Best Crystal Palace players to sign on FPL in 2018/19 – Complete Members’ Analysis

Crystal Palace look set to be a source of effective budget options in the early part of the 2018/19 campaign.

The Eagles favourable fixtures in the first nine Gameweeks, combined with some impressive underlying numbers towards the end of last season, mean there are viable options to consider in defence, midfield and attack.

Under Roy Hodgson, Palace made improvements in more than 20 key areas last time out compared to 2016/17, and that is expected to continue into the new campaign.

      I think looks good. Think with new signing yesterday at Southampton Bednarek possibly not nailed and not keen on 2 x 4 m defenders. Fabianski rotates perfectly with Bettinelli and upgrade Bednarek to one of Everto 4.5 m defenders. Good plan on Auba and what I am doing. Not sure about double up of City midfielders as rotation a nightmare. Could you get Mané over Mahrez?

      Strong question marks around Bednarek and Wan-Bissaka. Downgrade someone (maybe Deulofeu to Costa) and upgrade one of them to a heavy hitter.

      Not sure whether wan bissaka or bednarek will be starters so there's as risk you only have 3 def choices.

      I think there are better choices than Mahrez.

      And my last thought is that by having salah you've weakened your team far too much.

    What is the source saying that the players in the Final and 3rd Place game will not play August 10/11/12 in the Premier League? They have weeks off to rest and their only playing a game every 4 days in the WC. If anything they will come in shape as they have been active all summer. All Premier League teams are training now and playing preseason games.

    Why there is not a good premium defender?
    City players: no one is nailed
    Chelsea: new manager coming and alonso no longer an option
    Utd: again no is nailed and valencia is too expensive for that run of fixtures
    Spurs: davies and aurier are not bad but only for 2 gameweeks
    Arsenal: 2 first gws are tough

    Hopefully the bench can cope with one or two absentees for a week or two 🙂 Mostly looking for some longevity, since I don't want to WC early, and don't tend to go for every bandwagon. I know many will say players ill "emerge" and other will return from the world cup, but I'm not really interested in those players anyway. I'll find a way if I want them later 🙂

      Looks a bit different. You've gone heavy on Arsenal from the start. Not sure about KDB and Mendy (I think the latter will be eased in, he hasn't played consecutive competitive football matches in a long time). A lack of Liverpool players stands out. Looks very good otherwise.
