Digne’s last-gasp goal a deserving reward for his recent displays

Three of the most-discussed Everton assets of recent weeks all played a major part in their side’s 2-2 draw with Watford on Monday night, a match that is the focus of our final Scout Notes of Gameweek 16.

Lucas Digne scored his first goal in an Everton shirt with an injury-time free-kick, Richarlison was on target for the eighth time this season and Gylfi Sigurdsson ended up on zero FPL points after firing a second-half penalty straight at the legs of Ben Foster.

We round up the goals, assists, injury news, Fantasy talking points and manager quotes from last night’s fixture at Goodison Park.

Everton 2-2 Watford

  • Goals: Richarlison (£7.1m), Lucas Digne (£4.9m) | Seamus Coleman (£5.2m) own-goal, Abdoulaye Doucoure (£5.9m)
  • Assists: Andre Gomes (£5.4m) | Roberto Pereyra (£6.2m) x2

As Lucas Digne‘s (£4.9m) Fantasy owners will be at great pains to tell you, the French left-back’s stoppage-time goal was long overdue.

A needless handball by Christian Kabasele (£4.4m) on the edge of the Watford penalty box presented Digne with the free-kick opportunity he subsequently despatched but if there was an element of fortune surrounding the circumstances of his goal, the former Barcelona defender merited a slice of luck.

On course for nine FPL points in the Merseyside derby before Divock Origi‘s (£5.0m) late intervention and denied two assists in the draw with Newcastle United last week when Cenk Tosun (£6.6m) and Gylfi Sigurdsson (£7.5m) spurned the “big chances” he provided, Digne’s previous two Gameweeks had been hard-luck stories.

The Everton full-back looked set for a one-point return in this match, too, only for his late free-kick to hand a ten-point haul to his circa 218,000 Fantasy owners.

Digne could have had an assist to his name as well, when feeding Sigurdsson just before half-time – that chance going the same way as the Icelander’s opportunity last Wednesday when a last-ditch block prevented what looked like a certain goal.

No player on show at Goodison Park yesterday evening created more chances than Digne, who racked up more touches in the final third than all players bar Sigurdsson.

There were positive signs regarding Digne’s understanding with Bernard (£5.9m) on the left flank, too, with the two players linking up well in attack – though both were culpable for the breakdown in communication that led to Watford’s equaliser.

Speaking of his £18m left-back, Silva said:

He has quality, it means personality and character as well. It was an important moment for him and he showed me he is a good player.

In the first goal we conceded, there was a lack of communication between him and Bernard. In these type of moments it’s really important it doesn’t affect him.

Still only owned by 3.6% of FPL managers, Digne faces Manchester City and Spurs next before Everton’s fixtures ease considerably: between Gameweeks 19 and 26 inclusive, the Toffees play none of the “big six”.

Monday’s result was perhaps harsh on the Hornets, who fought back from a goal down and deservedly led after two quick-fire second-half strikes.

Roberto Pereyra (£6.2m) was at the heart of both goals.

The Argentinean winger claimed a “Fantasy assist” when his shot struck the post and bounced in off the unfortunate Seamus Coleman (£5.2m) on 62 minutes, then added another to his name when crossing for Abdoulaye Doucoure (£5.8m) to nod home just over 120 seconds later.

Pereyra had looked off the boil in recent weeks and hadn’t delivered an attacking return since Gameweek 10, but he was at least more eye-catching on Monday evening, forcing a save from Jordan Pickford (£5.0m) in the first minute, nodding an excellent chance wide later in the first half and then rippling the side-netting with a free-kick after the interval.

While Pereyra’s surprisingly high ownership of 14.6% will perhaps largely be accounted for by ghost teams and casuals, the “active” interest in this fixture would have concerned two of Everton’s mid-price midfielders: Sigurdsson and Richarlison (£7.1m).

The former Watford winger was back up front for this meeting against his former employers, as Bernard returned on the left flank.

There have been plenty of column inches on this site and beyond devoted to the pros and cons of Richarlison as an “out of position” striker, but the Brazilian – as he had done against Newcastle last week – certainly displayed predatory instincts in sweeping a first-time shot past Ben Foster (£4.5m) to give Everton the lead on 14 minutes.

The goal was controversial in nature, with the Watford backline hesitating as Theo Walcott (£6.2m) interfered with play from an offside position just before Andre Gomes (£5.4m) supplied the telling pass to Richarlison.

Mohamed Salah (£13.0m) is now the only FPL midfielder to have scored more league goals than the Brazilian winger-turned-striker this season.

Goal aside, this was a “nearly” performance from the pumped-up Richarlison against his old club – be it a heavy touch, a poor choice of pass or an excellent piece of defending from a Watford shirt, the Brazil international found himself in a series of promising positions that almost, but not quite, led to further attacking returns.

For Sigurdsson, however, this was very much a day to forget.

The Icelandic midfielder missed his second penalty of the season when firing straight at Foster midway through the second half, prompting the frustrated former Swansea City talisman into taking a succession of wild potshots at goal in the final quarter of the game.

While this was undeniably a bad day at the office, Sigurdsson’s owners ought to take some solace from the fact that no player on show recorded more attempts on goal, shots in the box, penalty box touches or touches in the final third.

Sigurdsson was at the heart of Everton’s best play in the first half, too, almost slipping Walcott through on goal and then denied a clear goalscoring opportunity by an underhit Richarlison pass.

What may be of some concern, of course, is whether the Iceland midfielder retains spot-kick duties for the Toffees going forward.

When asked about Sigurdsson’s future penalty-taking prospects, Silva said:

Let’s see what we can do and analyse the match. Gylfi is scoring many goals for us. He has all our support.

Kurt Zouma (£5.0m) was the Everton centre-back to miss out this week as Michael Keane (£5.1m) returned to the starting XI, while the cautioned Yerry Mina (£5.4m) was perhaps fortunate to escape a second yellow card and subsequent dismissal when a foul on Isaac Success (£4.6m) went unpunished.

Success was once again fielded alongside Troy Deeney (£5.8m) in attack and the robust Watford strike pair were a handful for the Everton backline, though Deeney wasn’t able to convert the handful of presentable opportunities that came his way either side of the break.

Swedish winger Ken Sema (£4.6m) and 19-year-old Domingos Quina (£4.4m) made their full Premier League debuts for the Hornets and it was the all-action Quina who caught the eye in central midfield, even if his promising display wouldn’t have been of much interest to Fantasy managers.

Javi Gracia said of Quina:

It’s not easy to play your first game his debut [first Premier League start] and he put in a very good performance – an amazing performance. Everybody knows that he’s a very good young player but I think he has a great present and an amazing future as well. He’s one player of this squad and I know he’s always ready to help the team like he did today.

Watford sit near the top of our Season Ticker for the next seven Gameweeks and Gracia was happy to take the recent performances of his side against “bigger” clubs into these more winnable matches ahead.

The Watford boss said:

It was tough to accept because after conceding a goal in the first half and having a good reaction in the second half we’ve played much better. We’ve dominated the game in that moment – scoring two goals – and at the end in the last minutes we’ve conceded another goal and it was a bit frustrating. We are keeping a good level and if we keep playing this way I’m sure in the future we will be able to get better results.

I’m happy with all of the performances we’ve had recently. We’ve played against very good teams; we’ve played against City, Liverpool and it’s not easy to get good results playing against these teams but I think the level of the team has always been high with chances to score and chances to win and like today, we’ve lost a very good chance to win in the last minutes but I’m happy with the performance of the team.

On the fitness front, Will Hughes (£5.0m) and Andre Gray (£6.0m) missed out for the visitors with hip and leg injuries respectively, while Morgan Schneiderlin (£4.3m) wasn’t part of the Everton squad having recently suffered with a leg problem – though his omission could just as well have been tactical.

Everton XI (4-2-3-1): Pickford; Coleman, Keane, Mina, Digne; Gueye (Tosun 72′), Gomes; Walcott (Lookman 66′), Sigurdsson, Bernard (Calvert-Lewin 66′); Richarlison.

Watford XI (4-4-2): Foster; Femenia, Cathcart, Kabasele, Holebas; Doucoure, Quina (Mariappa 90′); Sema (Deulofeu 60′), Pereyra; Success (Chalobah 76′), Deeney.

My team ended up 48 points worse off after my stupid transfers this week. I didn't listen to the crowd.

So, here is my team, with 1.0 itb. Considering just biting the bullet after all this time and just spending the extra on Bennett > Doherty. What do you think?

    Patricio
    Kolasinac, TAA, AWB,
    Hazard, Sane, richarlison, anderson,
    Kane(c), mitrovic, aubameyang

    Subs: fabianski, bennett, kayal, digne

I would save the transfer this week tbh, 2 free next week might be more handy. Make that move then if no pressing issues

    Interesting WC dilemma.

    Keep Kola.

    Change Kola to Luiz.

    Change Kola to Digne.

Going cheap on defence, which at the moment is:
    Kolasinac, Doherty, Robertson, AWB, Kiko

    Currently got £0.5 ITB

Which is the better transfer this week:

    A) Patricio > Fabianski
    B) Bennett > Schindler (would bench AWB)
    C) Bennett > Doherty (would price me out of doing Brooks > Snodgrass in a couple weeks)

    Patricio
    Robertson Alonso AWB
    Sterling Sane Richarlison Brooks
    Kane Auba Jimenez

    Button Bennett Digne Hojbjerg

    Hi mates

    1) What is in your opinion the best (premium) GK for the coming GKs? Lloris? Ederson? Other?

    2) You think Wilson will be OK to play this weekend? Is he a good alternative to Jimenez?

    Cheers

Ederson, spurs keep chopping and charging their defence compared to past seasons so don’t look as solid, Allison will still do well despite fixtures as well

    Alonso + Richarlison > Balbeuna + Sterling for -4??
I have the exact amount needed.

Would weaken my defence but my front 8 would be

    Salah, Sane, Sterling, Anderson, Shaqiri

    Auba, Jimenez, Success

hell of a front 8, but shaqiri will be rotated fairly often i think.

Don't understand why everyone is raving about dumping Richarlison, especially if have value in him. City aren't completely tight at the moment and the Spurs at home so could grab something there. He's got a hatful of goals, playing up front in a attacking team and as nailed as they come!

In short, it's a no from me.

What would you ideal team structure be on a WC right now? My thoughts

GK: 4.5 4m...if budget permits, try to find a better 2nd gk to form a good rotation.
Def: big hitter (Alonso, Robbo) + 5m (Doherty) + 5m (kola, digne, bellerin) + 2 x cheap defenders (schindler, awb, kiko, chambers, diop)
    Mid: 2 big hitters (sterling, haz) + Anderson + Rich + 4.5m
Fwd: 1 big hitter (kane) + 2 x mid price fwd (mitro, wilson, jimenez, chica)

    Some of my dilemmas:
    - whether its better to play 352 or 433. 433 is easier on the budget as there no mids around the 6.5m to compete with mid price fwds
    - I really want to get Son in my midfield which means going to a 352 but also means dropping Alonso to fund it. Does that make the defence too cheap?
    - Alternatively, dowgrading one mid big hitter i.e. sterling > sane..that way allowing me to get Son in a 352 and keeping alonso BUT sterling seems essential on a WC or can Sane cover him?

If on a WC, make sure you buy the defender with the most penalty area touches this season that still has no goal to his name.

    Ederson
    Bellerín | Doherty | Holebas
    Hazard | Sané | Son | Martial
    Aubameyang | Carroll | Jiménez

    (Button || Robertson | Wan-Bissaka | Richarlison)

    Carroll -- Fulham away,
Doherty, Jiménez -- Bournemouth home, Holebas -- Cardiff home,

Hi guys. Had originally planned Salah and Success to Kane and fodder midfielder for a hit but not too keen after Salah’s exploits. Team is:

    Ryan
    Laporte, Robertson, Alonso
    Salah, Sterling (C), Fraser, Anderson,
    Auba, Jimenez, Success

    Button, AWB, Schindler, Richarlison

    1ft 0.2m itb

Save transfer, get Kane or do Ryan to Fabianski?

    Thanks.

I have had a very poor first four months of the season, and I am trying to arrest this slump. About 100 points behind in my mini-league and want to make up serious ground over Christmas. Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Fabianski
    Balbuena / Laporte / Doherty / AWB / TAA
    Salah / Sterling / Fraser / Richarlison / McTominay
    Aubameyang / Jimenez / Murray

This week thinking Murray > Mitrovic for his tidy fixtures over Xmas. Bound to get some returns and a guaranteed starter. I know I need a Spurs player.

rough: after sticking with (and often captaining) salah since gw1, moving him out on a wildcard only to witness the inevitable hat trick. Also, selling hazard on wc is looking like a mistake.

smooth: still had a decent week with 4 defenders getting 32 points between them, son's haul and auba(c) getting me a small green arrow

    6. Don Kloppeone
      • 6 Years

There’ll be lots of smooth so I’ll get in my mostly rough:

Rough: Played WC - ditched Salah, Alonso, Haz, Robbo. Had Kane, Sterling, Sané. 8 players got no more than 2pts
Dropped from 29k OR to 59k with 42pts

Smooth: Auba cap, Anderson and Doherty

smooth: kept faith in haz and salah, brought in son for a hit, robbo solid again, captain auba didnt blank

Rough: sold Salah after captain fail of last week, La(c)a, Kane-Jimenez cameos blocking Alonso bench points,

Smooth: luckily stopped myself from doing Robbo>TAA, Snoddy and Doherty goals and the smoothest is Digne 9-pointer at the very last minute of the week which minimized the damage a bit.

      All rough:
      Arnie -> Wilson FT
Kane (c), Richarlison the only attacker to return points.
      41 points, 4.5m GW Rank, OR down from 147k -> 245k

Smooth: 79(-4) with Salah, Robbo, FAnderson, Doherty, Digne, Alonso, Richo and up to 1.4k.
Rough: Kane(C), Sane, Fab and Jimenez (brought in this week)
Switching captaincy from Salah to Kane a couple of hours before deadline was a terrible decision.

    12. XabiAlonso

Rough: moved out hazard and Alonso as part of a -8 to finally get sterling.

Smooth: other transfers included son and kolasinac. Had kept Salah and Robertson for a nice 87(-8)to go into top 10k.

Rough: Took a -8 hit to get Laca in for his 1 pointer. Also had Kane, Jimenez and Sane on 1pt. Benched Foster and Robertson who managed to get 20 points between them! Makes all those 1pt cameos even more painful.

Smooth: All my other players did great with Salah, FAnderson, Doherty, Digne and Rich all scoring. Also swapped captain from Laca to Salah just before deadline! Players in my -8 were Kola (8pt) and FAnderson (12pt) so that worked out well . Final score of 93 (-8)!!!

Massive rough for me. Net score of 30 as I took a hit to get Lacazette and captained him (Alonso was the makeweight) 34(-4)

Lacazette (c), Kane, Jimenez, sterling, sane, Fraser, balbuena, taa benched (awb came in) and Ryan. 9 players got 14 pts. Ouch. Went from 1.3k rank to just inside top 10k and lost 60+ pts on rivals.

You beat me. Second extremely rough week for me. Ditched Doherty three weeks ago (his underlying stats rose immediately after that) for TAA to get clean sheets and similar attacking points was considered a decent long term move here. Seeing him to score instead of Jimenez was the roughest moment.

Smooth: I dropped last week out from LMS, so now only from the cup.

Rough – Yedlin getting sent off is the only place to start. Wilson not playing, Kane benched. Mitro going off at half time for some reason.

Smooth – Salah (c) meant I really didn’t care about the roughs. Robertson, Doherty, Bellerin and Richarlison chipping in.

76 points and up to 516 in the world, highest ever.

Some context. 2 weeks ago had 29pts and GW rank 5.5m (easily worst rank ever regardless of how many players in previous seasons). Obviously a huge red arrow.
Brought in Anderson and Kane for Martial & Kun straight after.
Could not decide what to so thought I'd gamble roll a FT and gather more info for the benched Arnie replacement.

      So
smooth: 99 pts - GW rank 37k. Salah (c), Alonso, Doherty, Digne, Rich,Haz, Anderson

rough: 2 pts from Jimenez and Kane & another Patricio fail, TAA no show.

Smoooooth; 85 points! Highest point score of the season and moved back into the top 100k after slipping the last few weeks to now at 60k.

Kept faith with Salah(c) and Hazard. I was working Saturday checked in to see Salah had scored very pleasing. Didn’t check again until full-time when checking the team news. Couldn’t believe it what a surprise! Robertson, Doherty, Richarlison returned too.

Rough; A score that high even with four one pointers!? Strange week.

Still got my wildcard and not taken a points hit now since the DGWs during the run-in of 2016/17 which must be some sort of record..!

      Awful game week, all rough.

Rough: No Salah, Robertson, Doherty, Richarlison. Sigurdsson burned a penalty. Kane (C) 1 point.
Besides Alonso and Hazard, my team got a total of 14 points between 9 players.
Gameweek points 29. Gameweek rank 5.6 million. Overall rank drop from 50k to 155k.

Smooth: Nothing, really. Hazard and Alonso wasn't nearly enough.
Gameweek 16 is the worst round iv'e ever experienced in my 5 years playing fantasy.

Rough: Wildcarding and taking out Salah to spread his money to Kane, Lacazette (C), Sane and Silva. Also had Wilson and Trent not playing. To top it all off, Yedlin 1st sub with a red card. 33 points and a drop in rank of over 130,000.

FFS Cup smooth- needed 4 points to win going into WAT v EVE with Foster my only hope. Kane and Eriksen cameos from said -4
Laca captain hauled off at half time
Luiz 3rd sub 15 pointer at home to City
Only City cover is now injured
Sigurdsson my only MNF player misses pen

      Smooth:

Hazard returning despite everyone dropping him (could be considered rough as I bought at 11.5 so have lost 0.6m on him)
Kolasinac in for a hit (although I would have played Luiz so this cost me 11 points)
Doherty (doesnt count as everyone owns but enjoyed the Mags losing in the last minute)

Rough: After getting Arnie in for a hit the week before, I got in Lacazette for a hit this week making him captain selling Robertson in the process. Benched Alonso and got my 10th red arrow in 11 GWs going from 5k to 37k.

Smooth: Despite benching Alonso, my three defenders chosen over him all scored more points (Kola, Doc, Digne).

      - Sigurdsson penalty miss
      - Likes of Fabianski, Wan Biss, Balbuena, Laca, Jimenez, Kane getting 1pt
      - Sterling and Silva with 2pts
      - Finished with a total of 25pts and rank drop form 22k to 83k 😮

Smooth for me was looking at my team Friday afternoon and not fancying AWB and Fraser in my starting XI. Decided to strengthen team and bench for xmas and free up some cash by doing:

Out - Alonso (who was going to be benched) and Diangana
In - Digne and Snodgrass for a risky -8.

They scored 18 between them, compared to 3 for AWB and Fraser. A 7 point gain after the hit and allows me to bring in stronger players this week with the extra cash. Feels goooood.

      Also, Salah (C). 93 (-8), taking me from 57k to 24k.

Onwards and upwards from here, starting with selling Salah...

I decided to Wildcard this week as Arnie, Murray and Martial injuries forced me into it a week earlier than planned.

      Rough:
Out goes Salah and Alonso and in comes Sane, Kane, LaPorte and Jimenez who all got 1 pointers. 4 million gameweek rank and I plummet out of the top 10k

      Smooth

Anderson and Richarlison, still at 14k which is my best rank at this stage 🙂

      A tale of unimaginable woe

      _
I write this from the cold depths of an abyss, forged by the premature release of my wildcard.
Words cannot convey the immeasurable discomfort in which I cower, silently regretful, ashamed, disheartened.
In these moments, expressing emotion can provide a release for some - but reviewing the facts only seems to increase the pressure on my shackles of despair.

I departed GW15, buoyant. Energised. The slog of this season cast asunder as I revelled in glorious and long awaited progress.
Progress. The word now cuts through my FPL soul, exiting my body and maliciously castrating me of all my hopes and dreams.

I begin to pick through the wreckage. It is a long and arduous process. The walls begin to close around me as the evidence of a plan ignored is presented afore the baying jury.

What do you ask of me, I bitterly cry, have I not suffered enough without 'This'?

"Truth. Shame. Reflection." Comes the reply.

      _
A long held wildcard can be a curse, a plague affecting your every transfer.
You dance around each considered move with an uneasy sense of freedom.
As urgency increases, each passing week becomes a greater trial than the last.
You consider the validity of activation week to week, but an invisible power holds you in a vice –
      No, not this week.

You look ahead, and resolved, you sense GW17 is the time to plunge funds across multiple premium assets from the Shires of Tottenham, Arsenal and (importantly) the blue of Manchester.
You have suffered by the plenteous hauls and rises of Raheem - but the moment to release Salah must be timed with care.

      _
Emboldened by the success of my pursuit in the aforementioned GW15, I pondered what to do with fallen Knight Marko.
His injury did not fit well with my plan and I could not see the light.
My answer seemed assured : Wilson. He possessed the form and undeniable charm of a long term asset in waiting. I could not see the value in Chicharito or Rashford as one week punts ahead of a carefully planned wildcard – I was blinded by a sense that Wilson ‘was’ the ‘correct’ option.

My mind turned to price changes and I plunged into the darkest recesses.
      Greed. Fear. Urgency.
My heart was gripped by a desire to acquire, and I walked toward the golden lights.
The clear narrow path was torn apart and a grand project formed.
I grasped each decimal rise with a righteous sense of being, in wilful ignorance of a strategy carefully plotted.

      _
Now in the aftermath, I lie awake at night.
      My hopes shattered.
Ever fearful of what the 'morrow shall bring.

      [end.]

Spent the majority of my WC toiling between :

Insane rough with a 5 million gameweek rank.

Gameweek 15: Aguero, Martial and Mane out for Kane, Brooks and Eriksen for a -4
Gameweek 16: Arnautovic and Robertson out for Aubameyang and Wan Bissaka for a -4

Was always going to make most of these moves but the major decision point was between Son and Eriksen. Son was the enabler for keeping Robertson. Now, Son/Robertson combo have outscored Eriksen/TAA by 13 points in the past 2 weeks. This week it was more pronounced ( and to add salt to the wounds was the Yedlin red card + Kane, TAA and Jiminez benching. Still happy with my team moving ahead and hopefully will catch up the gains conceded to Salah owners over the next 5 gameweeks.

Wildcarded - removing Digne, Salah, Alonso, Robertson and Hazard who combined for a total of 57 points. My WC XI combined for a score of 49. Hopefully better things to come with Sterling, Sane, Kane, Auba, Bellerin and Anderson in place...

Rough: Did Aguero Success and Alonso for TAA Laca and Mitrovic for -8. Digne 10 pointer a rough as cost Watford 2 points which is far more important than the 9 extra I got. Had Siggy too so happy with the missed penalty which cost me 2 points. Wilson no show.
Smooth: Salah (c) and Robertson. The only players in whole squad who got more than 2 apart from Digne.

Rough - Laca captain, valid goal called off and taken out at half time. Siggy missed pen. Sané and Sterling blanking when they both should have scored in the first half. Kane benched. Martial not in squad. No Salah.

Smooth - does it really matter?
      Anderson, Digne, Doherty, Robertson.

Smooth: My slow and steady rise up the ranks from 491k in gameweek 1 to 24k this gameweek with only 2 red arrows along the way. Salah captain this week being the major reason for my green arrow this week.

Rough: Siggy pen miss who was brought in as part of my first hit of the season. Arnie and Sterling out for Auba and Siggy was going so well Auba assist and then an Everton pen. Siggy steps up and the rest is history!! No more hits for this season!!

One week’s smooth is another week’s rough.
Salah, Hazard, Jimenez —> Son, Sane, Kane(c) last week for -4. Ended up gaining 18(-4) points. That move cost me 34 points this week (assuming Salah as captain).
Other roughs this week were Kane(c) and Jimenez being benched (Jimenez came back into my team for the injured Arie). With Richarlison as my VC and Alonso on the bench, I would have been happy if Kane didn’t get any minutes.
Martial -> Anderson proved to be worth a hit at least.

      Rough:

      Took another -12.

      Hazard (9) > Snodgrass (8)
      Mane (1) > Son (14)
      Vardy (-) > Aubameyang (5)
      Arnautovic (-) > Lacazette (1)

This looks pretty smooth, but my transfers-in blocked Alonso (6) and Kamara (5) coming on from the bench, and I captained Lacazette, who was withdrawed at halftime, instead of Bellerin (6), who I planned to captain if I made no moves (as evidenced by the few RMTs I posted for advice). All in all, my hits cost me 10 points when compared to making no transfers at all..

Yedlin red card was another rough, and it was also disconcerting to be overjoyed with 10 points from Digne on Monday night, only to find that this still produced a drop in rank on that day.

      Smooth:
Anderson double digits, Doherty goal and Bellerin clean sheet.

66 points, and dropped from 45k to 112k in the last two gameweeks.

It's all about if you had Salah and captained him. I kept the faith and held onto him, so definitely a smooth week for me (green arrow up to 10.5K). Richarlison and the backline also delivered (Alonso, Robertson, Doherty).

Still some roughs that will need to iron out. Sweating Wilson's fitness after he missed the game and had blanks from my other big hitters (Kane and Sterling).

Bench is weak, so thinking of shifting funds there as we can expect more rest across the board.
