          Guilbert rotation with Montoya and wood my favourite 6.5 striker. Close between him and jota but jota’s thursdays put me off a little

        Looks like a 3-3-3... some weaknesses there to accommodate Salah/Auba/Kane/Wilson. I think I'd be looking to downgrade one of these to upgrade to a premium defender and replace McGinn.

      I would sub Felipe in for gw2 benching Perez or Wood. Then sell Wood before gw3. I like his first fixture and don't mind him v Arsenal either in gw2. Could downgrade him to fodder before gw3 and upgrade Duffy to whichever City defender is looking good, after they've gotten the Spurs fixture out of the way. Play 4-5-1 after that.

          Yeah Duffys opening 3 fixtures are pretty good and Woods first 2 aren't bad. Duffy is a risk at 5.0 I couldn't see any other 5s or 4.5s for first few weeks that I liked more. He's a minor goal threat too

          But my plan is to shift off him pretty soon. This is more about taking a punt on Woods preseason form and scouting for the best City D which I could use up to 7 mil for if I downgrade Wood.

        Quite like it mate. I've gone off Barkley myself, could come back to bite me but the fixtures aren't great and he's tough to move off you'd need a double fixture unless another 6.0 or 5.5 emerges. Similar concern with Jota but at least there are options to transfer

            You may be trying to play 15 - play 11. Pick 3/3 to down/up grade. First 11 is the most important for gws 1-3/4. Don't try to play a whole season before we know what form is out there.
