    1.) Pick Walker and hope he plays until WC
    2.) Pick Laporte, with Dendoncker first sub.
    3.) Stay away from City def completely, go with a 4.5-5.5 option (Kiko, for example), and spread funds.

    Every team I see has Zinchenko...

    Mendys back in training...

    Cancelo and angelino can both play there...

    Zinchenko was terrible in the community shield

    Stones only has competition from Otamendi who seems very out of favour. and MAYBE at a push fernandinho could play CB but I see that as unlikely

    Stones is the natural partner for Laporte

    Am I looking at this wrong in thinking Stones is a better £5.5M option to get that city coverage?

      Stones doesn’t seem to be really favoured by Pep either based on previous rotations. I don’t think he’d be firm first choice over Otamendi. And I think Pep mentioned before that he can play Fernandinho as CB as well, probably more likely now that they have Rodri.

      I’ve quite frankly bailed on City defence because of this. Invested the money else where and will come back crying when Walker has kept his place and is the top scoring defender after the first few GWs

      Yea agree...the timing seems a little off for placing zincehnko into teams now that Cancelo is here....cancelo may not start the first game or 2 but I think he will be regular pretty soon as he was class at Juventus...only time will tell I guess

        don’t like coleman as his gametime may be in question. think digne is a far superior pick from everton but if 0.5 is unobtainable then there are probably better 5.5 options in man utd or tottenham or elsewhere. unless of course you plan on wildcarding 1st int break then punt fast and loose

      Ryan is a waste of .5M You're not going to play him in the first 14 game weeks. The two weeks Pickford's fixtures are bad Ryan's are worse. Just go with Button. Then you'll have 1M to upgrade Barkley to a more reliable Chelsea mid (not sure why you'd want any Chelsea mid at this point, but whatever)
