FPL Question Time – Consult our panel after Kane injury

The Fantasy Premier League community is now full of questions concerning one man: Harry Kane (£12.5m).

The Tottenham forward was taken off with a serious-looking injury in Tuesday night’s Champions League win over Manchester City.

He had become the staple of many a Wildcard draft in recent days, but is now unlikely to play in Double Gameweek 34.

That has left Fantasy managers wondering what to do with the spare cash.

Thankfully, we’ve assembled another panel for you to consult in Question Time.

Who’s on the panel this week?

    I'm proper annoyed with Kane. Getting injured has ruined my plans. Wildcard was done on Sunday, all set for this week and then the captain gets injured.

    I'm expecting Sterling and Aguero to be rested this weekend too.

      I think/hope/pray Aguero will play v Palace. Seems to me that Pep doesn’t trust Jesus and it’s another vital fixture.

            I think he’ll get around (hopefully at least) 60 mins v Palace. Play til it’s won. Still, feel somewhat tempted by KDB!

      I'm annoyed for different reasons - I was planning on not having him anyway and going against the template with Aguero + double up Spurs mids instead and now lots are going to go down that same route anyway.

      Very similar to mine except I've got TAA instead of robbo and Laporte over Vert and Foster over Gunn so hopefully it's decent.

      Is vert nailed? Not convinced on Laporte myself but struggling for alternatives.

    Who is on pens behind Kane? SP tab says Alli but im not sure, in any case if he isnt on the pitch you reckon it goes to Eriksen?

    BB 35 2.0 ITB - Swap Vardy for either Auba ou Laca in DW (Europa league minutes to be monitored)

      Yeah looks good although I’d prob want dunk & duffy rather than Ryan so maybe have ederson rather than Laporte and dunk rather than Ryan but really just my preference

    I can’t see sterling starting against palace - not when they play spurs twice again followed by Utd

    And I don’t see any of those games where city score a fist full

    Therefore I’m at the point where I think I’m going without city

    Likewise last time alli and Kane were injured spurs continued to win and son and Eriksen were those that returned

    Based on the above I’m considering

    Fraser sterling > eriksen VC son C

    Sure it’s a risk but one I hope to pay off over the dgw particularly HUD & BRI

    Is this madness?

    Current team is somewhat lacking in dgw players no WC

      Not madness. I considered it for a while then decided against it. But
      it's probably the only DGW ever where it's not madnes to go without City. And if that squad comes off -and not unlikely that it could- would be a huge rank boost.

        Yeah I’m not having a great season I feel risks need to be taken

        I’d bring in Jiménez and deeney too for the dgw

        I guess it’s all or nothing

        Haz can become sterling after the dgw

      I was doubling up with sterling and KUN ..but now due to the conjusted and relatively tighter ,tougher fixtures I'm seriously considering going without City...but big chance I chicken out and atleast get one city player..But I think going without can also work well

    Morning guys,

    Chasing a 70 point deficit in my ML so need to go for some differentials as rival is on wildcard aswell whilst trying to balance it with leading in a different ML. Thiughts on the below?

    D) Sterling + Vardy -> Hazard + Firmino

    I have £1.5m ITB with the above so could turn Dunk to Vertonghen for example. I'd just be a bit cautious about his playing time so may run with the above for this week and re-evaluate ahead of the DGW.

    GW35: Murray -> Deeney
    GW36: Eriksen -> Salah (TC)

    Could go with Laporte over Kolasinac. But that would be at cost of Salah. Not sure City will get that many CS anyway and Kola also offers a decent attacking threat
