Scoutcast discusses changing of the captaincy guard

Joe is joined by Karam and Tom from Who Got the Assist? for the latest episode of the Scoutcast tonight.

You can watch it on our YouTube channel from 8pm BST to 9pm BST.

As the Champions League is back on our screens, this episode will overlap with the European action and we will try to bring you regular updates from Manchester City and Tottenham’s matches.

Episode 303 marks a slight changing of the guard when it comes to the captaincy.

After a rotation of Liveprool and Manchester City players in the early rounds of the season, Arsenal are starting to creep into the equation some more.

What impact this should have on our transfers and armband decisions will be the task of Joe, Karam and Tom tonight.

After some impressive statistics in recent weeks, Riyad Mahrez (£8.5m) commands some of our time as we discuss if he’s worth signing.

There will also be time to have a weekly look at how defenders are getting on at both ends of the spectrum as well as the success of assets from newly-promoted teams.

People seem to be surprised that Spurs are losing.

Getting crushed, not just losing, at home. Bayern havent been all that this season and didnt replenish their squad over summer that well - Dont you remember Lewan complaining about it?

They got Coutinho, Pavard and L. Hernandez

Coutinho is very good, not great. Pavard is young, but coming into his own, same with Lucas Hernandez...a good refresh for them in terms of age but I think they'll struggle to get to the semifinals of the CL.

They lost James, Hummels, Robben and Ribery (3 of those likely over the hill now...but still, talented veterans)

Bayern Munchen are absolute class. Don't really know what people expected.

      Vertonghen 32, Toby 30, Lloris 32

      Their defence has deteriorated.

Hi....if I'm playing wildcard in the break, it is worth doing kdb to son, potentially getting kdb back on the wildcard?

Bought kdb for 9.6 and selling price is 9.8... thanks

Lloris should do better. It´s obvious by the shape of his body where he´s going to shoot.

Failing that it's Rico for me, only got 4.4m to spend and already own Kelly, Lundstrom and Guilbert 😀
