Our regular feature, Fantasy Premier League Question Time, returns ahead of Blank Gameweek 31.

There’s plenty to ponder for Fantasy managers at this point of the season, be it chip strategy, the international break, Champions League-influenced fixture congestion and, of course, which players to target for this weekend’s matches.

We’ve assembled another panel of familiar names to share their opinions on your questions, which you can submit in the Google form below.

Who’s on the panel this week?

Chief FPL Manager – A member of the Fantasy community with a huge Twitter following, “Chief” runs the FPL Hints website and has six top 1% finishes to his name – one of which was an overall rank of 110th in 2011/12.

Holly Shand – Founder of the popular Fantasy Football Community website and video star for Official FPL. Currently sits inside the top 5k after a 102-point Gameweek 30.

Joe – Scoutcast regular and the host of the excellent series, Meet the Manager. Joe is a fine manager in his own right, boasting a best-ever overall FPL rank of 840th in 2013/14 and having six other top 10k finishes to his name.

    Already have Pereira and Maddison and 0 Bournemouth so I'm leaning to option A.

    Current set up for GW31 (planning on FH32, WC34 & BB35):

    Robertson - TAA - Perreira - Doherty (Blanks) - AWB (Blanks)
    Salah - Hazard - Madisson - F. Anderson - Son (Blanks)
    Vardy - Crouch - Jimenez (Blanks)

    1FT. A or B? Tempted to take the hit with B but could just ride out this GW with Crouch as my 11th player (1 pointer at best) and wait for the FT before GW33. Have 0.2 tied up in Jimenez.

    A) Jimenez > Wilson (free)
    B) Crouch & Son > Wilson & Fraser (-4)

    Has anyone been making a provisional GW32 team?

    The general consensus would be

    3 x MCI
    3 x MU
    3 X Chelsea
    2 x Wolves

    Having a big dilemma what to do with MCI.
    either
    Ederson, Sterling or Aguero
    Ederson, Laporte Sterling/Aguero
    The double up at the back seems a safer route than Sterling & Aguero and this proved it when they had a DGW few weeks back.

        Think Ozil would do well at Juve, Ronaldo used to love him at Madrid, and the pace/demand of Italian league football would suit him better than the PL.

      I don't see it.
      I mean, monster wages, and not exactly had a great last two seasons, not getting any younger, or better with injuries.

      Only possible thing, and not sure it's even allowed to happen, is a loan exchange type deal with Chelsea/Hazard.

    I'm really torn with these choices :

    Snodgrass & Higuain OR Hazard & Rondon. I can afford Haz & Higuain but not keen on double Chelsea to be honest.

    Rondon and Snodgrass stats are both very impressive.

      United - WAT wol - confirmed
      Chelsea - car BHA - extremely likely (90%+)
      Brighton - SOU che - extremely likely (90%+)
      City - ful CAR - highly likely (80%+)
      Cardiff - CHE mci - highly likely (80%+)
      Palace - HUD tot or HUD new - pretty likely (70%+) but HUD tot much more probable
      Spurs - liv CPL - quite likely (60%+)
      Watford - mun FUL or mun SOU - quite likely one or other (55%), each equally probable
      Fulham - MCI wat - less likely (27%)
      Soton - bha wat - less likely (27%)
      Newcastle - ars CPL - very unlikely (10%).

      I probably wouldn't as you only need one FT to get 11 out in GW33.

      That means they have to score 2 more than thier appearance points and only one week to do it in if that makes sense. No defender worth the risk this week IMO and many won't have 11 out anyway

      Well, yes, lots.

      I wouldn't touch Chelsea or Leicester defenders and would have a defence composed entirely of West Ham and Liverpool.

      The Chelsea attackers @ Everton are there (I think) rather because you want to use all the budget than anything else. I'd be doubling the Leicester attack and adding Barnes of Burnley I think. Which would probably mean losing Mané in favour of 2 Liverpool defenders.

      These 'upgrades' would mean spending less of your budget, of course. But you are after points. Spending all your budget can be a big red herring with the FH.

        Can see Liverpool conceding tbh and would rather have Mane than Salah due to their opponents this weekend being weaker down Mane's side (if I'm not mistaken) and Mane's form and confidence. Can see the argument for doubling up on WHU defs for the week, but I can smell a Maguire goal this week and yep ok Azpi's there because of wanting to use up the budget, though if picking no Everton attackers then it feels logical to have a Chelsea def in there by default if not on merit. West Ham defence has been just awful recently, horrible stats. Only got Rice on the bench for his hint of goal threat.

        Double Leicester attack v Burnley is brave, I'm not all that convinced Leicester will do well at Turf Moor. Still debating whether or not Vardy is a good pick this week tbh. What fills you with confidence ?

            Nice work Annie. I liked the look of Vardy for the last 2 but with Jimenez, Barnes and Aguero up front there wasnt an easy way to manoeuvre him into my team. Good luck in 31.

              Thanks, need it. Higuain hasn't been that good for me, just one goal and little else. Hoping he's out in a way as I can ignore Chelsea then and get Wilson for Higuain. Did you get Jimenez points last week?

                A little unclear on Higuain currently, will find out more soon enough I'm sure.

                Yes got Jimenez points and capped Sterling so had a good week, up to around 2k now which is new territory for me so hoping I can maintain and achieve a top 10k rank at the end of the season.

    I have 5 players with games in GW31 (TAA, Robertson, Salah, Anderson and King). I have 2 FT so can get that to 7,

    Question is, is it worth deploying my Free Hit this GW? I can always save my 2 FT to get in Aguero for the DGW?
