Best Everton players to sign on FPL in 2018/19 – Complete Members’ Analysis

Everton’s midfield and forward options could be worth including in our Fantasy Premier League squads this season.

New manager Marco Silva is expected to overhaul the style used by predecessor Sam Allardyce in 2018/19 and remove the shackles from their most dangerous players.

Two midfield options and one striker in particular, that were restricted last term, boast some underlying numbers which suggest they could impress in Everton’s appealing set of early fixtures.

Fantasy Football Scout members can view that data in the Members’ Area and also read our full analysis of it below to help them pick the best possible FPL team this season.

    Pickford Bettinelli
    Alonso Robbo Cedric Bennett 4.0

maybe a bit different not really sure, opinions?

Don't like Vardy (no more Mahrez) Jota (new to the league and fixtures iffy) and Lookman (not 1st team)

      Don't think a 5.0 keeper needs a rotation partner

Playing in a back 4, he might not prove his worth at 6.5 now.

I'm going with him. Sarri pushed his fullbacks up at Napoli. Their left back got 2 goals and 3 assists in 11 games in the serie a. If he played the same amount of minutes as Alonso and kept up that rate he would have ended with 6 goals and 9 assists. Napoli also kept 19 cs in the serie a last season

    RMT?

    Forster / Fabianski (GK rotation)

Bailly - Bertrand - Lovren (Daniels, Zanka)

Mané - Jota - Sessegnon - Richarlison (Oriol Romeu)

    Kane (C) - Lukaku - Firmino

I've just remembered that I was going to give 4-3-3 a try this season.

    Ederson
    Robertson - Mendy - Coleman - Cedric
    Mane - Sanchez - Walcott
    Aguero - Firmino - Zaha

    4.0 - Deulofeu - Cairney - Peltier

with Sanchez as a placeholder for Hazard if he doesn't perform. Any thoughts?

It's Southgate's fault actually but none of the press will say that. Every one of the British press will go on about brave old England and how Southgate should be knighted etc etc..... We were all over them for the first 20 mins and then we scored. He immediately shut things down and went for 1-0. That's poor management any way you look at it. I did expect to get beat today but not like that...

Kane was invisible since minute 45 yet Southgate removed lively Sterling instead of him for god knows what reason. Also somehow Alli stayed on the pitch for 120 minutes with RLC on the bench.

      1. Deulofail

He was only visible in the first half by standing 5 yards offside for 10 seconds during a vital attack 😀

i thought we played well in the first half and had our chances to go 2-0 up but as soon as they equalised it knocked us for 6 and regardless of personnel or tactics we struggled to recover

    5. Deulofail
      • 8 Years
      5 years, 9 months ago

      Scored after 5 mins?

I agree, as you could tell from my torrade of critism from the moment the goal went in 😀 Not all Gareth though. Lack of sharpness and an entitled, pampered, taken-for-granted attitude from the team in general, but that could also stem from a lack of fitness or something, because they all seemed to be coasting, even in crucial moments.

It could be the repetition of "stay calm, build confidence"-type mantras, which give them a lack of urgency, which of course stems from Gareth, which stems from the media. Nobody really took the responsibility to take the game to Croatia today, despite the evidence that we could have walked into the final if we really went for it.

Anyway, I'm repeating myself from about one and two hours ago now 😆 I'll stop

It's not my intent to come across bitter, but I would love to be able to rewatch the WC with Vardy, RLC and Rashford as regular starters, just to see England play some fearless attacking football. Maybe we'd have gone out in the group stages but I'd have loved to see if it would have flourished into really scary, punishing, liquid football. 😀

Disclaimer: not having a go at Kane, Sterling or Alli (but only coz I can't be arsed!)

I think England overachieved with the squad they have. They made big strides forward with regards to how they approach tournaments and managed to win a peno shootout at the world cup. Things are looking a lot brighter for the future than they were beforehand.

    for now:

    Ederson, 4 mill gk
    Bailly, Coleman, Tarkowski/Mee, Cedric, Peltier
    Salah, Sane, _______, Cairney, _______
    ______, Firmino, King/Zaha

Ederson&Bailly to cover City&UTD clean sheets, Coleman because Silvas's offensive style and wing back's formation (+ easy schedule). One from Burnley, of course, Cedric good for 4.5 (maybe offensive role in 3-5-2 formation?) and Peltier 4 mill - 90 mins - 2 points.

Salah must have (captain). Sane from City's attack (fresh and "loves" Arsenal&Bellarin). Cairney is the main man in Fulham & on penalties (I think?).

Firmino (a few safe premium options in attack) and Joshua (my feeling) or Zaha (popular choice) for third attacker.

Missing mid range and cheap midfielders (Walcott&Stephens maybe) and premium attacker (Aguero?) for 2-3 gw's when I'm buying Kane.
Or.. Another premium midfielder (Alexis, Eriksen, Mahrez) but in that case, Joshua and Zaha will be second and third choice in attack.

Can't believe I've already solved it:

    Pickford - Lossl
Bertrand - Yedlin - van Anholt - Bellerin - Dunk
    Sane - Eriksen - Mkhitaryan - Mane - Cairney
    Zaha - Tosun - Aubemeyang

    Thoughts?

Maybe Chalobah but would need to check on him. Højbjerg got a bit of playing time towards the end of the season, could be decent if he plays this season.

That Kamara from Fulham up front but only because they barely have 11 players lol.

For anyone wanting to work out how their FWC rank stacks up, there are currently 1,892,537 people signed up. Really struggled finding that number!

Personally I'm currently 23,524 (Top 2%) which is better then I've ever done in FPL! Number 89 in New Zealand though, and I think I have my ML wrapped up.

Can't wait for FPL to start.

yea sounds like a bridge to far you must be in a decent league if you are chasing with that score you could do with a differential captain from the 3rd 4th playoff game once teams are announced good luck

Heres my current team to start the season with. Yes I have ignored the mighty bournemouth, palace, and southampton defences everyone seems to be in love with

    DDG

    Alonso Valencia Mendy Robertson Azpil

    Jota Salah(c) Gross

    Tosun Aguero(vc)

    Bench: Boruc, Cairney, Chalobah, Kamara

I've been tinkering with something similar: a 5-2-3 with no defender under 5.5m.
Seriously tempting. I don't know if I'll follow through on it, though.
It's tough, if you want Salah, then almost every other player needs to be a "value" pick.

With Salah though you only need one other captaincy option really. Other than that yea value it has to be. My defense above gives me a chubby though!
