Hall of Fame number one Fábio Borges joins Fantasy Football Scout for 2020/21

We at Fantasy Football Scout are delighted to announce that we’ve added yet another high-profile name to our all-star cast of contributors for the 2020/21 season.

And Fantasy Premier League managers don’t come much more illustrious than Fábio Borges, who currently sits atop our Career Hall of Fame.

You’ll need a pretty impressive season history to claim first place in those rankings and Fábio boasts an incredible track record of five successive finishes in the top 5,000 of FPL.

Two of those have been inside the top 1k, with his best-ever overall rank of 95th recorded in 2018/19.

Fábio has never finished outside the top 20,000 in six seasons of playing the game and, just to underscore his prowess, he was also the winner of Ragabolly’s inaugural Virtual FPL competition over the summer.

The Lisbon resident will be involved with Fantasy Football Scout in a Pro Pundit capacity and will be writing articles throughout the season.

Fábio follows site founder Mark Sutherns in joining our star-studded team of contributors, which includes some of the best FPL managers in the world.

The likes of Lateriser, Zophar and Tom Freeman, who have multiple top 1k finishes between them, have come aboard for another year and we are thrilled that they will be writing for us once again in 2020/21.

While there will be our usual offering of free content from these elite names, only Premium Members of Fantasy Football Scout will get unrestricted access to all of their analysis and team reveals.

Full-year subscriptions are available for the pre-season price of £17.50 until August 31, while rolling monthly Memberships can be purchased for £2.99.

I think the Anceloti will at least try to bring them back to 4-2-3-1 and accomodate Sigurdson, but we will have to wait and see.

Nice little 4-4-2 I’ve just come up with

    McCarthy (4.0)

Very nice but I just couldn't have Dier in my team, such an awful player.

Do you know much about Pereira? I prefer Soucek to him and he's a lot cheaper.

When I've looked into it TAA VVD is better value.

Nice.... Good fixtures all round except Mitrovic imo. Minimum of around 32 points (give or take) if everyone plays and then you can get returns on top of that!

There’s not enough upside on your picks to warrant spunking a WC. Also, when you WC so early, you invariably want to change tour team again by GW4. Not enough info after one set of fixtures (4 teams won’t have even played yet).

I can have 3 MU players in.... Also I've built my team and transfers already and the players in there are literally fixture proof

Where is Dier? No Rose too. Bavies nailed?

Diet just out of the squad we have 2 more friendlies so imagine most will play 45-90 mins spread over the 3

Rose is outcast unless anything has changed. Bavies not nailed but starts for us gw1 I would have thought

Wouldn’t of thought so Kane is quarantined so he’s just played up top for this game

VVD as a set and forget, go home and never tinker with it again

Mane explosive one week punt and placeholder for Fernandes

That third precious Liverpool spot is then lost though

Thinking VVD and then Son as a placeholder with cash itb

I am currently going for TAA, Manè and Salah. Unless something has changed drastically to the last few seasons, they can haul against anyone. I’m not sure about this whole “Manè as a placeholder” lark. If the man is firing, you are unlikely to sell. Or at least shouldn’t! Bruno, Auba, Kdb, Salah, Manè and co are all going to haul similarly really and getting itchy fingers because you missed one of those hauls could prove damaging. Being patient may be the best way but taking into account fixture swings and form obviously.

He will play false 9 on occassion in other competitions. Cant see that happening in the PL tho. So yea not really relevant
IMO Kane starts all PL games, Son and Alli occassionally play false 9 in other competitions, but still Kane plays at least half of those games.

And I think theres a good chance Spurs sign Callum WIlson or someone, if Son or Kane got injured that would be really bad

    Taa, vinagre, Saliba*
    Ziyech, Salah, auba, son, maxim

Few question marks here. Saliba not nailed and I do think Zyech/Werner is a bit too much for the first week, can see both being eased in as Frank has other decent options to rotate until they settle.

I also think there's better options than Lamptey. I really want him myself, but just can't warrant it with their fixtures

its only one game, no other obvious ways to get Bruno in. Auba>KDB is a straight swap, but for Bruno you have to find some money.

Need Vardy to score a hattie so I can be reassured of my faith in him

Anyone know when the Leicester friendlies are? Or just a list of all confirmed friendlies?
