FPL Think Tank – Double Gameweek 32

We are bringing back Fantasy Premier League ‘Think Tank’ in time for the Double Gameweeks ahead.

With Gameweek 32 chocked full of additional fixtures, which can be found here, Fantasy managers have plenty of questions.

In order to get a idea of the Fantasy Football Scout consensus on these issues, you can create your own poll and customise what answers are available.

Later in the week we will pick our favourite ones and publish them in an article for you all to vote in.

    Looking at the DGW 35, I cannot see any good fixtures for any DGW team, given its WC GW 34 and BB 35 strategy, this looks like it won’t be much value at all.
    Given I’m already committed to the FH this GW now, I think I may have played the chips differently now.

      you don't need fixtures for BB, you want teams with 2 fixtures which can give you cheap players for bench (which you would never play otherwise) that will give you 4-5p each.

      I recognised this a while back and decided to use my wildcard building up to last week and blank weeks when the fixtures swung for a lot of teams. Worked pretty well initially but By time 31 came around had a few, Anderson I didn’t want any more. He did outscore Fraser etc so bit lucky there!

        Think he's too explosive to ignore, they need to improve think they will, wanted kane but I had to sacrifice extra positions and that 11 looks good with son in it.

          I had Kane in my FH team for a while, but I just think away at the meanest defence in the league who are scrapping for the title, and then home to an improving Palace team, don't exactly fill me with confidence. And it's not like they're even in good form at the mo.

      I prefer Alli to son as he has some catching up to do and Sons streaky spell seems to have ended since Kane’s come back. Kane is bit to expensive for me this week. Alli we know works well with him and has history against palace, everyone surely remembers that goal.

    What do you think of this Free hit team for Gw32 - my aim is:
    - getting 11 DGW players
    - getting Aguero Sterling Ederson
    - getting Hazard and chelsea defender if possible
    - getting Pogba and Rashford
    - getting some Wolves cover - 2 or 3 out of Jiménez Jota Doherty

    Hi all!

    Just signed up yesterday, so this is my first post regarding FPL. Like most of you I'm working on my Free Hit team, and struggling since my poor TV means I can't afford solid Spurs options like Kane, Eriksen or Alli.

    Currently going for a 4-3-3 but havn't seen many other 4-3-3 FH teams. Just find it harder to find a 4th midfielder around 6.0 than another premium defender. Any suggestions?

      Don’t like double Chelsea defence.
      Schlupp potentially better attacking potential than AWB
      Consider Jota as 4th mid - I’m not convinced Nuno will rotate as much as others think and Jota has been on fire last few weeks
      Rashford not fully fit

      Think I'm more drawn to Zaha with that Udders fix. Burnley away and Utd looking for revenge tempers my feelings towards the Wolves boys.

    Close to getting it now I think, would prefer an extra attacker, but think Azpi is best Chelsea option.

    That 4th mid spot is a problem, it’s son, who I don’t particularly want, Mili, same story or fodder. But then no 4th defender I particularly want either. Tempted with Zaha over Rash, with united defender instead.

        Yeah I do understand that. I myself am only going with Ederson. I just don't get the Kepa + Luiz / Azpi double up in most teams. Money could be spent boosting other areas of the team. Bearing in mind that Chelsea conceded 2 vs out of form Everton and 4 against Bournemouth

            have been seeing quite a few double ups recently and wondering why. And in most cases, it's not because they have 3 city players. They usually end up having Laporte there.

      I prefer 3 City attackers.
      Hazard & kepa + Luiz.

      Reasons:
      A. Cardiff & Brighton are pathetic goalscoring wise.

      B. Fulham & Cardiff dgw is fine Manchester City under Pep is a unique chance imo to go all out attack.
      So going Raz + Kun + Bilva

        Hmm that's another thought process.

        I do agree that Cardiff and Brighton are pathetic upfront but Chelsea isn't a fortress either.

        Most of us would actually love 3 City attackers. It's just the 3rd one being a massive minefield that's keeping me away atm and Ederson provides a certain security.

          If you watch City matches against minnows (no offense) they tend to concede a stupid goal.

          So I'm more keen on maximizing attacking points. cS drying up in general too.

          Chelsea double up is strategic imo.
          Luiz great goal/assist threat.
          Kepa playing Cardiff & Brighton having dodgy penalty takers too.
          So you know what I'm thinking 😉

          Hazard is enough of attack too.

          Don't trust United, spurs etc to keep CS too
          So....

            Yeah the issue with the CS and defenders is I don't quite see a sure guarenteed CS route sadly.

            I have Luiz but I'm currently holding Ederson > Kepa as I'm inclined against double Chelsea defenders. Kepa is dodgy in saving penalties too hehe.

            I do agree about City's defense (owned Laporte for ages esp through the horrible dry spell) but it seems like they have gotten better recently which tempts me..

            Personally I might go the cheap route of Lindelof and AWB / Schlupp atm

        That's true. Though Pep's rotation esp with FA Cup and Champions League is bound to affect at least 1/3 of the players listed.
