Recapping the best Wolves players ahead of FPL restart

Wolves are offering a healthy number of viable assets for Fantasy Premier League managers, regardless of their chip strategy.

The next few weeks mean that their players could help out those Free Hitting or Bench Boosting in Double Gameweek 30+ or planning for the long-term.

We are currently recapping which players went into the coronavirus (COVID-19) suspension in the best form, using each club’s last six matches for the analysis.

We have also been assessing the impact of recently appointed new managers in the Premier League, so this series covers the other 15 sides, concluding with Wolves.

As we are sure you understand, a lot has changed since the climax of Gameweek 29, with Premier League players unable to fully train with their team-mates for nearly three months. 

However, it should still serve to know who was performing best before the break.

          That's the hardest scenario to deal with, finding a balanced team for DGW and going forward, for me BB only works if you've got a WC, as I said I'd go FH and wait for some nice fixtures for the BB.

      Smith’s other dilemma is in goal, where Orjan Nyland and Pepe Reina are competing for a place.

      Reina has not looked particularly reliable since stepping into Villa’s starting line-up, but Smith seems to have more faith in him than Nyland, and it could be the Spaniard just about is given the nod.

        Initially wasn't going to use any chip now due to the lack of info.
        However, since gw30 seems to be the only double, I think it makes sense to BB now.
        Will keep FH for later, with more info, to avoid taking more hits then.

    Not really a fan of the McGinn pick alongside Grealish as I can't see him getting much out of either game. But are there any better options for 5.6 or less?

        I had Cantwell originally but there was no love for him on here and more love for McGinn. But where is McGinn's attacking threat realistically against Sheffield Utd and Chelsea

          the only reason he went off the boil is becuase he was exhausted from so many minutes. He's a young talent and will do well. Mcginn hasnt played a compettive match for about 6 months.

        Good point- I always seem to be .1 m short of what I really want- and just wanted 7 attacking players but TAA Alonso as good as. Will see if can fit TAA in as not certain Alonso starts with Rees being fit and him and Emerson starting at weekend. Azpilicueta could also take Alonso’s place.

    So... it's back! Tactics clarification. I have a wild card left plus the free transfers before Wednesday. Presumably I should use the free transfers, but keep all the players with lots of transfer money attached. So Ings, who I bought for a million less than he is now, should not be swapped for the free transfers. The squad should retain as much value as I can, So that if I use wildcard on a following week, then I have extra funds to use. Lots of money tied up in TAA, the Lord, Ings and Traore.
    End up with Hendo, TAA, Baldi, Lund; KDB, Sterling, Grealosh, Traore;
    Auba, Aguero, Ings with Lascelles, Stevens and Guendozi on bench. And no spare cash, and real term selling value of squad 104.7.
    Am I On right lines?!
