Scout Members can now access Liverpool vs Norwich match data

Fantasy Football Scout Members can now access all the data recorded in Liverpool’s 4-1 win over Norwich City.

The Members Area already has a section dedicated to the match, which you can get to by CLICKING HERE.

The Reds thrashed the newly promoted side thanks to goals from Mohamed Salah (£12.5m), Virgil van Dijk (£6.5m) and Divock Origi (£5.5m).

However, as long-time users on site will know, there is more to a game than just who got the goals.

That’s why it is important to go through the data and assess which players excelled, or didn’t, in each area.

For example, not only can you see which players had the most shots in the match, you can filter these both by location and by quality.

The same goes for assist potential. Perhaps you are wondering if you picked the correct Liverpool full-back for your team in 2019/20?

Go to the Members Area and have a look at the data from the Friday night opener to see which one created the most chances, and which one fashioned

Perhaps you were frustrated with the fact that Liverpool were unable to keep a clean sheet against newly-promoted opposition?

The Fantasy Football Scout Members Area can help you assess whether or not this was a fluke or if Liverpool deserved to concede.

To do this, you can look at how many shots Norwich had in the game, where they took them from and whether they were of high quality or not.

Okay... Robbo to vvd and Jota to Origi (-4) done.

Only kidding. Enjoying this! gw has begun and all the tinkering is over. Norwich suprised me, might not be a bad team to watch at all. Pukki looks good.

Not really. Robbo was quite good attacking wise. It's just that Aarons is so good and fast that Robertson had to stay a little back. Besides, TAA looked very shaky defensively so I don't think he's going to play every game.

Who do we predict will be the pick from Chelsea's players?

    1. Helia
      • 8 Years
      4 years, 8 months ago

I think tammy upfront eventually and I really like the look of mount but that depends on how barkley is doing. Zouma at the back could be a bargain. Losing luiz hurts their attack id say more than it hurts there defence. He could play the ball out very well, but as far as defending goes, Zouma / Rudger would probably do better than rudiger luiz.

All a wait and see for me.

I'm happy not to have any of Liverpool defenders. Robbo and Gomez blanked. TAA got only 5 points for 7 mil (which is less than 60 minutes + CS combo). Only Van Dijk was worth it.
I gave armband to Salah and that enough for me. 24 points is a really nice haul.
Two years ago I picked Holding. He conceded 2 at home against Leicester. Last year my United defender didn't keep CS. Don't trust these Friday openers, I guess. XD

LiveFPL effective points gained lost is intriguing. My day seems to rest on the hope that Bournemouth blank.

Not sure the top 10k EO figures are entirely relevant to my team 🙂

I suppose you wait and see how AV shape up defensively and what the prognosis is. Spurs away is a decent benchmark probably

Short term Liverpool may not be cs heaven especially with Alisson out - surely he was a huge factor last season - it wasn’t all VVD

Yeh probably wise. One for the WC if it’s long term.
              Even at 4.6- 4.8 he’s good value.

Can’t see myself not doing it this week really if the injury is bad. Pragmatically he’s easily the best 4.5 out there.

It would land me on an awkward triple defence but double defence was a wait and see on City anyway if you follow.

I tend to favor the prevailing idea that Liverpool have too many attacking returns in them to make a GK worth the slot in your team. Even at 4.5, you're still locking yourself out from at least one player that's going to be phenomenal value. With a good GK pairing from two other teams, you should be able to get 15-20 CS in the season, which is what you'd get from Adrian, while still being able to have three of Salah, Mane, Robbo, VVD, TAA or even Firmino or Origi. If they come close to replicating last season's form, that'll do wonders for your FPL season.

Watched the whole game with no interruptions from the family.
I can give an honest view on key players.
A scoreline of 4.1 does not suggest much to say about Norwich but:
Pukki an accomplished player who can really play. 8/10 and at his price worth considering.
Steipermann wasted opportunities and subbed early. I still see him being a steady scorer over the season. at 5.5 pretty good.
Buendia involved continually. a bit expensive at 6 though.
Aarons pretty good forward but had his hands more than full defensively.
Cantwell a star in the making but a bit early atm.
    Central defenders shocking.
Origi would be playing full time for most premiership clubs. MOTM for me.
    Defensively Pool surprisingly shakey.
TAA will get better hauls than last year if he keeps his place. Poor defending.
Robbo steady and will get points.
Impressed with Mane in his cameo.
Firmino could have had 20 points if things went his way.
Fabinho class but not an FPL player.
I have VVD and he might get more attacking points this year than last. I chose robbo over TAA though.

What a freak injury, it’s his kicking foot that goes, not his standing foot that’s holding all his weight

This could be tricky to manoeuvre out of, but then again a city def other than Laporte might emerge as nailed

Thats how you can tell its an achilles, it goes on the step back with his right, but hes already in the kicking motion, which is why the fall is so awkward

            Yeah 6 months. Its nasty...

From BBC: "It felt like something hit him and that's not a good sign," said Klopp.

Telltale sign of the achilles. My buddy just did it in basketball last month. Drained a three, took two steps back and went down. Its that back planting motion that will do it

Yeah Achilles is a tendon rather than a muscle so it’s blood flow is tiny in comparison which makes tendons an absolute nightmare to heal

Tennis elbow & golfers elbow are similar in that they can actually take years to heal properly

I did something weird to my right Achilles about 3 months ago, doing (front) barbell squats I lost balance on the way back up and the bar fell forward, stupidly I tried to stop/catch it rather than let it go, and it somehow drove all the force down into my right Achilles

I’d say it was nowhere near a tear but it was well over 8 weeks before it stopped feeling like it wasn’t right

                Moral of the story: #PrayForAllisonAndPoolDefs

The other scary thing is - how the hell do they prevent it occurring again ?!

He was literally just kicking the ball FFS, it’s not as if he was tackled etc

Must be unbelievably disturbing for Allison personally - it’ll be in the back of his head every time he kicks a ball for the rest of his life surely

It's just a bit pathetic. Klopp has even called it a calf injury, yet you give us chapter and verse on your own Achilles.

And you mean elicit. Illecit means illegal.

I suppose where the post lies on the scale of ‘relevant’ to ‘pathetic’ in terms of the topic being discussed is quite subjective - I’d certainly not put it where you have, especially given the subject of the thread is Allison’s potential Achilles injury 😉

I’d also not personally describe two sentences as ‘chapter & verse’ but again, it’s not quite an objective term and therefore is subject to interpretation...

I must say, it really is unique to see this type outpouring of high negative emotion though... for a formerly anonymous poster to go from zero to almost a page of posts, all fixated on a subsection of a discussion of one of the highest profile injuries in recent FPL history... fascinating 😉

That’s the spirit 🙂 Get in on the discussion - that’s a much more constructive contribution than you’ve managed to date... albeit it’s perhaps not the most descriptive and possibly asks more questions than it answers - for example:

No it was actually in a swimming pool would you believe! A diving board accident no less, quite traumatic

It went back in again though luckily, but the bad thing is that it’s dislocated multiple times since then

One of the bad things with a dislocated shoulder is that when it goes once, all of the ligaments get stretched and loosened, which unfortunately makes it much more prone to reocurrring if you don’t get surgery - depending on whether it’s an anterior or posterior dislocation - surgery apparently is much more effective for anterior dislocations

I read earlier only 2 in 3 come back from it.. hate those odds.. Bravo was out for 12 months but returned at 36, so I think long term its just a freak injury. They cant rush him back though..

Jesus... man city’s Title odds being slashed today I’d imagine - Adrian isn’t terrible, but Allison surely is worth 5-10 points alone over a season

Im not going to worry, I expected some regression from last year anyway. As long as we get a 4.5 keeper out of it..

Erm Klopp already confirmed it's a calf injury. He's holding his calf too in the footage.

We don't need to we already know it's not his achilles. What matters is what grade of the calf injury. Normally is a month out but if he tore it could be 2-3 months

Have you ever known a club to declare a calf injury only to find out later it was an achilles injury for a player?

Where is your achilles tendon? Mine is on the back of my calf.

“He thought something hit him in the calf, that’s how it felt, not what happened.

“That’s never a good sign. It is probably more than a strain. It doesn’t look too good.”

klopp looks likes hes indicating a achilles injury to me.

I tore my calf receiving a throw in.......... so i was static, took a couple of steps forward to receive the ball and my calf pinged on me. I was sure that the guy marking me had booted me off the ball so I turned around and was ready to smack him one until I realised that my calf was making its way up my leg toward the back of my knee.

Just saying, could be a calf tear or could be an achiles

and it was a partial tear. was out for about a month.

both with the achiles and calf it feels like someone or something has hit you on the back of the leg.

and when I did my calf, a teammate of mine was convinced that I had ruptured my achiles as he had exactly the same symptoms as me the season before. In his case he was out for many months and he too incorrectly thought that the guy marking him had booted him in the back of the leg. His last contribution for the season was a partially ruptured achiles and a red card as he managed to kick the poor mug who was closest to him the stomach 😀

True, keep in mind he was planting backwards and pushing off, not stretching the calf moving forward. Need a scan to tell but I wouldnt get hopes up

Then a likely blank is on the cards and a VAR review yellow card for a foul on Grealish...
