Members Articles ‘Unlocked’ for the public this weekend

Fantasy Football Scout will be releasing six Members Articles free to the public this weekend.

We have taken the opportunity of the international break to do some in-depth research into the underlying data from the first eight Gameweeks of the season.

Using that, we will be tackling some of the key current talking points in FPL in six different articles across Saturday and Sunday.

For those two days, these particular articles will be free for all to view, regardless of whether or not the reader is a paid-up Fantasy Football Scout Member or not.

Of course, existing Members will be able to view the content as usual.

        I see you arguemebt for not both of Salah and Mane but with those fixtures I don't care about form. They don't need to get out of second gear to put 4 or 5 past those teams.

          i am fairly happy to go without salah (for that price), started with him and used WC in gw5 to ship him out

          can't say i'm happy at all not having any liverpool front 3, but haven't worked out a plan yet to get them in either

          they've had a tough run i know but Mane has something like 20 BAPS combined over the last 4 games. As you said that could easily turn around

          Any suggestions for my team?

            Mitro gone some great fixtures short term too. I like having both Arnie and Mitro for now
            Some other move to go with Ramsey to KDB I think.
            Milner got a knock I think. See if he is going to be alright so he can outscore the big 3 for you - stranger things have happened 🙂

          A bit of fun bud.
          We see sides with 90% usual suspects and a little grading exercise on originality. Not hurting anyone.
          For example Laca would score high in this system. Salah will obviously score low.
          We all know there are a multitude of reasons to pick a player. TV will start playing a part shortly.

    Morning dzz, need help deciding when to WC. I was planning to WC in gw10 and my main targets included hazard (crazy I still don’t have him!), Arnie, Mitro.

    However, going another week without Hazard is proving disastrous with every passing week. So I can bring hazard in gw9 for a hit (for Kane) but that would mean postponing my WC to gw15 and also I would be stuck with Jiménez and king as my other strikers who don’t have the greatest of fixtures from gw11.

    Current team:
    Patricio -- Foster*
    Alonso • Robbo • Doherty • Shaw* --- Awb*
    Salah • Rich • Maddison -- Camarassa • Stephens*
    Kun • King* • Kane*

    A: Stephens/Kane >> Hazard/Jimenez (-4)....then WC in gw15. Biggest issue with this is i dont like jimenez/king from gw11

    B: Shaw >> XXX (morrison, ake)..one week punt. Then WC in gw10 (view potential wc team below)

        This will be the first time in around a year that captained Salah points will be an attacking move rather than standing still as a defensive one.

        His ownership dropping further will be a big plus for anyone captaining him.

          The problem with Hazard is that Jose will put a man on him to blunt him, it's worked in the past, not sure it'll work now in this form but you know it's coming.

    Kane isn’t passing the eye test at all. I like the look of Lacazette but I am scared about not having any offensive Pool players. Options include:

    A) Kane to Firmino (-4)
    B) Kane to Murray, Maddison to Salah (-8)
    C) Kane to Vardy, Maddison to Mané. (-8)
    D) Kane to Lacazette (-4) and hide behind the sofa

      Tough one. Im generally uncomfortable with hits, but. . . . B seems your best bet. Firmino's dropping deep is a bit of a deal breaker with him.
