Has Salah actually been good recently or lucky? Can't look past the fact that 2 dodgy penalties have inflated his points.

Have a look at his stats. XG, big chances, touches in the box etc.

I think he's definitely worth it

You don't have Hazard or Any City assets. Salah has Brighton who are solid at home. Can see a narrow win there. Palace have been the giant slayers recently. Don't see them winning at Anfield but still just a narrow Liverpool win. Same for Leceister.

I have Hazard but no City assets. I believe Salah to be a more reliable captaincy option than Hazard.

Agree somewhat with Palace and Leicester (will prob cap Kane and Hazard those 2 weeks) but Liverpool will slaughter Brighton IMO

Salah for the first 11 matches of the season: 67 points, 6.09 points per match, and 14.04 mins per point.

Salah for his last 10 matches: 84 points, 8.4 points per match, and 9.69 mins per point.

I'd really love some feedback on my wildcard team. I'm finding this really hard!

    Fab, Button
    Trent, Digne, Doherty, Jonny, AWB
    Salah, Hazard, Sane, Pogba, Richarlison
    Rashford, Jimenez, Barnes.

It would be quite nice to maybe upgrade Jonny and downgrade Barnes but at the same time I like the attacking option on the bench...

I don't believe Fabianski represents better value than Guaita or Etheridge going forward.

I wouldn't have double Wolves defence, no matter how attacking their WBs are, 1 CS in the last 13GWs

Thank you. I hadn't really thought much about keepers, kind of stubbornly sticking with the view that Fabs has been the best over the last few years and that won't change....

I'll definitely give the others a look.

I don't think I want double Wolves either, but I'm struggling to find particularly strong options otherwise

        Thanks!

I like the midfield but I think you need a premium striker. Not sure how you could get one in, maybe dowgrade Pogba as you have Rashford? I think you've done well with the team value you have though.

Same , its so difficult! yours isnt bad although i would have Kane if possible

i wrote this earlier to someone else...be interesting to see your thoughts? just my opinion of course.

i've been swapping and changing and justifying the big hitters for 4 days now....not sure if this helps but i managed to convince myself the following:

      I chose:
      Salah - is salah
      Kane - fixtures and form
      Pogba - Fixtures and form
      Sane - Best City asset

      Left out:
Hazard - many people have said you either go with or go without...i'm going without, fixtures arent the easiest (arsenal and city)...and i really fear that Benitez will just do his utmost to stop him and park the bus, we've all seen Hazard in recent weeks against parked buses. I also just feel Chelsea not as free flowing attacking machine as City, spurs, pool and utd recently and dont have as good fixtures
      .
Auba - i had him recently but moved him to Kane, Arsenal don't turn up every week and have tougher fixtures as opposed to spurs and the other top 6.

Sterling: I wanted him but chose Sane to have 1.8m to spend elswhere.

Aguero: i believe this season Sane and sterling have higher ceilings as well as Kane tbh

which left me with this team:
      Gauita/Fab
Lovren(to become Gomez next week) Taa Doherty Wb Bed
      Salah Sane Pogba Camarasa ?
      Arnie Kane ?

Until I found about Ings injury i had Sterling and Ings as these last 2. so then i decided to go for Aguero as my final big hitter and getting Delefeu as my 4th mid (had 16.9m) but i was just unsure on both picks, but after watching the City game yesterday I managed to fit KDB and Rashford who i think are both great options. if KDB isnt ready vs wolves i can swap to Eriksen after the Utd match.

I think Eriksen + Rashford looks like a strong choice there.

Unfortunately my team value is really low so I'm struggling to match you on this one!

I think the main concern is with the big hitters and whether Hazard will bite you, but that's really hard to predict!

Hope it works out for you.... I like it overall!

No need to go with 8 attacker's imo.

All three can play at the same time

Best thing about Rashford is he can play on the left or right or as the centre forward. He's definitely not nailed, but more likely to start than the other attackers imo.

      1. QuintonFortune25

Plus, I just watched an interview of OGS and he discussed how he is helping Rashford to be calm and composed in front of goal. Rashford himself told OGS he was snatching at chances and OGS is the expert at keeping composed and finishing.

The goal against Newcastle shows Ole's influence on Rashford already, he was completed relaxed in the finish. I think this suggests Ole can develop him into a more lethal finisher and will enjoy working with him.

I'm expecting big things from Rashford over the next few weeks.

Hi can I get anyone's thoughts on KDB. Yes it was against Rotheram but he was so pleasing on the eye. Pep made him captain and was full of praise. The only thing that is stopping me from bringing him in is I'd never captain him as I'd always prefer Salah/Kane for example.

Yeah but who to bench then - Digne, Alli?

Regarding forwards - I ditched Aguero as premium attacker way back and never looked back, Wilson, Mitro and Arny and as of latest Rashford provided solid returns upfront and going 5 premium mids has been my prefered option (only Alli was a really bad pick but hopefully with Son gone he will start scoring big)

Anderson much better stats last 6 than Rich. Is he an option?

I don't quite have enough for him, but I am on a wildcard so could maybe find some wiggle room if he's especially important

If OGS plays Rashford, Lukaku and Sanchez together then Spurs will rip Man Utd apart.
Some hard working players such as Lingard or even Mata may get the nod this week.

West Ham's fixtures turning and form poor so, Anderson out for:

    a) Siggy
    b) Richarlison

It's making me wanna waste a transfer on one of these just to downgrade them to someone who's easier to bench!

B F (Brighton usually score at home) A (Watford may well score a goal)

Very strong bench if you need to call on it...

Tammy Abraham to Wolves. This will affect Jiminez's game time. Probably not in the short term, but he will no longer be a nailed on starter.
