it may be wise to avoid All United assets for this DGW

      CBs should be fine. With Jones, Smalling and probably Rojo out then Bailly and Blind should be nailed on.

      I think that's too much of a risk given 120 mins tonight. You'd be gutted if he only played/started one game (unless he bagged a hat trick in the other!)

    Yes or no?

      He was exhausted. Think Rooney may start vs Burnley.

      He's young and has 2 days recovery. I think he'll play.

    Rashford or Negredo? very hard decision, I think Negredo in short term because Rashford has played 120 min tonight and he'll play against City.

      But with Ibra out, Rashford will probably play up top with Martial out wide. Unless Mourinho plays Rooney :/

      Negredo will definitely start both so it's the safer bet I think

    1FT, 1.4m ITB
    Zaha only DGW player (except Ibra - injured, and Sakho - ineligible against Liverpool)

    How many of the following would you do and which ones?

    A) Ibra -> Kane
    B) Origi -> Rashford
    C) Walker -> Gibson (would be selling Walker on GW36 wildcard anyway for Davies/Vertongen)
    D) Heaton -> De Gea (also going on GW36 WC for Foster)

    Thanks 🙂

    If Ibra is out who will lead the line?

    Rooney Martial Rashford

      Hard to say. I fancy Rashford to still get plenty of minutes. Rooney hasn't played for a while and wasn't trusted to come on tonight. Martial is second choice to Rashford (although he has just played 120 mins).

      I'd still think Rashford would start against Burnley. Maybe looking at 60 mins?

        Rooney has just come back from injury he could, he's the most experienced forward for united and won't be fatigued

    Isn't it a bit harsh that the FA cup and GW fixtures coincide? The midweek games should be a separate GW I think.

    Arsenal, Spurs, Chelsea and City could all have injuries and then we are stuck with them in our squads for the week.
