      With so much competition and rotation, I'd rather wait until after the busy festive season and look elsewhere.

    That's what everyone deserves for captaining a city midfielder, there are huge extremes of highs and lows. Recently, Sterling captainers have had the 40 point captaincy haul, as well as a big haul v West Ham, so these disasters will come along now and again.

    You either opt for safe captaincy or take the risk for the big haul, sometimes it doesn't work out.
