Members Articles ‘Unlocked’ for the public this weekend

Fantasy Football Scout will be releasing six Members Articles free to the public this weekend.

We have taken the opportunity of the international break to do some in-depth research into the underlying data from the first eight Gameweeks of the season.

Using that, we will be tackling some of the key current talking points in FPL in six different articles across Saturday and Sunday.

For those two days, these particular articles will be free for all to view, regardless of whether or not the reader is a paid-up Fantasy Football Scout Member or not.

Of course, existing Members will be able to view the content as usual.

      The only thing putting me off going Sterling over Aguero is that I can get a playing 4.5 mid but none of the 4.5 forwards start. May need the whole squad over Christmas.

      It's the only reason I (reluctantly) have Mane in my team. With his poor form and the slight sign of Hud & Cardiff picking up (bearing in mind there'll be 10 men behind the ball) I wouldn't be surprised if I come out of these fixtures thinking I should have moved him onto the other cheaper options that are actually on form. Basing decisions on fixtures usually fails me.

    Thoughts on Sterling as a placeholder for Salah on WC? Burnley at home a better fixture than Huddersfield away and if Salah explodes I can get him straight after to catch price rises. If he blanks I'll still want him for Cardiff but will be able to wait and miss any price drop.

        It's possible to get hazard sterling and mane in your midfield and avoiding salah but feels risky not to have salah at some point given the stats everyone is talking about

    I'm a bit desperate and frustrated at the moment. I'm second in my ML and have been dropping off the last two GWs. I only got 1 FT, have played my WC already and my team value is only 103m, so I even got to watch prices closely... in other words get Laca and Richarlison sooner rather than later, i.e. now.

    I want to drop Neves, Moura and probably even Kane. Mane has been playing poorly, but very good fixtures coming up and he tends to perform against lesser sides, so I am not too sure about Mane.

    mission impossible, so I'm considering this madness:

    (A) just Moura --> Richarlison for free
    (B) Mane & Zaha --> Richarlison & Laca for -4
    (C) Kane & Zaha & Moura & Neves --> Aguero & Laca & Richarlison & Hojberg (to keep Mane for the good fixtures) for a solid -12

      way too early to sweat your ML position. Don't make panic moves now, or you'll likely just dig yourself a deeper hole. You could easily just save a FT this week and reassess with 2 FT going into GW10.

    I plan to get Mendy for Trippier so would DDG to Lloris be a smart move? DDG is due to drop in price so I'm looking to swap him out now.

      Spurs haven't been convincing at the back, and have some tougher fixtures in the short term. I'd go for Fabianski or Alisson if you don't mind sticking with a more expensive keeper.
