I’m not so sure on Pulisic myself, he’ll be value at points throughout the season for sure though.

I also like Sterling at 11.5 alongside KDB, it’s not clear cut there for me.

Think Bruno is good value at 1m cheaper.

Ings will need to be at his best, even better to match last season. His history in FPL not that great but at 8.5 he probably shows the most value out of the fwds and probably will be in many teams.

IF both Ings and Jimi were 8.5, I'd prefer Jimi personally. Not sure I want either at that price though. Rather stack up Def and Mid.

I don’t think Pulisic is in that many teams. He didn’t do extremely well for his price last season. He had 2 good runs but he also had long runs of blanks. Also if they sign Haverfz, Lampard will still have to fit in his favourite player (Mount) somewhere in the team so he might not be nailed.

FPL has two elements.

The first is picking those players who will score points over the longer term and are cheap (e.g. TAA, Vardy, KDB last season, but we have had Kane, Alli, Mahrez, AWB etc in prior years as well).

The second is picking those players who will score points over the shorter term and who offer good value because of their points potential in given fixtures.

If you don't have fun now, you never will

Not the right way to do it. Gotta compare with players from his position. You would be surprised to know that Tarkowski's points per million wasn't that far off TAA's.

It's relative to the alternatives in that position though as you have to have a certain number of players from each position. Expensive defenders become bad value at a much lower price than midfielders because of what cheaper alternatives in defense offer relative to their counterparts in midfield.

If fpl list 4.5m strikers who regularly play, 451 looks a tempting formation.

Have to agree with the Auba position switch. I get he's not an out and out striker but classifying him mid doesn't sit right.

It'll be interesting to see what value there is to be had in the 7.5m range in the mids and 6.5m forwards

Id get TAA first then look at mids not the other way round tbh

I think plenty will forego Trent in favor of trying to fit in 4 premium mids. Their loss... They will come crawling back when he gets his first run of consecutive double digits while their premium mids blank

why do you need the fixtures first ? They relaunched FPL last season with only a small number of fixture known, then adjusted the deadline accordingly when they were released.

Remember Arsenal had Emery and chaos at the start of last season. Auba still delivered. Add him in as a mid and likely playing CF in a team with better attackers than last time...

Prefer to get Doherty or second Liverpool defence ahead of Mo with a slightly different balance in midfield. Interesting point is though that we are both looking at non Liverpool triple ups - very tricky to do with both Bruno and KdB
