Which Watford players should FPL managers consider in 2019/20?

It’s as you were for Watford going into the start of the 2019/20 campaign.

At the time of writing and with just 24 hours before the transfer window closes, the Hornets had made only two first-team signings this summer – one of them Danny Welbeck.

Centre-half Craig Dawson (£5.0m) has arrived from West Bromwich Albion and he was the only player not on the books in 2018/19 who was involved in Watford’s final pre-season friendly against Real Sociedad last weekend.

Javi Gracia’s side are also set to be lining up in their familiar 4-2-2-2/4-4-2 shape, with the Watford boss having briefly experimented with a three-man backline in their penultimate friendly against QPR.

We can be fairly confident about the system and personnel going into Gameweek 1 and beyond, then, but what can Fantasy managers expect from Watford’s players this season and are they worthy of consideration?

        Check their line ups week by week in the league. Wilder rotates strikers a tonne. If someone doesn’r Score or assist he drops them it seems. He has 5 strikers on the books now it seems very risky. I have Robinson atm as he looks set to start the season after a strong pre season scoring every 66 mins but how long can that last ?

    So I have been on 3-4-3 which hasn’t changed in a while.
    I was just tinkering around with it and came up with this 4-4-2...

    I’ve basically dropped King and upgraded Rico > AWB and changed VVD > TAA...

    Hi, I'm a new member so interesting to read all of these posts. Where is the best place to start on the site for a newbie to ff scout?     questions - sacrifice siggy for a cheaper midfield and bring in kane in place of vardy? I fear a lack of kane as aside from city they've some nice home fixtures coming up and he could score big

      I like the team. Townsend would be the only one I would say is an issue. I would actually go for Perez instead. Use the .5 itb.

      team looks good aside from townsend who is historically average and in a poor attacking side who might be about to use their best players

      coleman to digne would be a good use of the 0.5

      You seem to have your structure, the players all have decent fixtures (bar heaton save points)
