Thoughts on zinchenko. Nailed but will get max 6pts. Worth keeping possibly for the season just for the cs?

he can get assists but don't think he's a season keeper personally

I'm keeping unless on WC or he looks to have lost his place. Ceiling is higher than 6 points though - looked good going forward and will get a handful of assists.

Why will he only get a maximum of 6 points each week? He picked up a few assists last season.

Until he looks like being replaced he's a nailed on pick every week.

When ordering my bench, I couldn't find anything scanning the stats that indicated Hayden had any chance of returning vs. Arsenal.

Dendoncker had that disallowed goal and looked to push forward at times, having 2 shots & 3 pen box touches. Looks alright but doubt United concede more than 1.

KWP & Cathcart will both be limited to 1 point returns imo, but if KWP looked any good going forward vs. Villa then I still reckon he has more attacking potential than Hayden.

I guess that makes my answer: Dendoncker & KWP, although not much hope with any of them. 🙂

His average position vs Leicester was quite encouraging tho - almost level with Jimenez, plus a couple of shots including one in the box. Out of the options given, he's surely a starter for the poster.

    Morning Chaps,

Came in at 593k thanks to Kane, bit of an odd start to the season if you ask me, just going to leave my team for now.

    Pope
    Robbo | VVD | Zinchenko | Digne | Montoya
    Sterling (VC) | Salah (C) | Fraser
    Wilson | Jota

    Button | Donk | Perez | Greenwood

Hoping Bournemouth bounce back against Villa, will most likely make a move for Rashford/Martial in the coming weeks.

    That is all.

Benching Perez against a team that has just conceded 4 to United. Leicester attack arent below or perhaps they could be better than United's attack. Think he should play.

I have an identical team except Martial instead of Fraser.

Am struggling to decide who to bench between Montoya / Perez / Jota

Montoya - West Ham leaky and playing advanced
Perez - Didn't impress against Wolves, but Chelsea's defence look pretty dire atm
Jota - Looked best in attack against Leicester

      Bit stuck TBH!

Not deluded to think that we are immune to relegation, but Im choosing to be more hopeful. Ralph is a quality manager, its the players who need to decide whther they want to play for their place in the PL or not.

Hope so too. Felt like the players were too much in "preseason" mode vs BUR, did not take the game by the scruff of the neck at all.
The sooner we take to 4-2-2-2, the better. Cant stand 3-4-3.
Hard to feel hopeful for the next 3/4 games though. Will keep in Adams in my squad though.

I'm actually quite found of the Saints but they have not been the same squad since Pellè left in 2016 to some shite Chinese club. The squads been filled with rejects rather than prospects which is what they are renowned for.

Management could have been better since Koeman left. Puel, Pellegrino and Hughes have been terrible for us.
Ralph looks like a very progressive manager, the right man. Questions remain on do we have the right players to play his way?

West Ham attackers don't seem at all settled so not sure Lanzini will remain nailed just yet. I'd hold off and see how they perform against Brighton (that's what I'm doing re. Haller). That said, having Lucas vs. City isn't ideal so if you think it's worth the risk then go for it!

            Since Auba joined Arsenal....

            Arsenal 5 - 0 Burnley (Auba 2 goals and 16 points)

            Arsenal 3 - 1 Burnley (Auba 2 goals 13 points)

            Burnley 1 - 3 Arsenal (Auba 2 goals 13 points).

Arsenal are still a big questionmark in their best starting 11, lots of rotation and key player positions have new signings (Pepe, Ceballos). They looked really poor against Newcastle, meanwhile Burnley have a starting 11 pretty much set in stone and have only conceded more than 1 one goal once in the last 7 games.

Got 91 points this week, very happy - Sterling, Salah, Kane doing wonders.

Worth transferring Kane out for Auba before then doing the reverse transfer after next week?

I am happy with the rest of my team and understand it may be worth saving a transfer but I can't help but think that Auba could seriously haul against Burnley whereas I can't see Kane doing the same away at City.

Anyone else reckon this Trossard bandwagon is highly influenced by the higher than average Brighton contingent running the site?

No beef intended just think its an interesting example of bandwagon influencing particularly if you watch the fantasy football scout videos/podcasts with Joe and David ( which are excellent). Both Brighton fans i believe. lol

If anyone is dumb enough to pick players that they don't even know based on other people's (admittedly very good fpl managers) recommendations then they are to blame. I really don't get people just lamely following or copying the crowd or the experienced fpl managers, surely you wanna beat them not just always be one step behind them

      1. BenjoBD
        • Fantasy Football Scout Member

agreed. Just reckon that particular pick will be higher amongst followers of FFS because of it. i don't have him. seen him in alot of teams.

Bit harsh to call us dumb
I don't think a lot of people picked him just because he was bigged up on the scoutcast, they picked him for a whole host of other reasons (which are also the exact same reasons why they were talking about him in the first place)
In fact I was actually annoyed that he was getting a lot of attention because he was pencilled into my draft beforehand and I thought that he could be a great differential

I said anyone who'd picked him just based on other people recommending him are dumb

    Debating whether to save FT this week and head into GW3 with 2 FTs;

    Pope
    VVD TAA Digne Dunk
    Salah(c) Sterling Barkley Perez
    Kane King

    Button Rico Wickham Dendoncker

Also, would you start Rico above anyone else? Barkley worries me slightly as I thought he looked pretty poor against United.
