It’s Sunday, which means only one thing: it’s time for another Fantasy Premier League quiz.
We’ve gone back in time to the 2011/12 campaign and prepared 20 multi-choice questions on Fantasy returns and key events.
This was one of the most memorable seasons in Premier League history, with Manchester City securing their first league title in 44 years thanks to an unforgettable last-minute goal from Sergio Aguero on the final weekend.
Alan Pardew’s Newcastle United were the surprise package as they sealed a fifth-place finish, while Bolton Wanderers, Blackburn Rovers and Wolverhampton Wanderers dropped into the Championship.
Click ‘next’ below to start the quiz and to cycle through the questions, and let us know how you got on in the comments section.
Depending on whether we get any sort of announcement from the Premier League about a restart over the coming week, this may well be the last quiz of the series for now.
I swear you’ll never see anything like this ever again…
like real fpl I keep missing hauls, I sold ings too and played lascelles instead of wonder bonus ward, swapped de bruyne for sane etc etc salah captain so naturally he will break toes in 51st minute just after getting sent off after his penalty miss ...
"The Premier League's return has moved a step closer as clubs have been given the green light to resume full contact training again.
Under new guidelines released on Monday, sports teams are now permitted to train in larger groups as phase two of the UK government's plan was announced.
The move has been made in support of proposals to complete the current season, with a restart pencilled in for some time next month.
Government guidance read: "Stage Two training can be described as the resumption of close-contact [interaction within the two-metre social-distancing boundary] training where pairs, small groups and/or teams will be able to interact in much closer contact [e.g. close quarters coaching, combat sports sparring, teams sports tackling, technical equipment sharing, etc]."
Makes sense. I would have presumed they would need to start full contact training, then give it a week or so to see what the results of the coronavirus tests are like during full contact and then make a decision on full games. Or they could still put a provisional date in place I suppose.
Use it when a lot of teams have an easy fixture and/or most of the players you currently own have a hard fixture. Sure there is a bit of luck involved (my FH team somehow got 110 points), but you can definitely get a similar score if you pick just the right players.
If I still had my FH I would actually consider using it in GW25 and getting double (or even triple) City just for that juicy fixture versus West Ham.
Hope you guys are all fine and healthy. Just a little bit of an update on #ChampManFPL
Those that aren't playing, its FPL based on a simulation in Championship Manager 01/02. I cannot recommend this game enough. They now have an FPL style website - http://www.fantasychampman.com/ and are starting a second half of the season league (in 2 weeks).

There's a Sky Style video stream on matchdays as well. I'm absolutely enjoying this game.
In case you're thinking of joining, i've put together a beginner's guide here:
