Our weekly Fantasy Premier League quiz returns and we’ve been trawling through the history books in order to attack you with 20 questions on the 2012/13 campaign.

This was the season of Manchester United’s most-recent title win, with Sir Alex Ferguson stepping down from the hot seat at Old Trafford after 27 years at the helm.

Gareth Bale scooped about every award going in his final campaign as a Premier League player, while Queens Park Rangers, Reading and Wigan Athletic all dropped down to the Championship.

From a Fantasy perspective, this was also the year of Michu – the Spaniard racking up 21 attacking returns in his debut season in England.

As ever there’s a mix of questions on FPL returns and key events, which vary in difficulty.

To make life a little easier for those who have more important things to remember, the multi-choice format at least gives you a one in four chance of answering each brainteaser correctly.

      There are things to notice, it's designed that way. But expecting the same scores and goalscorers is wrong. You need a big enough sample of games to notice the trends, hence it's always useful to share results together. See above posts about mixed performances for Salah as an example. That gives you an approximate probability of him delivering today.

    President of UEFA has just confirmed the following.

    CL & Europa League are to completed in August

    If leagues are null and voided / cancelled the European qualifying spots will be awarded only on 2019/20 sporting merits and nothing else.

                It’s not so much a matter of what the outcome will be but more of a timing. They probably wouldn’t leave City out of it until a decision on appeal is made which won’t be before the start of next season.

              I don’t think City will get banned anyway but there isn’t any controversy between Man Utd and Shef Utd for the 5th place. Whether it’s current points, points per game or weighted points per game Man Utd is above on all parameters.

      'Concrete plan' for European football to finish

      The president of European football's governing body says it has a "concrete plan" to finish the season in August.

      The Champions League and Europa League competitions, halted during the last-16 stage because of the coronavirus pandemic, look likely to be played exclusively in August.

      Uefa president Aleksander Ceferin said the games will "have to be played without spectators", adding he hopes the "majority" of domestic leagues will complete the season.

      In other sporting news:

      Newcastle manager Steve Bruce says resuming Premier League under strict protocols would be safer than going to the "supermarket or putting in petrol" But Bruce wants the planned 12 June restart put back so players can get "match fit"

    At the moment Salah is coming in for KDB which is a bit risky but it's hard to look past Sane's form. I could bring him in for Sane instead if I wanted to play a bit safer.

    Has anyone tried to transfer a player on the Transfers page in Real FPL? It's letting me swap players but I haven't confirmed move as I'm not planning to do any transfers.

          Far as i remember in previous seasons, once GW 38 is underway, the 'Transfers' tab disappears totally.

          Therefore since it now is there, definitely i think there are changes afoot in the programming ... let's wait and see what happens!

                  Ach, annoying - sorry about that. We did roll out a WordPress update in midweek so it could be that. I tested it on mobile before the update and it worked fine on Android but there might be an issue elsewhere.

    That last day of 2012/13 season was a proper goalfest and points galore for my FPL team. Highlight for me was Lukaku scoring a hattie after coming on as a halftime sub.
