FPL Question Time – Consult our panel ahead of Gameweek 1

FPL Question Time returns for the 2019/20 campaign and we are inviting Fantasy Football Scout users to submit their questions ahead of Friday’s Gameweek 1 deadline.

Be it premium midfielders, ‘big six’ assets, five at the back, £4.0m options or any other subject you’re musing on, be sure to ask your question via the Google Form below.

As per last season, we have recruited the services of some familiar names from our site and on social media to share their opinion on the subjects you raise.

Who’s on the panel this week?

FPL General – Contributor to the Scout site who has three finishes inside the top 400 in the last five seasons and who has a huge following on Twitter. General – aka Mark – also appeared on the official FPL Show last season.

Who Got the Assist? – Tom and Nick run one of Twitter’s most active Fantasy accounts and run their very own blog, also producing an excellent regular podcast.

FPL Family – Lee and Sam run the popular Fantasy podcast and Twitter account. They were guests on the FPL Show last season.

Ted / Rotation’s Alter Ego – Moderator and the site’s recently appointed Assistant Community Manager. Ted finished 633rd in the world last season.

James / HamezMace  – A long-term member of and frequent poster to the Fantasy Football Scout site.

Tom / avfc82 – A long-term member of and frequent poster to the Fantasy Football Scout site. Tom has a remarkable five top 1,000 finishes to his name in ten years of playing FPL.

        A KDB was playmaker today and rate Wilson ahead of King. Ings looks in good form playing for attacking team.

          I think I agree. I just can't shake the feeling that arsenal will smash the first 2 gws.

          I've had a few drafts with Laca and Auba. The easy switch to kane is tempting too.

      I'm going TAA over Robertson by virtue of him delivering the goods last season. Having said that, I can't see a 7m defender being a season keeper. I made this mistake with Alonso and Baines. They'll be a stage in the season where funds are needed elsewhere and it'll be the best way to release that dosh.

        Vvd is a better pick then Taa. Last season due to injuries throughout the season, taa played a more minutes then he would have if gomez, matip & lovren were fit.

        One of the biggest mysteries last season was why VVD didn’t get more attacking return from set pieces....don’t be surprised if he puts that right this season.

        TAA should start almost all of the easy games (at least until ucl starts) he gives them more going forward which is sometimes needed to break down teams that sit back. An early sub might actually be a plus as it gives him a better chance of a cs. He is also on corners which is a big plus, especially when VVD is on your team. No Mane will slightly dent his appeal in gw 1.

      How much do Chelsea and Liverpool care about the stupid UEFA Super Cup? Jetting off to Istanbul midweek after the opening game is bonkers. Will they play a lot of squad players?

          Auba Kane are there for weeks 1 and 2 and then Auba becomes Sterling in 3 who rotates captaincy nicely with Kane. I’m not seeing a whole deal of difference between Mo and Sterling and to me they are a binary choice for value and I want money in forward line for a premium - I did very well from them last time.

          Team above isn’t what I jntend. Only got there by shuffling Fraser to Siggy to see how it looked as not that keen on Bournemouth.

          Shaw? Not keen on Zinc at all and I’m playing around with 11.0/11-5 to see what I can get. United May be better defensively this time and I see Shaw as likelier for attacking returns than AWB who has no track record that way.

        If you swap Button with Pope, you would have 2 perfectly rotating GK’s and Burnley have a better fixture to begin with than Villa
