Whether you have an abundance of Fantasy Premier League chips or none remaining, this latest episode of the Scoutcast has got you covered.

Joe is joined by Lateriser and Andy to look ahead to Gameweek 31+ and beyond, with a close eye on chip strategy.

Lateriser is among the many FPL managers to take advantage of unlimited transfers in Gameweek 30+ and use their Bench Boost chip. With his Wildcard now in play, he reveals the players in his thinking and how best to navigate the weeks ahead.

Meanwhile, Joe only has a Bench Boost to fall back on. Our trio looks at the best Gameweeks to consider using not only this chip, but other remaining chips too.

Andy has used all his chips but after tinkering during lockdown with his team, he feels he is in good shape to match his chip-happy rivals.

Among the issues they discuss are what to do with Arsenal’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (£11.0m), who blanked in his last two run-outs but has two good fixtures ahead and enticing underlying stats too.

Sticking with the Gunners, there are replacement goalkeepers to mull over, after Bernd Leno (£5.0m) suffered a nasty knock against Brighton at the weekend.

The best Liverpool assets, whether Manchester City can be swerved temporarily and the unlikely appeal of Newcastle United are also in the mix.

In this packed 75-minute show, the Scoutcasters also find time to look at the best clean sheet prospects. Lateriser takes his turn to pick a differential and there are Gameweek 31+ squads to reveal.

        Yup, I like Aurier but I hate watching their games given how much of a nuisance he can be. Can either be good or awful, you just don't know what you will get. A goal or a red. 😀

    couple of burning questions i am facing on WC

    1) money irrelevant...De Gea or Pope? Pope has higher ceiling for saves/baps but Ddg has more cs chances

    2) Who to choose from Aurier / Maguire / Awb if you could only pick 1?

    3A) Doherty + Sarr
    3B) Saiss + Martial

      I’d be more tempted by Foster than either tbh - he’s right up there on baps. Can see Watford putting a nice run together

      I’d go Ederson over DDG if money really no object and you want to maximise cs

      I really can't decide on my keeper, I think Patricio looking most likely. Don't fancy Pope with what's going on at burnley.

        Hart
        Bardlsey
        Legzdins

        ...

        Is that really a big deal? Dyche will rightly play it up in the media but... Their core players are all fine (Hendrick excepted)

    Think next season I definitely will do some value chasing in the early weeks. spent far too long sticking by Salah, Sterling and Auba and now my Team Value is poo poo compared to some of the stacked front 8s I'm seeing

      I had a poor start so stopped watching price changes so closely and more time playing the form and fixtures. Struggling TV wise too now although my rank is good just outside top 10k. Going to try and do the same as you next season so the second WC is easier to get the heavy hitters

      I'd say value isn't the actual issue there its more the sheer level of trollery that Auba & Sterling have developed this season (and Salah to a lesser extent - he has trolled while Mane plays, or while he is away from Anfield, then when Mane is absent he averages nearly 12 points per game so redeems himself there):

      Sterling - home troll:
      - Away: 15 Apps / 80 points / 10 attacking returns / 10.5 XG / 20 Big chances (5.3 PPA)
      - Home*: 14 Apps / 47 points / 4 attacking returns / 3.4 XG / 4 Big Chances ( 3.3 PPA)
      *Ignoring his 1-point 1-minuter vs. Everton GW21

      Auba - home troll:
      - 10 "Blue" home fixtures (BUR, AVL, BOU, CPL, WOL, SOU, BHA, SHU, NEW, WHM)
      - Have yielded (6,5,2,2,8,5,2,0,8,2)

      Salah - Away Troll / Mane troll:
      - Away 5.1 PPA (62 points, 12 apps)
      - Home 8.9 PPA (124 points, 14 apps)
      - No Mané 11.6 PPA (58 points, 5 apps)
      - With Mane 5.9 PPA (130 points, 22 apps)

      Auba though, and particularly Sterling have generally been absolute poison to an FPL team this season - you cant be having 11.0+ tied up in players who you can't reliably captain imo

    Realised out of my many drafts it seems to often come down to one choice:

    A) Go without a Liverpool attacker on WC
    B) Lose value on De Bruyne by going without for next 2 GWs

      More or less the same boat as me. Difficult one. They looked a little toothless v Everton the other night. It's a worry to go without but might be the only way

        Yep, my issue with them is that once they have won the league I’m not sure I can trust their starts. If I can be sure I have good captain options each week then I may go without. Keeping TAA for now.

      Same position as me. I’m really contemplating going without a Liverpool attacker.

      It basically comes down to either Salah + Maximin or Son + Richarlison.

      I really think the latter will get more points this GW.

      Looks pretty good, KDB will very likely start so you take a gamble there. as the games are good for most i would probably pick a pen taker to be my captain. Also, West ham won´t budge when it is a derby and they have plenty to play for.

    On a wc, need opinions on these please
    A) How risky is my gk combo Martínez/3.9
    B) Is there much between Maguire & Aurier
    C) Is it worth taking Salah out for Mane to upgrade Kienan Davis to Saka
    However I juggle my squad I always seem to be 0.1 away from feeling comfortable

      a) Personally, I've went a set & forget in Patrico.

      b) Currently, on Maguire I feel he offers more potential attacking returns. However, Aurier looked good but is a card magnet.

      c) Personally. I've Mane in because he got minutes and looked sharp. So, yes and bring in Saka.

        Cheers. On the Mane/Salah my main concern was Salah rotating with Mane, albeit different positions & Davis having played oop but surely his minutes will still be limited compared to Saka’s
