I've gone Lundstram, but there's still too much uncertainty. Lundstram did however play a lot of pre-season.

I'm on Rico purely for attacking threat over the other two... But I don't think it matters too much either way.

I'm not trolling, to be honest, I don't have any evidence other than the Whatsapp group I'm in where a single Bournemouth fan suggested he wouldn't start. That doesn't mean he won't start, I just felt maybe a Bournemouth fan may have a better understanding of their club.

It's my opinion. You can either choose to ignore it, or move along.

going by preseason its a close call with murray/Wesley - though murray gets nod due to experience PL IMHO..

Trossard is probably the firmest attacking 6m to balance Barkley rotation.

Agree that i shouldnt double on the Brighton.

        Any better 6m than wesley/murray?

Or do i go KWP >Zinchenko to free .5?

Currently on this dilemma. It basically depends on whether Kane is going to be his classic self banging in goals up top or he's going to be dropping deep again.

If it's the latter than Moura could be an excellent alternative. No Alli or Son for a few weeks too. Suppose its easy to remove Kane if blanks than it is to bring him later.

      1. Red Rock
        • 6 Years

Exactly my fear, I don't know the stats but I wonder if Kane performs worse without Ali, Son around him?

Towards the end of last season Spurs seemed to play with Son and Moura as the attacking leads with Kane dropping deeper. Bit of a worry if it carries on that way. Saying that, with Kane on penalties he's always in with scoring.

He's a good choice, I guess what I'm asking is whether your starting 11 is good enough to justify having so much focus on 3 players.

You could go Pepe for example and give yourself 1.5 to spend elsewhere

        1. semiconductor
          • 9 Years

    Whats better:
    A) Diop, Dunk (rotating 4.5's - 4/5th defs), Barkley
    B) VVD, Lundgren, Hayden

    A allows me to have a fluid formation (3-5-2, 4-5-1 or 4-4-2).
B allows me stronger 4-4-2 with junk bench.

Eddie Howe on Charlie Daniels: “The positive boost that has given everybody cannot be underestimated. It’s a huge boost. When I talk about the players that we’ve missed, his experience (is important).”

With Adam Smith also capable of playing LB, I'm not that confident on Rico.

    .
Hanley has the 2nd highest number of minutes in pre-season for Norwich. I know it's Norwich, but it looks like he'll get minutes.
Also Lundstrum has played the 3rd highest number of minutes in pre-season for Sheffield United. I heard he had a particularly bad game against Stade de Reims, but no idea what impact that will have, if any.

How many games do you think each of these 4.0 DFs will get at the start of the season

    Rico

    Any ideas would be welcomed

    1. Piggs Boson

I would see PVA Dann Sakho Ward being Palace's backline soon. Sakho is back in training. Kelly won't last long at all imo.

Daniels is back now, and Howe has said he's been sorely missed. (See my above comment). So can't see many minutes for Rico either, especially as Adam Smith is accomplished at LB.

Lundstrum might be okay. Not sure how nailed he is, but he's played a lot of pre-season.

Hanley may be the most secure for minutes, if you dare take a Norwich defender. He's played the 2nd highest number of minutes of any player at Norwich.
