Is Abraham a better FPL asset at home or away?

With Manchester City and Liverpool meeting in Gameweek 12, Tammy Abraham (£7.9m) has been touted as one of the names to feature heavily in the captaincy debate.

Chelsea host Crystal Palace on Saturday lunch-time and a 12-point haul last time out for their number one centre-forward has only increased interest in him for the armband.

However, there are some managers put off by the disparity between Abraham’s attacking returns at Stamford Bridge and away from it.

Abraham scored 12 points in Chelsea’s 2-1 win at Watford

The former Aston Villa loanee has registered 11 attacking returns in as many league matches this season, nine of which have come on the road and only two at home.

As Gameweek 12 sees Crystal Palace make the short trip to Stamford Bridge, we will assess Abraham’s exploits at Chelsea’s home this season to see if he is likely to disappoint his owners there once again.

    Original plan was to get Jiminez and Maddison for Greenwood and Sterling for -8 as think can make back quickly and prefer structure. Would allow Diop to Robertson next week on free,

          Don't we all.
          2 big mistakes I made this year.
          1) Getting Sterling after GW1 when I was convinced Mane and KDB were going to be my main guys I reckon it cost me 60 points.
          2)Moving out KDB because I thought I would have the funds to get him back. WRONG! 12 points in transfers alone.

          Bad luck is one thng. Stupidity is another!

      He's done great of course but the 0.9 rise is a bit OTT imo - think the train got out of control slightly. McGinn has shadowed him closely pretty much all season and has risen just 0.3 from 5.5.

      The Leicester mids, Martial and Trossard all offer good value at much the same price. Also calculating that Chelsea are going to have a real fixture pile up soon.

    1) Use my FT on DSilva for a Leicester asset or McGinn
    2) Save FT and play 5 at the back or 4 at the back and Cantwell.

    If Mount will miss longer period and we are selling... isnt Martial better choice than Pulisic?

    Reason:
    I think Martial wont play so much in Europe if they get up to 10pts tomorrow.
    Pulisic and Chelsea however will rotate due to their heavy battle in CL.

      Still think Pulisic would be the better pick though. Chelsea have a chance of an actual push for the title. Need their strongest XI playing most games.

    Just saw the highlights of the Ajax-Chelsea game. What a mad,mad night.

    Jorginho is the coolest pen taker in the league.

    Lampard is an exceptional manager and coach. I had my doubts early on but I cant see him not winning the league one day.

    This Ajax team are incredibly gifted as well. So young an full of talent. Ziyech and Tadic class.

    Van de Beek still underrated. Could walk into the XI of any of the top six.

      Lampard has done but it's difficult to judge how good he truly is at this stage

      Let's see how he copes when things gets tough. Let's also see how he does when he's given a big pot of money. Who does he bring in, who does he sell. How does he manage a squad with players with big egos.

      All to be found out. Not saying he can't do it but top managers who go on to win things will be able to do all the above well

        Agree a lot to what you've said. Its been a few months, after all, hard to judge and perhaps my comment ahout "winning" the league is a tad too soon haha.

        I just see a lot of good in what he's done. Player management, he's done a brilliant job. He seems to understand and cater to each player's needs and what not. ChO not given automatic blind starts, as well as giving big money signing Pulisic time to bed in. Alonso actually playing decently. And a lot of other things.

        I was very critical of Chelsea for sacking Sarri, but hey, they seem to be doing well, what do I know xD.

      Possible argument for Martial over Mount given injury and potential fixture pile up for Chelsea post IB. Nice to have one differential pick in there. And the next two for Chelsea are a bit ho-hum depending on which Palace turn up.

      Are you 0.1 off McGinn from Hayden? He's perhaps too good as a fifth mid but KdB is due to miss one shortly I'd imagine and the fixture calendar after IB for the vast majority of your team is horrendous after IB

    Or find a way to keep Sterling but get Mane in too, with Mount with a possible injury.

        Think it might have to be, getting killed by not owning Mane and captaining Sterling.
        Waiting for Mendy and Sterling to double up and destroy TAA this weekend haha.

        I really liked Jimmy in for Auba. But Auba's fixtures are decent too (bar Leicester... or is that a goal fest?)

    Really confused this week. Thought I was in a nice position and had planned to save. Then I thought of Sterling out to Martial (ridiculous before I saw his fixtures), and then Connolly to Jiminez or something next GW. Now Mount is injured, Salah looks to be struggling, I still don't have TAA, and poor bench and poor fixtures to contend with this week.

    Only 1FT, 0.2ITB. Thoughts really appreicated

      Think youre fine to save this week, only player I see people desparate to bring in this week is Vardy and you already have him, bench is fine to cover Mount if he misses out
