We have launched a new Fantasy Premier League classic mini-league to mark the resumption of the 2019/20 season, with scoring starting from Gameweek 30+.

Whether you’re currently ranked first in the world or closer to the seven-million mark, everyone is in with a chance of winning as all entrants start from zero.

Head to the FPL site via this link and use the code ‘i3lxye’ to sign up (full details are towards the bottom of this piece).

There’s not only pride at stake in this mini-league but the carrot of free annual memberships to the managers who finish in the top five places.

Don’t worry if you’re already subscribed for 2020/21 – we’ll refund your payment if your finish qualifies you for this prize.

Our new end-of-season mini-league is called the ‘The FFScout Charity Shield‘ and we’re also using this opportunity to try and raise money for the NHS.

We usually offer Amazon vouchers to those finishing in the podium places of our Fantasy Football Scout and Fantasy Football Scout Members leagues, and that remains the case in this stop-start season.

For ‘The FFScout Charity Shield’, we at Fantasy Football Scout are pledging the cash equivalent – £300 – to NHS Charities Together.

The selfless work that our National Health Service key workers carry out on a daily basis has been brought into sharp focus over the last three months.

      A big thank you from me, also to Ragabolly. It's certainly kept me occupied during the long weeks of no FPL. Hopefully, it might reappear during future closed seasons.
      Just for fun, and to keep them match-fit, I ran my actual FPL team (as was in GW29) throughout the whole VFPL competition.
      They finished 13th with 2606 points. Hopefully, they will do just as well once the actual FPL resumes on Wednesday

    A bit late to the party but mad props to everyone at the LiveFPL team for making Virtual FPL an experience to remember. Ended up finishing 96th and sneaking into the top 100 thanks to a Ryan CS in the final game - you couldn't write it!

    Anyone else think the DGW fever will end up in a terrible disappointment? 3 months without games, and suddenly 2 games in 1 week with 5 transfers available means tons of injuries and heavy mid/forward rotation. I am surprised how few Chelsea players have been picked up for their SGW match against Villa exhausted from the match vs Sheffield with a reserve goalkeeper...and how many plan to actually double up on the Villa def.

      Abraham tempts me a bit but would rather have Jimenez instead. Grealish better option than Mount and their defence is no go zone imo.

        I guess a big reason is trying to afford a MCity triple up + Aubameyang + decent bench for the BB, which leaves very little cash for getting both Grealish AND Mount.

        Abraham vs Giroud is also not worth a gamble, especially not on a BB. But whichever of the two actually plays might well bag a hat trick is my gut feeling.

          Mount, Giroud, Willian and Alonso I suppose. Mount seems like the safest bet out of these, the others are hit-or-miss. Any could be great differentials on a FH team since BB teams won't pick them up.

    Don't have second wildcard left so was thinking of ignoring Liverpool players in gw30 and 32.

    Ship them out pre gw30 and use funds to load dgw players, fh31 to bring them in for favorable fixture, in gw32 they have ManC away.

    Sounds like a plan?

        Its quite template atm.

        I wouldn't want Mane/ Salah for this gw but against Palace they are must haves imo, best captaincy options.

        No dgws after gw30 so it really doesn't matter when to play fh imo.

    So the 2 teams I thought at the start of the day would go down with Villa did indeed go down in VFPL.

    Newcastle conceding a late penalty was a cruel way for them to get relegated.

    West Ham did too little too late.

    Bournemouth were on a roll and rode with it in true Wigan like great escape style.

    Hey guys, can i please have a RMT:

    Ederson, Leno
    Egan, Doherty, Targett, Stevens, TAA
    Fleck, KDB, Grealish, Douglas Luiz, Sterling
    Auba, Abraham, Jimenez

    No money left. I had Mount and Aguero instead of Sterling and Abraham before but changed.

    I feel Abraham is a better option than Mount.

    I also think Sterling is as nailed as Aguero really i.e. its a lottery!)
