Six-time top 5k finisher Zøphar talks us through every match of Gameweek 38+ and discusses his Free Hit draft.

The final Gameweek of the season is here and if last season’s concluding matchday is any indication, there are serious point gains to be made.

A total of 36 goals were scored in Gameweek 38 of 2019/20, with six different teams scoring on three or more occasions.

For this article, I will be looking at the various fixtures and identifying players which can help you make that final push, whether you’re on a Free Hit or making transfers.

                  Personally yes but could go either way. Villa will go for it and I think WHU will concede but all this is just my opinion. SOU I think have better chance of cleany.

                  Surely a Burnley double-up is better than a WHU double-up. Don't forget that Villa could find themselves in a position where a win will guarantee safety. If there is a game for them to turn up, it would be this one.

    Are there any good FPL prospects in promotion candidates? From the limited knowledge I have on Championship, it doesn't seem very promising.:

    Leeds: Luke Ayling has decent attacking threat but Leeds likely to concede loads in PL. Attacking returns usually shared across a lot of players so not much interest in there.

    West Brom: When on form/fit Charlie Austin might be an ok option but nothing new there.

    Brentford: Benrahma is a great player but doubt he'll stay. Watkins doesn't seem like a PL level striker from what I've seen.

    Fulham: Maybe Mitrovic but again nothing new there.

        It could be Cardiff or Nottingham Forest as well based on playoffs but the top 2 will be out of these teams. Cardiff team not a lot different from the team in PL last year as far as I know. Don't know much about Nottingham Forest.

    A few questions for GW38...
    - Would you just hold on to kdb Dilva Jesus or switch the combos? Hard to know if a hit would pay off
    - currently I can afford Bruno/Rashford to Antonio/Kane or Auba. Can see a tight game vs Leicester do you think these moves would pay off? Seems Kane safer pick with no chance of mins being managed

      Maybe it's the thought that United's form is slowing, he has looked tired/has had no rest, Rashford might take next pen when he is on the pitch, people taking a risk to jump OR over those with no FH.

    Why most FH teams go for Auba with terrible defense?

    Why not downgrade Auba and get 3 premium defenders(especially if you dont captain him) and dont think Watford will be easy game for them.

      Lots of people think that Burnley defenders have as good a chance of CS and maybe even attacking returns as any other.

      I'm hoping they're wrong (currently on Robbo Tierney Aurier) but they could be right.

      Last roll of the dice. A good return for a defender is 10 points. The Burnley lads will likely get 6. To upgrade them you have to pay 2-3m for a Doherty, Alonso, TAA, Robbo. In midfield 2m gets you Dilva instead of Wjnauldum or Martial instead of Grealish.
