Dugout Discussion – Chelsea vs West Ham

After Arsenal edged past Southampton at the Emirates, the curtain comes down on Gameweek 33 as Chelsea welcome West Ham United to Stamford Bridge.

At home to a defence that’s conceded 11 goals in their last three road trips, Antonio Conte’s side could emerge as big armband differentials this afternoon.

Alvaro Morata and Eden Hazard are among the top 11 captains for GW33, yet both have been handed the armband by less than 2% of Fantasy Premier League (FPL) matches.

Meanwhile, the in-demand Willian is named on the teamsheet for the fifth successive Gameweek. The most bought midfielder (178,000+) for Gameweek 33, the Brazilian has served up four goals and three assists in his last seven league starts.

At the back, however, Andreas Christensen’s run of five straight starts comes to an end ahead of Double Gameweek 34 as Gary Cahill replaces the young Dane on the teamsheet.

For the visitors, Marko Arnautovic leads the line again on the back of his two-goal haul against Southampton last week.

The Austrian has form against Conte’s side, having netted the winner in a 1-0 victory over Chelsea back in Gameweek 16.

    That Stephens red card is prettaay, prettaay annoying.

    I mean he was 3rd sub this week but I had him in for BB next week. Gah!

    Need to do some thinking and possibly a -4 now.

    Not convinced, but is this a good or bad week to wc? Would be difficult to make a squad that is good for the next two GW's.

    At a loss what to do here, knowing a bit more about Salah's condition tomorrow will help but any pointers?

    Have 0.5 in the bank which makes moving back to Kane hard, or even Sanchez. Stuck with 2 Chelski defenders all this time, don't really want to ship Alonso for a DGW. Also Pope might be a risk with Heaton back on the bench.

    Have BB, TC and FH left. FH for GW35, BB/TC in GW37, and whatever's left in GW38.
    Just broke into the top 50k this week with a bit of luck, should finish up on 68pts I think.

    How does it work again? If I FH now; what budget do I get to use? Does the budget change if the value of my original team starts falling? Can I make as many transfers as I want until the GW is up?
