Perez as an OOP Striker

It's a wait and see situation I think. Need to assess Perez over the first few GWs. Tielemans looked good last season but if Perez plays as a second striker and gets in the box as often as he did at NEW then he offers great value with LEI's counterattack plays.

I’ve been pondering the same question:

Choosing Pérez because he is a forward and he is supposed to score and help Vardy

Tielemans is a good player, but will be shooting from outside the box and might the guy that gets lots of assists to the assist- generating zero points

Thing is Both should have a good season. Perez will probably be streaky and Teilemans will be steady. Might really test people’s patience. Also Pérez might make way for Barnes to get minutes and that will freak people out

If you see Perez as 2nd striker it's him, if not t'other.

Perez easily imo. He scored 12 goals last season for Newcastle...

Absolutely? The best way of doing this is to assess the cap effect and that's not easy. I rate Mo better because even if you take Mo as being capped half, in some iffy games too, his value beats Robbo due to the 'more cash buys this level of heft' effect. Hit the calculator, you'll soon see what I mean.

A between those two choices

Sounds like a good plan.

1) gives you time to evaluate Pulisic
2) maybe Fraser is too awesome to transfer
3) maybe Lucas can score you 3 goals before Son gets eligible

If Pulisic takes off early, all the Yanks will get nationalistic and raise the price to 8.0M in one weekend, so watch out

Digne+Robbo

Coleman will not be a clean sheet machine- they lost Zouma and Gueye in Goodison. They will have a Bush Leaguer like mason Holgate filling those spots.

Just watched extended highlights Brightons latest friendly and wasn’t too impressed. I’d look for alternative to Murray to a 6.5m.

3 m in the bank seems excessive. My tip would be to put as much money in your starting 11 as possible. If you're planning future transfers, rather than save money in your team, look to save a transfer in gw2 and allow yourself to make 2-3 changes in gw3 for free or -4.

It's an excellent starting lineup. I'd just question the front line - Wesley and Deu in particular. I'd prefer Wood and King.
If you are looking for an extra 0.5 or 1m to upgrade, you could switch a Liv defender to VVD or Digne to Coleman.
But if you don't change anything it's still very nice.

Personally, I have no faith in strikers under 6.5. Either go 6.5 or get a 4.5 benchie and beef up your midfield.
