TAA is fit again and you have a good sub in Awb.. Id use this opportunity to downgrade laporte and upgrade hoj or kamara with the spare(Digne/Shaw + Ings/Snoddy maybe)

Worst call in 8 years playing this game:
Salah and Son out to Sterling(c) and Sane
    For 8pts

Only 50-point swing if you'd have captained Son, which you would not have.

Besides, on Wildcard I shipped (along with a few other 'blankers'):
      Salah (21), Hazard (9), Robertson (11) >>> Sterling (2), Anderson (12), TAA (0)

Auba, Kane & Son made it up for me this weekend & back to the same rank as pre-WC. You can still turn it around!

What's better to do on WC?

    A) Get a double rise from Lingard. Bank the .1 profit but then spend it on Son who will be .1 up by Wednesday.
    B) Forget the double rise from Lingard and just get Son now for 8.5m.

    1. STONEROSES

There is a difference. That extra .1 from Lingard will be profit banked instantly. If I go for Son today I will be relying on him going up by even numbers (.2, .4 or .6) to earn that extra .1 profit.

A is clearly the better option if Lingard is nailed to rise. That's the only catch, I can't be 100 % sure that Lingard will rise.

At that time, Arnie will prolly be back in the mix. Rashford might rise, but if he is shifted out wide to make room for Lukaku, he isnt as enticing an option. Prefer Martial for united cover

Bench headache for the upcoming gw. Bench one attacker

    A) Jimenez

I think Sane will either play or get a full rest considering what Pep has been doing.

Rich vs Jim is a coin flip, play Rich just because new manager effect at Fulham and they could scrape a clean sheet (unlikely)

Am I the only one who would rather be prioritising Salah back over a MUN mid who we are basing pretty much on a one match revival?

    Considering this move:
Sterling, Fraser, Laporte > Salah, Townsend/ Snoddy, Shaw/ Digne

I still have Kane, Sané and Haz

    Alternative is the seemingly template:
Fraser, Laporte > Martial, Digne/ Shaw

But really I want my Mo back!

    What do you advise?

You cant compare salah to manu mids because of the price difference. Obviously Salah is the better pick one on one, but it is what you do with the extra cash that counts

Cant think of how to use one of my two FT's so it doesnt go to waste:

    Patricio
    Kolasinac Digne Doherty
    Sterling Sane Son Richarlison
    Kane Aubamayang Jiminez

Hamer AWB Diangana Balbuena // £0.4m banked

Diangana out for Billing to get more bench cover?

    1. FC Hakkebøf
      • 7 Years
      5 years, 4 months ago

I might get some stick for saying this but Digne -> Lovren is not the worst. Liverpool is an almost guaranteed CS in 3/4 weeks. Better to rely on that than Dignes attaxking returns.

      Otherwise do Diangana -> Camarasa

      1. Red Rock
        • 6 Years

Interesting, i've just brought Digne in couple weeks ago. Liverpool are definately guaranteed a clean sheet this week but its very short term with Arsenal and City next - yes they have the best defence in the league, i'm just not sold. Plus i would rather have Trent but its all a bit uncertain. Will be looking to bring Pool def back in after City though.

Any reason why you're favouring Lovren over Trent out of interest?

Didnt consider long term. Lovrens spot might be in danger after those two tough fixtures. So yeah sell Diangana and save the other FT

I usually tend to buy for a period of games, not just 1 week - with that in mind, who's the best pick from:

    Lingard
    Martial
    Pogba
    Rashford

Bearing in mind that Lukaku will come back soon. Or might these all continue, and relegate Lukaku to the bench?

    Thanks!

Contrary to the options above I just happened upon this as a possibility. Feels generally like an upgrade all round:

Fraser, Anderson, Laporte > Martial, Snoddy, VVD

Obviously involves a hit but to me it’s one sideways move and 2 upgrades.

What think you oh wise ones?
